Chapter 10: CHAPTER 10: Torture Center
Javier discovered that the statue Billy threw was actually the statue he placed on the scale, but the colors were different. This one was white and his was black.
The three of them drove to the statue of the scales. Javier placed the white statue on it, but the scale was not level, but tilted towards the black statue.
"What should we do? It seems that without the wings, it won't stay level and the passage can't be opened." Rebecca said.
"Don't worry, there should be clues as to where the wings are."
"Let's go to the conference room." After saying that, the three of them went to the conference room and unlocked the password through projection. They only heard a click and the samurai's sword slowly rose. the wall of the conference room.
The iron door that was originally blocking was opened. The three opened the iron door and entered. Inside was a long, narrow corridor. The three advanced. After they turned around, there was a simple wooden door. which seemed like a very interesting style.
The three opened the door. What they saw was a huge chessboard on the floor. The chess pieces were the size of a person.
The three of them walked around the chessboard and went to the table. There was a photo of Dr. Marcus on the table. Javier took it and looked at it: "This should be James Marcus' office."
"There is a dark box on the table," said Rebecca, pointing to the table. Billy took a step forward and fumbled. "It looks like you need to turn on the mechanism to open it."
There was a small chessboard on the table, which matched the one on the floor.
"Billy, follow my instructions and push the big chessboard."
Billy walked over to the large chessboard and began pushing the chessboard as per Javier's instructions.
Javuer took the book and opened it. It was hollow inside and contained the angel's wings. "Okay, now we can open the mechanism."
The three returned in the same way. Javier put the wings on and placed them on the scale again. The portrait below slowly rose, revealing a passage.
The three of them looked at the dark passage, like a huge mouth of abyss, trying to swallow everything. Javier turned on the flashlight and was the first to go down. Rebecca was in the middle, and Billy was last.
The three advanced cautiously. At that moment, Javier saw a huge spider crawling on the wall.
"Damn, how many of these monsters are there? What is Umbrella doing?"
Javier took down the spider with his shotgun. The spider fell to the ground and gave a high-pitched scream. Then two more spiders crawled out.
The three continued advancing and soon found an iron door, but it was locked. The three had no choice but to continue walking, and when they reached the end, there was a wooden door.
The three opened the door and entered. There was a small room with no other exit.
"What should we do?" Billy asked.
"There's a ventilation opening above. Maybe we can get through."
Rebecca pointed up and said.
The opening above was very small. Both Javier and Billy are tall and wouldn't be able to pass. Only Rebecca could pass.
"I can come in and take a look." Rebecca offered.
"So you have to be careful, it could be dangerous." After saying that, he gave ammunition to Rebecca, and then Javier dragged Rebecca and lifted her to the vent.
After Rebecca entered, Han and Long could only wait here. Shortly after, they heard a click, which must have been the sound of a door opening.
"I opened the door. You can enter through the outer door."
After hearing Rebecca's words, the two prepared to leave and join Rebecca.
"Ah! Get away, help! Javier, Billy, help me!" At this moment, Rebecca's cry for help sounded, and Javier and Billy immediately ran outside.
The two walked down the corridor and arrived at the closed iron door. Javuer kicked open the iron door and ran inside. At this moment, Rebecca's cry for help and the roar of a monster were heard in the room.
The two immediately entered, when a monster jumped in front of them. Javuer saw that it was actually a mutant gorilla. At this moment, the gorilla's eyes were red, his teeth were exposed, and there were traces of blood on his body. The gorilla full of rotten wounds roared at the two.
Javier immediately opened fire and took down the gorilla. Then three more gorillas appeared, and Billy also joined him.
After dealing with the gorillas, Javier immediately ran inside. There was a big hole inside and Rebecca's voice sounded from here.
Javier ran, but Rebecca couldn't take it anymore. The moment she released him, Javier reached out and grabbed her, pulling her up.
After Rebecca appeared, she was in shock and sat on the floor panting. Billy also came over and was relieved to see that Rebecca was okay.
Only then did Javier look into the room. There were torture instruments everywhere and dried blood on the floor and on the torture instruments. It seemed like this was a place where prisoners were tortured.
After resting, the three began to explore the place. Inside the torture room, there was an iron door. After the three opened it, they went down the stairs and arrived at an underground corridor.
Water was still dripping from the top of the hallway. The three followed the sound and killed some spiders. Then they reached the end of the corridor, where there was a door.
After the three entered, there was a room above. When they reached the top, there was an animal enclosure similar to a monitoring room, surrounded by several weapons.
The three selected weapons and ammunition and then prepared to leave. Javier walked at the end. After Rebecca and Billy left, Javier placed all the weapons and ammunition in the space.
When the three of them went downstairs, Rebecca's walkie-talkie rang.
"Rebecca, this is Enrico, have you found Billy Coen?"
Rebecca looked at Billy and didn't know how to respond. Javier picked up the walkie-talkie: "Captain, this is Javier speaking. We haven't found Billy Coen." After a few more seconds, Javier hung up.
Billy looked at Javier in surprise: "I don't think you're as cold-blooded as the information shows. You must have something hidden."
