It just so happens that Aquina became an adventurer quite recently (six months ago), was a newbie, though a good archer and had a little bit of magic. These five adventurers were the ones who betrayed Aquina and sold her to that bastard.

Aquina reacted cautiously to their appearance and prepared to defend herself. But those were in no hurry to attack her and said that they were adventurers and had come for the souls of the goblins. Aquina, hearing that she would not be attacked, gave out that there were no goblins here and they were all dead now.

The adventurers, of course, were surprised, and they got into a conversation in which they found out that Aquina alone had cleaned out the goblin cave. Those, naturally, admired her and began to praise her, and afterwards decided to share the profits from the quest in a friendly manner and offered their company to the city. And afterwards they became friends on the way. Since they were friendly, she didn't notice anything in their behaviour.

Already in the city, in the guild, they offered her to join their group, arguing that it was safe and highly profitable, and the company was good. Having agreed, the girl joined them.

And so it began.

Aquinas, of course, did not realise anything at the time, for the girls, though angry, did not show it.

But the lad... became very angry. For six months he had paid attention to Aquina in every possible way, but she took it as friendly feelings, nothing more. By the next day, he came to her room alone and confessed again, expecting her to agree, but after receiving a second polite refusal, the guy went completely nuts.

Finding out from his girlfriends about the plan, he decided to change it. And if the girls just wanted to play a joke, albeit harshly, the guy completely changed their plan, and even the girls supported him, after all, the rival!

After buying some local herbal sleeping pills, they took another goblin quest. The guy, meanwhile, had made a deal with the one-eyed man and, after receiving the bag of gold, grinned as he looked at Aquinas, sat down next to her for the last time, and, like the usual villain of some game, gave her his plan.

'If you had agreed to be with me, none of this would have happened!' - he said one last time, grinning nastily, and walked away.

That's when Aquinas realised how human nature of such ordinary guys can be. Muttering something in his back, she stayed with the one-eyed man, and he picked her up on his shoulders and carried her to his boss. Aquina panicked, of course, for she knew what happened to girls like her, but she was in for an even worse fate: torture. Every night she was tortured by the leader of the bandits, poking a needle into certain places on her body. Each night was worse for her than the night before.
