RAGNAROK (PSYCHO MODE)

While people all over the world were running helter skelter, Denzel was busily entering the dungeon that appeared at [Main Street Av.191 ]. In such era when electronic gadgets had become the order of the day, of course there had to be that one insane cameraman who will stay back and make a video about Denzel's crazy moment when he was entering the dungeon. The video was titled, "A Crazy Young man enters a weird portal in Amsterdam". When the video got posted to the internet in no time it blew up and after just 30 minutes it had over 5M views. The video even appeared on the news as one the news anchormen got a hold of the footage. Mr.&Mrs. Rünter we're watching there local news station when they saw the video on the news. Even though the video was blurry, they could tell that the boy in the video was their son, Denzel. The blue tracksuit pants with white strips in them and the black round neck shirt he was wearing when he left the house. Mr.&Mrs. Rünter panicked because they feared for their son's safety. The words of their son earlier that morning came to them and they decided to remain calm. Mr.&Mrs.Rünter decided to trust their son after all he never goes back on his word. Like the time he said he was going hunting for snails in the woods when he was 12 , Denzel got lost for almost five days but came back with the snail he hunted in his hand. When he was sent to the hospital after they found dead snakes and grasscutters in his bag. Denzel was a wild kid. All that was happening fell on deaf ears to Denzel because he was in the dungeon. Inside the dungeon, all connection to the outside world is lost. Denzel was meet with a dark rocky cave when he entered the dungeon. The darkness did not bother him because he had [night vision], which was another skill within the [eye of truth]. Denzel went into a fighting stance as something approached him from the rocky dark opening to the right side of the cave.

~Denzel:- Hey,[ waving ] long time no see. How have you been?

~Goblin 1:- Grrr! Rararara!

~Denzel:- Okay, so you won't return my greetings, that's fine by me.[ His eyes glow red]

From the corner of the cave approached a green short ugly creature with an absurdly long nose with a mole on it. It held a wooden club in it's hand and a sack like cloth which covered only it's groin area.Denzel activated the main ability of [eye of truth].

~Apprasail~

An ability which allows the user to analyze the opponent's level, HP, abilities and other details. It is a very handy skill that Denzel used often in his past life. Denzel appraised the goblin and it's details appeared to him.[ Lesser Goblin lvl.2 HP: 5/5]

~Denzel:- [To himself] I guess my abilities still work the same way. It didn't show much info but this much should do.

Due to Denzel's low level the [appraisal] did not show many details but the higher his level goes the more stats will be revealed to him. The goblin roared and lunged at Denzel with it's club. Denzel dodged left to avoid the strike from the goblin with ease and the goblin's club struck the ground with a thud heaping up a bit of dust from the ground. The goblin swung it's club at Denzel again and again but Denzel just kept on evading it's attacks. Denzel's agile movements were too much for the goblin to handle. The goblin tried it's best to hit Denzel but he was getting any closer to hitting Denzel. No one could blame the poor foolish goblin for he did not know the person he was facing was a 2-time dodgeball regional competition winner. Denzel decided to put the goblin out of his misery because it looked too exhausted and could barely swing the club anymore.

~Denzel:-[bumped out] Is that all you've got...Come on too easy.[He smiles]

Denzel spun his dagger and threw it at the goblin piercing it's head in a single throw. The goblin fell to the ground and it disappeared

[Ping!Ping!]

A system message appeared [Congratulations! You've killed "a lesser goblin" +10EXP]. Denzel's face turned into a grin. Being able to see your progress through "a status window" brought him a certain motivation to continue getting stoner.

[Ping!Ping!]

Another system message appeared [Congratulations! You've become the first human to kill "a lesser goblin" +50EXP]. Denzel's head got filled with infinite possibilities as he read the message. In fact, if he were to continue at this pace he was going to level up at an even faster rate than in his past life. Denzel was the first human on the planet to kill a lesser goblin and as a matching reward he got bonus points for the kill. The noise the goblin from earlier caused alerted more goblins to the area Denzel was in. Denzel's face could not keep his joy hidden. The look on his face was 'ominous'.

~Denzel:- Come at me the more I kill you guys the more EXP I gain.[Evil laughter]

Denzel's loud laughter alerted even more goblins deep in the cave an don't long after a horde of green glowing eyes stared at Denzel from the darkness.

~Denzel:- Oops! Did I disturb you gugs[clutching his dagger in his right hand]

~Goblin 2:- Grrrrr!Raaa!

[Lesser Goblins lvl.2] x10

[Hobgoblins lvl.5] x2

A horde of monsters which included goblins and hobgoblins where attacking Denzel. The odds were against Denzel. Denzel turned the disadvantageous situation around with his "big brain". Denzel pulled out a small container which contained kerosene from his backpack and spilled it in the direction of the monsters. He picked out a match stick from the matchbox he had in his backpocket and lighted it. As the goblins approached closer Denzel dropped the match stick and the goblin's caught on fire through the kerosene. They were all burning up! All the lesser goblins burned to death but the hobgoblins were more resistant to the flames due to their tough green skin and scales. Denzel prepared to engage in combat with the hobgoblins who were more arranged than the lesser goblins. The hobgoblins on the frontline had a thorny club whiles the one at a distance wielded a bow and arrow. Denzel wasn't phased at all. Denzel use the cave walls as a running field because of it's uneven texture. The hobgoblin with the club clashed with Denzel while the other hobgoblin threw ranged attacks whenever it spotted an opening.Their tactics seemed impeccable but Denzel managed to push the front line hobgoblin back with a kick to it's chest and followed it up by piercing it's left eye with his dagger. Denzel proceeded to use the hobgoblin's body as a shield against the other hobgoblin's arrows. The later fired more arrows which consequently pierced through the first hobgoblin and it stopped moving. The other hobgoblin panicked at this sight and threw a careless shot into the darkness. When the hobgoblin regained it's composure the first hobgoblin's body had disappeared and Denzel was nowhere in sight. The hobgoblin held it's bow and arrow tightly as it turned its head around trying to find Denzel.

~Denzel:-[whispers into the hobgoblin's ear] Pickaboo!

[Pierce!]

Denzel appeared behind the hobgoblin using [aura concealment] and pierced it's heart from the back. The hobgoblin groaned as it fell to the ground and disappeared.

[Ping!Ping!Ping!...]

Multiple system messages came flooding in.[Congratulations! You've gone on "a killing spree"+140EXP] [Congratulations!You've achieved a new feat as the first human to kill "a hobgoblin" +100EXP] [Congratulations! You've leveled up +1LVL] [You've gained 10 SP]. Denzel read all the system messages and was extremely thrilled with his fast progress. He had leveled up and gained 10 additional "stat points" which he could place into any of his stats. He decided to focus on [DEX] and [STA] so, he put 5 stat points each into these stats. Denzel could not wait to see how much EXP he will gain when he clears the dungeon.

~Denzel:-[He laughs] Dungeon boss here I come.[ Enters the cave the goblins came from]

Denzel entered the dark cave were the horde of goblins came from and he saw a clearing where the goblins were in their numbers.

~Denzel:-Bingo! I'll take good care of you guys [His eyes glow red]

In the clearing of the cave Denzel saw,"a shaman goblin" and 5 hobgoblins. Denzel immediately knew the main target, the boss of the dungeon, [The Goblin King]. Denzel activated a red discharge around his dagger

~Aura~

AURA is the amount of a person's mana that he or she can easily manipulate or manifest physically. Denzel activated his aura around the dagger and walked out like a champ towards the lion's den before him. The attention of the monsters was quickly drawn to him. The shaman goblin was the first to attack as he threw a green poisonous attack at Denzel. Denzel dodged the attack successfully but when the attack hit the ground it splashed and some spilled on Denzel corroding his kevler vest. Denzel eyes glowed a deeper shade of red as he channeled more aura. Denzel got faster than before and was evading all the attacks. The hobyls run in closer to Denzel trying to use their numbers to their advantage their advantage but to no avail. Denzel dodged every one of their attacks with skill and finesse. Denzel used his (aura dagger) to cut one of the hobgoblin's arm clean off. The hobgoblin's green blood was spilling everywhere. Denzel reached for another hobgoblin and slashed it's neck. Denzel at this point looked more of a monster in the eyes of the monsters. They were paralyzed with fear. One of the hobgoblins tried to flee but Denzel picked up the chain of one of the dead hobgoblins and swung it at the fleeing hobgoblin and tied it's neck up. He swung the hobgoblin around and hit the other two hobgoblins sending them flying into rocks killing them. Denzel finally released the hobgoblin in the chain unti a sharp- edged rock which pierced through it. All the hobgoblins died in gruesome ways and disappeared leaving only blood stains behind. Denzel was ruthless. The shaman goblin acknowledged Denzel's strength and pointed it's staff at him . The shaman goblin began to cast incantations and spells. Denzel knew from his past life how tricky shamans can be and how weak they also were. To defeat a shaman you'd need just a single lethal attack since their high attacking prowess gave a low defensive ability. The shaman goblin threw a poison blast at Denzel but Denzel was not going to fall for the same trick twice he evaded it easily. The shaman continuously attacked Denzel at a decent speed which kept Denzel on his toes. The shaman mad an incantation for a very large attack. These few seconds bought Denzel enough time for him to close the gap between him and the shaman and in just the nick of time when the shaman's attack was nearly ready....

~Aura Slash~

Denzel slashed the shaman's staff into two destroying it. Denzel frowned, his attack was meant to slice the shaman's neck but at the last moment the shaman leaned backwards. The shaman was now without a weapon but still was not backing down. It activated a stronger green poisonous energy around it hands and attacked Denzel. Denzel's fast agile movements helped him avoid the attack and he followed it up with another aura skill.

~Aura Burst~

It is a skill used to concentrate aura at a certain part of the body. Denzel applied it to his feet and dashed towards the shaman goblin. His speed was too much for the shaman goblin who could not react in time and he was decapitated. The shaman goblin's head rolled along the ground as blood spilled from his neck pouring everywhere. Denzel shook his dagger to get the green blood off it.

The goblin King was also making move. Denzel turned towards the direction of the Goblin King who was seated on his throne made of bones. The king was about 2m talk towering above Denzel even when seated. The king rose to his feet and spoke to Denzel.

~Goblin King:-Player 9,999,999 , I've been waiting for you..[In a deep shaky voice]

Denzel could not make sense of what was happening, goblins who could barely make logic of their living could understand human speech let alone speak it. Denzel knew something was off but he decided to play along.

~Goblin King:- In order for us to have a proper conversation you have to use [Psycho mode]. The ability a regressor such as you possess."The caution...."

~Manipulation~

The goblin King seemed a little different from before. His eyes now glowed red which was different from it's prior blue color. Denzel had seen such manipulation from his past life before but in such incidences the caster to the manipulation must be nearby but for this one the caster was not even within the dungeon. Denzel knew that whoever spoke through the Goblin King had something to do with his regression. Denzel had no time to ponder on the message he just received because he had more problems to deal with. The Goblin King with his huge longsword swung at Denzel. Denzel evaded the attack by jumping over the blade . While Denzel was still in the air the Goblin King punched him. Denzel was sent flying into a rock. For the first time after his regression Denzel was bleeding, blood was flowing from his mouth and nose.

~Denzel:-Not bad at all [He grins] Now it's my turn [Aura Burst]

Denzel applied the aura to his legs & arms including his dagger. He went on a rampage.The Goblin King's head was just turning around because it could not keep up with Denzel's movement. A cut on the shin of "the king", his chest, his back, Denzel was just to fast for the Goblin King to keep up . Despite Denzel's crazy speed he wasn't able to deal any crazy damage to "the king".[Goblin King lvl.7][HP:39/70]. Denzel's aura was depleting and he had to think fast to defeat the "Goblin King". The king went into a [Frenzy] and started attacking haphazardly, destroying the cave . Denzel remembered about a certain skill he could use in this situation

~X-ray Vision~

Another ability of the [eye of truth] that enables the user to see through opaque objects. Denzel activated the skill and to his luck the skill activated and he found the Goblin King's 'mana core'. It was around the upper chest area. Denzel decided to end things in a single shot.

~Aura Pierce~

Denzel shaped his aura in the shape of a needle around his dagger and dashed at the frenzied Goblin King. Denzel evaded all the stray attacks and delivered the finishing blow piercing the goblin King's heart (mana core).The King fell to the ground with a huge shockwave but before he disappears.

~Goblin King:- T-a-k-e T-h-i-s [in a dying tone]

The Goblin King reached out his giant hand towards Denzel and gave him a red and black mask. For some reason Denzel felt drawn to the mask and he leaned closer and he took the mask . The Goblin King disappeared and the system messages came flooding in.

[Ping!Ping!Ping!.....]

[Congratulations! You've gained a huge amount of EXP,+1080EXP] [Congratulations! You've become the first human to slay "a shaman goblin" +300EXP][Congratulations! You've become the first human to slay a "Goblin King" +500EXP] [You've leveled up]x3 [You've obtained " The Shaman's Cloak"(E-rank)] [You've obtained "The Goblin King's Longsword (D-rank)]. Denzel had just cleared the dungeon and was waiting for the confirmation message. He turned around and realized that a lesser goblin survived and was hiding behind a rock. He sneaked up to it and killed it swiftly

[Congratulations! You've cleared the dungeon +1000EXP] [Congratulations! You're the first human to achieve this feat +1500EXP]. The experience was jusing raining in for Denzel and he could not get enough of it. He still held on to the red and black mask in his hand and didn't really think about it. Denzel decided to appraise the mask and he discovered something exciting.

~Denzel:-[He smiles] Now that's badass! [staring at the mask]
