Chapter 6: CHAPTER 6: Death train
With a loud noise, the helicopter began to shake violently. "What's going on?" Enrico shouted to the pilot.
"There's an engine failure, hold on tight, I'm going to make an emergency landing."
After Kevin finished speaking, he firmly grabbed the steering wheel of the helicopter to stabilize it.
The helicopter spun in the air and fell into the forest. Soon the blades passed through several nearby trees and landed on the ground.
No one was hurt during the landing. "Well done, Kevin." Enrico patted Kevin on the shoulder.
He then opened the helicopter door and everyone got out one after another. After Javier got off, he saw smoke coming out of the helicopter engine and the surrounding area was pitch black, he couldn't even see his fingers.
"Okay, let's search the area separately. If you see anything, report it on the radio immediately. Don't go too far."
Enrico gave the order.
"I'll stay to fix the helicopter and then radio for backup," Kevin told everyone as he sat in the cockpit. Enrico nodded, and then everyone began to disperse.
Javier took Rebecca with him. Javier held a shotgun in his hand along with a tactical flashlight.
Javier walked in front, while Rebecca followed close behind with a pistol in her hand. The forest was silent, there was no sound except that of their footsteps.
Not long after the two walked away, the beam from Javier's flashlight illuminated a car in front of him. The two quickly approached, and as they got closer, Rebecca was startled by what she saw.
It's a military escort vehicle that overturned in the woods. There are still bodies of several police officers scattered around. "Rebecca, tell the captain."
After Javier finished speaking, he checked the bodies. They had been dead for some time. Javier found a document in the car containing the prisoner's information.
It didn't take long for Enrico and others to arrive here. Javier handed over the information to Enrico: "The prisoner is a former Marine Special Forces Second Lieutenant, Billy Coen. To think this guy actually killed the military police officer and escaped."
After hearing Enrico's words, everyone also cursed Billy. However, Javier knew that these police officers were killed by leeches, there was still a sticky liquid on the car window.
"Everyone has spread out in search of Billy Coen. We must catch this guy and report the situation immediately."
After hearing the order, everyone began to spread out in search of Billy.
Javier continued to lead Rebecca, and the two of them walked forward. At this moment, it started to rain, which made visibility even lower. Soon the two of them found a bright light ahead, so they walked slowly.
Soon the two of them got close. "Why is there a train here?" Rebecca looked at the parked train in confusion. Javier looked at the red train and tightened his grip on the shotgun in his hand.
The rain was getting heavier and heavier. Javier and Rebecca had no choice but to go to the train and wait in the carriage they came from. "Is anyone there? We're the police," Rebecca said after getting on.
Javier picked up the shotgun at this time and walked forward slowly. There was only the sound of the radio in the carriage, and there were a few people lying on the train seats, but they were all motionless.
Rebecca slowly walked over and then saw a scene that horrified her deeply. The person in the seat was dead, and the way he died was… It was simply horrific. His face was rotten, his eyes were bulging, and he was covered in blood.
Javier patted Rebecca and picked up the radio on the ground. At this moment, the corpse in the chair stood up, roared, stretched out his hands, and slowly walked towards the two of them.
This shocked Rebecca. The dead person actually stood up. Such a thing was completely beyond her knowledge. Javier immediately fired and blew the zombie's head off with his shotgun.
At this moment, more and more zombies began to rise, including the dead passengers and conductors. "Shoot them to kill, and remember, shoot them in the head." Javier said to Rebecca.
In an instant, sounds of intense gunfire were heard from inside the carriage, and soon all the zombies were 'killed' by them.
"J-Javier, weren't those people dead?
"It seems these are the 'zombies' that have been appearing in the Arklay Mountains. We need to inform the captain about this immediately."
After Rebecca heard Javier's words, she immediately began to contact Enrico and others.
Javier looked at the rewards he earned after killing zombies. Each zombie gave him one point and one hundred dollars.
"Maybe it's because of the rain. The communicator is malfunctioning, I can't get in touch with the captain and the others."
Rebecca said frustratedly.
"It doesn't matter. I believe the captain and the others will be fine. Find a way to get out of here."
After Javier finished speaking, he was about to leave. After the carriage in front opened, the two of them walked in. There was a room here with a zombie.
After Javier solved the problem with one shot, he found a document on the table in the room, which contained an investigation report and an analysis of the zombie's weaknesses.
Javier handed the document to Rebecca: "I didn't expect these zombies to actually be created by Umbrella. What are these idiots trying to do?"
After reading the document, Rebecca said angrily.
"Let's get out of here first, and then tell the higher-ups to resolve this matter." Rebecca nodded, and the two of them got out of the carriage and continued walking.
The two stopped in front of the door of the driver's room and stopped. Rebecca tried it and found that the door was locked. In the game, you need to find a key to open the door.
Javier didn't waste any time. He shot the lock off the door, kicked the door open, and then the two of them went inside.
The conductor's room was still very clean. It looked like the conductor must have died out there. Javier found a map of the train on the wall and Rebecca found a pistol and some ammunition.
There was also a suitcase, but it was locked. Javier opened it violently. Inside was a magnetic card that seemed to be used to open the door.
Just as the two were studying the map, a figure appeared behind them. Javier immediately became alert and pointed his gun behind him.
"Don't be nervous, I'm not one of those monsters."
Said the man with a gun in his hand, pointing at Javier.
"Billy Coen." Rebecca said.
