Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 138: The Three Players

What's this... The Powerpuff Girls? Rael's brows twitched as he looked at the sight in front of him.

It was his first time seeing a woman with the name Milf_GattlingGun.

Better yet, the other two were also women.

As for their levels? They were much higher than he expected.

—Karina (Player) [Level 49] [6,200/6,200 HP]

—Asimov (Player) [Level 52] [22,520/22,520 HP]

—Milf_GattlingGun (Player) [Level 60] [49,940/49,940 HP]

"Well, you three got the toys, right?" Rael asked, and all three girls nodded, taking out the tentacle toys with slight disgust.

They tried handing them over to him, but Rael merely shook his head.

"You can keep them, throw them out or sell them. I don't really care—the quest is done."

"Thank god..." Milf_GattlingGun said, tossing the toy into the air and then kicking it toward the crowd of players that had formed.

The players attempted to catch it, likely thinking they'd get the quest completion.

But sadly, that wasn't the case.

Karina and Asimov did the same, tossing theirs into the crowd of players, and finally, Rael felt like they could have a conversation.

"Follow me into the palace," Rael said, and swiftly led the girls inside.

However, the moment he entered the palace's confines, he saw a certain person glaring at him.

"You told me to wait... and I waited... but you never came back!" Aria yelled, pouting.

Oh right... Rael sighed. "Yeah, you can follow me now. I kind of strayed elsewhere after putting Evelyn away."

It was a bit of an oopsie on his part, but it was fine. The only thing she missed was paperwork.

"I don't like you..." Aria muttered, tagging along. "What's with these girls?"

"Baggage, ignore them for the time being," Rael replied, causing the brows of the three players to twitch.

Nonetheless, he guided them all to a room and sat each of them down.

"So like... are we getting the invite thingy now?" Milf_GattlingGun asked, twirling her red hair with her fingers. "Or do you have some other quest or dialogue to give us?"

"I hope not..." Asimov muttered, her eyes trembling. "If not for Karina, then we wouldn't have found those... things in the first place. I don't want any luck-based quests."

In the meantime, Karina remained quiet, almost like she was observing him with those emerald eyes of hers that were slightly obstructed by her black bangs.

Hmm... Rael fell into thought for a moment. Karina seems the smartest, Asimov is the in-between... she's just antisocial. As for the milf, she's talkative, like a bridge for the other two girls.

Basically, the friend without whom the others wouldn't talk much.

Karina cleared her throat, narrowing her eyes at him.

"You seem a little strange for an NPC," she said, then glanced at Aria. "You too. All the others seem more... responsive? You two just do your own things."

"Come on, Karina, you know they don't understand what you're saying," Milf_GattlingGun said with a grin, turning to Rael. "Ain't that right? NPC?"

"You're a blabbermouth," Rael said, furrowing his brows. "You players need to fix your attitude if you want to make it in this world."

Silence hung in the air the moment he finished speaking.

Yet it was obvious that each one of the girls was shocked, especially Karina.

"Players...?" Aria muttered, puzzled. "What's that?"

"They're these travelers," Rael explained, pointing to each one of the girls. "They come from a world that has some kind of remote access to ours. It's a bit strange, and I don't really get it. But yeah, that's the gist of it."

"H-Huh...?" Asimov stood up, nearly lunging over the table. "H-Hey, Rael Sutekh, right? Can I take a picture?"

Rael's brows twitched. "Now why would you want that?"

"She's a streamer," Milf_GattlingGun stated, pointing above Asimov's head. "Do you see this?"

He glanced at what she was pointing at, and for a moment, he wasn't able to see anything.

The more he focused, the stranger the sight became.

It seemed like a miniature camera was floating right above Asimov's head, and if he focused further, he saw a bustling chatroom.

They were all spamming weird emojis, and honestly, he felt his head hurting just from staring at those idiots.

But the moment he blinked, the camera disappeared, replaced by a surprising pop-up.

<Primordial Sight has uncovered a hidden system element!>

<Primordial Sight +500,000 Experience>

Oho... Rael smirked. "A camera? You're actually streaming this?"

"Yeah!" Asimov nodded aggressively, a wide smile on her face. "S-So, can I?"

Rael stared at her for a moment, then sighed. "Sure, why not."

Asimov proceeded to walk over to his side of the table excitedly.

She sat on the table in front of him, hit the peace sign, and then scurried back to her seat.

"Rael..." Aria whispered, a serious look on her face. "Is she... you know... special?"

"Mhm." Rael didn't deny it as he brushed it off and reassessed the girls.

Or rather, only Asimov.

Her shy persona was just something she used during her streams. And she wouldn't hesitate to jump at any opportunity to increase her fame.

He could only guess the other girls were just as special; however, he'd get to know them later.

First and foremost was the quest.

<Quest: [Toy Hunt (Level 1)] Has been finished! Would you like to award the players who participated? Yes/No>

Rael pressed 'Yes,' and selected the highest amount of experience he could simply because it didn't cost him anything.

To his surprise, the limit had increased by a bit since last time.

<Per Player Experience Limit Reached!>

<Rewarding the selected 3 players with: 1,000,000 Experience each!>

"Whoa..." Asimov and Milf_GattlingGun muttered in unison.

As for Karina, she seemed out of it, almost as if she was focused on what he had said earlier.

Rightfully so, he was an anomaly.

"Rael Sutekh, do you believe in fate?" Karina asked, causing the nearby girls to sigh.

Rael shuddered. "Fate? You're not going to try selling me an Ouija board, right?"

Karina's brow twitched. "That's not what I meant. I was thinking you could be our guide. Maybe it was fate that led us here."

"It was my quest that led you here, mate," Rael corrected with a scoff and leaned back in his chair.

"Now then, shall I give you three those invitations?"
