Chapter 271 [Mr. Solovoski's troubles (I)]
Harik was the Angel who entered the mortal realm in search of his wife. His wife, Raphi, The Angel Fate Weaver, appeared in the mortal realm for unknown reasons, and was currently somehow involved in the upcoming war.
He was approached by Neptune(Adam) who saved his corrosion and prevented him from becoming a Fallen Angel. And after a deal with Neptune, in order to find his wife, he was currently working with, Iris, the Sin of Lust in the Neptune's Clinic.
…
"I have lived enough to bet my life on the line. And if it is to protect it against the likes of you, I will bet it every day, every second of my life. Remember Laplace… the name is Harik Solovoski! The Angel who will be taking your head as a prize here!."
-Harik Solovoski
…
[Harik's POV]
"Harik! Help me out with the bandages! I am almost out of it," Hecate, the God of Magic waved at me as he wiped his non-existent sweat.
"Harik! Iris! Come here and help me restock these antibiotics," the Keeper of Fates, Castellina, called me and the Sin of Lust to help her with the restocking.
"Hm," and the silent child, who previously had no arms but now has them, helped us out with a box of antibiotics before I could even move a muscle.
Is she a God too? She sure does feel the same. How come I have never heard of anyone like her?
"She was already helping us so much before. Now that she has her limbs back, more than half of our work seems to have become non-existent," Iris spoke with a surprised expression as she gawked at how that girl, Equi, was currently carrying dozens of boxes on her own.
Higher Gods. Demons. Humans. And even the Sin of Lust.
Things surely are getting hectic by the minute. Though, it doesn't really matter to me much. All that matters is my Wife, Raphi.
"You daydreaming again?" Iris, the Sin of Lust, spoke as she nudged against my shoulder before she took the box from my hands," gimme them." And then took them to Castellina.
Since she took care of that, I took a dozen packets of bandages and moved towards Hecate as well.

'My wife. Where are you? You are okay right?' I questioned. There was a little bit of worry in that question, and a little bit of prayer in it. But then again, whom should I pray, really? For the Highest of the Gods were selling medicine here.
"This is crazy," I mumbled as I returned to work again. Treating the never ending line of demons and angels, one at a time, slowly and steadily.
And as I was wondering about my slow not-so-important monotonous life, a voice came from the main gate of the clinic.
"Harik. Iris. Come with me."
The man wore blue from top to bottom. He had blue eyes and hair, as if they were made out of deep sea water. Even though his appearance was more of that of a human, since I fought him before, I knew. He was a demi-human with the blood of sea flowing in his body.
Though why he was hiding his mermaid/siren origins was something beyond me. Was it because of a deeper meaning? Or perhaps it was just out of inconvenience? I wondered more often than not.
"Sir Neptune!"
A smile formed on the children's faces while all the adults looked at him with a deep look. His presence was enough to make him the center of attention but he doesn't seem to be too bothered by it, for his eyes were solely focused on me and Iris.
"Come with me," he called again as he moved deeper into the clinic, into one of the corner rooms which was used for storages of extra herbs and such. And while it was seemingly empty and we can surely talk there away from each other's eyes, I don't think we can prevent anyone in this clinic from hearing our conversations in the other room. Especially given their Godly origin and all.
Though, as if Iris understood his intentions, she opened her realm, immediately transferring us to a secluded space where no one would bother us. It was the same throne room where I fought with Neptune and lost. But then again, I am alive because he was the one who stopped my corruption.
"While there were many reasons why I had you both involved with me, the most important one was to search for my brother. And while it delights me to tell you that I have met him, the things he informed me are anything but merry," he spoke with an apologetic expression.
Hands behind his back, he slowly walked in a serene manner.
"There were many things that my brother shared with me. Many of which are connected with one of you, and most of it has nothing to do with the other. So before I give you your choices in this matter, will it be all right to hear this mer-human a little?" He spoke politely, and we both nodded.
While it was true that we were here because of him, he was also someone who genuinely tried helping us. And even though we are surrounded by gods and demons and such, not a single hair of ours were touched.
There may be little proof of connection between our safety and Neptune, but somehow it always felt like it was because of Neptune that none of the Gods bothered me or Iris here.
"A war is coming. One on a scale that no one might have witnessed before," Neptune spoke. His eyes turned sharp as he continued to describe the events that were going to happen soon.
He told us about the stories regarding the fate of the world, the Fate Weavers and such. And then he explained how one of them was coming here to destroy this world completely once and for all.
The reasons why Gods were here, the fact that Raphi was one of the Fate Weavers, the fact that everyone's life was hanging by threads here and a great war is about to happen between the Titan giants, the fate weavers and the Gods.
And by the end of it…
"…"
"…"
We just blankly stared at Neptune as he simply stood there, observing the scenery of clouds through the window.
