I will protect this library.Koji: I see.Koji- It's fine. The way Petelgeuse was looking at Emilia. They're clearly here for her. Even if Beatrice stays she won't be killed. They'll be too busy chasing us.I found Rem and Ram informing them as we all went to the village. we informed everyone as we got on carriages but as we went along several carriages exploded. I was caught in the blast.Koji- We have a traitor.Loop Fail.—————————————————————————————————————MansionThis time I went to see Rem and Ram.Ram: What is it Ayanotaka?Koji: I think we have a traitor in the village.I showed them a forged anonymous letter that detailed that there was a witches cult informant living in Irlam Village.Ram: What?Rem: I'll kill them!We went to the village to investigate and found the traitor as Rem and Ram could smell the witch's scent coming off of them. Rem killed the traitor and then we went to Emilia.Emilia: A witch's cut informant?Koji: The Villagers could be in danger. We need to leave.Emila: Right.We organised the evacuation and everyone listened to Emilia as we made our way out but then we saw a fog as we tried to go around but it seemed to surround the estate. We made sure not to go near the place the Witch Cult was coming from though.Koji: What is this fog?Emilia: I don't know but it's not good.Suddenly an eye appeared next to the carriage.Koji: What is that?Emilia: The White Whale!? Then this is its fog?Koji: What is the White Whale?Emilia: We have to get away from the fog! Everyone!It was too late. The Floating Whale destroyed the carriages killing everyone including me.Loop Fail.—————————————————————————————————————MansionI woke up again and headed to Rem and Ram showing them another forged letter this time including in it that the white Whale would surround the estate. This time we quickly found and observed the traitor finding out where he put messages for the cult to find later. We then killed the traitor. This time I forged a letter stating that Knights from Lugonica were on the premises.Koji- Let's hope this works.It didn't. Like madmen, they still came to the estate. I worked with everyone killing all the other Witch Cultists and killing Peterguese last. He still managed to possess me.Loop Fail.—————————————————————————————————————MansionI woke up again and went to Rema and Ram showing the forged letter. We found the traitor killing him and returned to Emilia.Emilia: What should we do?Koji: Since the White Whale is preventing our retreat maybe we should force our way through where they came from. They likely wouldn't expose their own troops to the White Whale but I admit that this is risky as the White Whale's fog could have us completely surrounded.Emilia: Yes but we can't sit around here waiting to die.We all organised the effort to push through but there were masses upon masses of casualties as I saw that the White Wahtle's fog wasn't there. There was an opening for escape but with so many people to protect it was impossible. We did our best fighting the Witch Cult I killed the Witch Cultists in a different order but Petelguese still possessed me.Loop Fail.—————————————————————————————————————MansionI woke up in the same bed again to find my hands shaking.Koji- I've never died more than once in the same loop let alone this many times. Is it getting to me? That previous plan. I could make it work but only me and Emilia would make it through. No she'd never agree to that.I got up and repeated the day. This time I worked with my allies to build a metal cage. We then killed all the other Cultists but Petelguese and then forced him into the cage shutting and locking it with everyone working together to reinforce it but then Petelgeuse somehow knowing I was a potential vessel killed himself possessing me.Loop Fail.—————————————————————————————————————MansionI woke up in the same bed my hands now visibly shaking. I pinched my arm to calm myself.Koji- I had a feeling dying was mentally straining me. It's why I was so adamant about trying to avoid it.I got up.Koji- I have to keep trying. Think how do I win? Is this about getting the right pattern of killing the cultists? Wait no. Trying something else first.I repeated the day and this time we were able to gather all the cultists in one area and kill them all simultaneously. Petelgeuse possessed me again.Loop Fail.—————————————————————————————————————MansionThe feeling of waking up in this bed was starting to annoying. I could feel my body trembling as I slammed my fist onto my leg to calm myself.Koji- I have to try every combination.This time we killed the Cultists in a different order. It had been so many loops since my hands had stopped shaking. I had thought I knew the feeling of not fearing death before but now I realised that was a lie. I realised this because I had truly stopped fearing death many loops ago.Koji- The Witch Cult is coming today as well.I counted it in my head. 151, 314 loops. I had been trapped in this loop for 414 years. No matter what I did to fight Petelguese. No matter what manner I killed them in he would always possess me. if I tried to evacuate all the villagers would be slaughtered. No means of bluffs worked on him either. Training my body was pointless since it would revert back to it's its original state upon my death. I felt like I was going insane. All the progress I had made in regaining my emotions it felt like they were nothing compared to this. Nothing could make me feel insanity and hopelessness like this while also making me feel empty and dead inside. The White Room was a children's playground compared to this. I... I don't want to die anymore. I'm not afraid of it. I just don't want to die anymore.Koji- Time to try this again.At this point, my mind couldn't even think of any solutions. Ever since loop 150, 000 I had just been aimlessly killing the cultist hoping that one time it would work. I went outside. After all this time I had gotten used to their attack patterns. It was possible to protect everyone while they stayed in the village but even now attempting to escape wouldn't work. There was too much area to protect so casualties would still be too high. I couldn't think of anything so I just mindlessly slaughtered them as Petelguese possessed me again.Loop Fail.—————————————————————————————————————
