Race Around the World

Half the racers turned their cars into motorcycles the next day while the other half kept theirs as cars. Just before Lacey shot off the starting pistol, The Catcycle, The Flamecycle, and The Staticcycle all teamed up and became a motorcycle gang. Joseph held onto Chris while Chris drove, Sam grabbed James while James steered, Timi grabbed Hillery while Hillery operated the motorcycle, Lauren grabbed Brad while Brad worked their bike, and Marva held onto Chyna while Chyna sted. Lacey shot off the starting pistol when all the racers lined up, and The Catcycle drove off since they won a head start. The other racers waited 60 seconds for their head start to be over before they could race. The Catcycle drove through Ohio for as long as they could. While Chris operated the motorcycle, Joseph looked around and saw the sites. Once their head start was over, Stephanie shot the starting pistol off, and all the racers raced after The Catcycle.

The Staticcycle is in 2nd, The Flamecycle is in 3rd, and The Flower Truck is in 4th and is closing in on the bikers, but then the bikers speeded up their motorcycles and ditched The Flower Truck. The Confetti Convertible is in 5th, and when they looked out their side window, they saw the other racers catching up behind them. Valerie said, "Time for some funny business from us." Valerie pushed a button in their car, and a gun came out of their trunk. Then Valerie pressed another button and shot bubbles at all the racers behind them. All the racers shielded themselves with their arms, but they got blinded by the bubbles, and Team Confetti left laughing. Then, all the racers who got hit with Team Confetti's bubbles started to laugh. Hope said, "Did we just laugh? Haha." Nichole said, "Yes, haha, but why?" Then everyone who got hit stopped their cars and bikes and got out of and off them. Then they grouped and started to laugh together. Brad said, "Why are we laughing? Haha." Lauren thought about it for a minute while she laughed and remembered Serena and Valerie shot bubbles at them that blinded them. Lauren said, "Those bubbles. They must have been giggle bubbles. Haha."

Lacey and Stephanie saw the racers laughing on the track on their TV screen. Lacey said, "What's this? Everyone from 6th to last has stopped. And they're all having a group laugh. It looks like they'd rather do funny business than racing business." Team Confetti was also laughing. Stephanie said, "What's this? Team Confetti is laughing and high-fiving each other." Serena said, "A masterpiece of professionalism, Valerie. Job well done." Valerie said, "Anything that will keep those fools laughing and not racing." Serena said, "Now, if we can get past this one car and the motorcycle gang, we'll be in the lead."

Everyone from 1st-5th is headed out of Ohio and is heading into Indiana. The Staticcycle and The Flamecycle then caught up with The Catcycle, and they all drove together in a motorcycle gang. The Catcycle is still in the lead, The Staticcycle is in 2nd, and The Flamecycle is in 3rd. Joseph said, "This is perfect. With all of us in a motorcycle gang, one of us should win." The Flower Truck is in 4th, and The Confetti Convertible is in 5th. The Speed Canoe is in 6th, The Seashellcycle is in 7th, The Combocycle is in 8th, The Wave Train is in 9th, and The Dragon Wagon is in last. Hope said, "OK, everyone, we got to control ourselves. Everyone else is getting away, and we're falling behind. Hahaha." Everyone from 6th-last got back in the race and tried to stop laughing.

The Confetti Convertible is neck and neck with The Flower Truck in 4th. The Speed Canoe is in 6th, and when they saw The Seashellcycle catching up with them, Hope threw a tin can out of their car, and the can she threw landed in Team Wave's car. Mariah said, "What's this?" Mariah opened the can, and many paper snakes flew out and threw them off course for a minute. When Team Canoe saw their prank work, they laughed hard. The Wave Train was still in 9th and tried to take the lead without laughing.

The bikers were still in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, but The Flower Truck was close behind. Then, all the bikers did a wheelie, drove on one wheel, and then went faster when they operated on two wheels again. Then they ditched The Flower Truck by a mile, but The Flower Truck tried to catch them. The Confetti Convertible is in 5th, and after they passed The Flower Truck, they tried to get by the motorcycle gang. They got by The Flamecycle and The Staticcycle, but Chris ate a banana while driving, threw the peel off their bike, and The Confetti Convertible slipped on it. Then, both The Staticcycle and The Flamecycle passed The Confetti Convertible and caught up with The Staticcycle. The Wave Train was 9th, but they flipped a switch in their car and activated the drill setting. Then they dug under the track, passed all the racers, and put themselves in the lead when they drilled up to the surface.

The racers are racing through Indiana and heading into Illinois. Katie said, "2 states down, 6 to go." Mary said, "We must pass the motorcycle gang and The Wave Train. If we do, we'll be in the lead." Team Flower hit the gas, circled the motorcycle gang, and took 2nd place. The Dragon Wagon is last, but they got by The Combocycle and put themselves in 9th. Once Brad and Lauren saw Allison and Dory, they threw pies in their faces and threw them off course. While Allison and Dory were blinded, Brad and Lauren laughed at them, and The Combocycle passed them. After Brad and Lauren finished laughing, they tried to stop but couldn't because of the giggle bubbles. Brad said, "Must control laughter. Haha." Lauren said, "Must control funny bone. Haha." The Speed Canoe is in 7th, and when they saw The Seashellcycle coming, Nichole threw a bottle out of their car. Lauren caught it, but then they threw it off their motorcycle, and Marva caught it. Once she had it, the bottle exploded, sliming Team Combo and their bike. Then Hope and Nichole laughed at them. When they finished laughing, they tried to stop but couldn't because of the giggle bubbles. The Dragon Wagon is in last, but they hit the turbo boost button in their car, drove past The Combocycle, The Seashellcycle, and The Speed Canoe, and took 7th place.

The racers are leaving Illinois and are heading into Iowa. The Wave Train is in the lead, but the motorcycle gang passed The Flower Truck in 2nd and tried to pass The Wave Train. When Team Wave saw the bikers, they threw paint balloons and wanted to throw them off the track. Chris said, "Split up." The Catcycle kept heading straight towards The Wave Train, The Staticcycle went to the left and tried to circle The Wave Train from the left, and The Flamecycle went to the right and tried to get around The Wave Train from the right. Once they split up, the paint balloons Team Wave threw at them hit the road instead. Lacey said, "What's this? The three teams that made a motorcycle gang have split up and are trying to get by The Wave Train from different directions."

The Combocycle is last, but Marva shot water at everyone from 9th-6th. While they were spraying everyone, they laughed hard and took 6th place. They couldn't stop laughing because of Team Confetti's giggle bubbles when they finished. Chyna said, "OK, we got to control ourselves." Marva said, "Right. We got to stop with the silliness." Chyna said, "If only there were an antidote to these giggles." The Confetti Convertible was in 7th and saw Team Combo was still under the power of their giggle bubbles. Valerie said, "The giggle bubbles are still working." Serena said, "So, we have to make them laugh, and we can pass them. Can you get closer to them?" Valerie said, "No problem." Valerie hit the gas and drove next to The Combocycle. Then Serena and Valerie put on funny glasses and looked at Team Combo. Valerie's glasses had eyeballs with springs that dropped, and Serena's were green with spinning twirls. They laughed once Chyna and Marva saw them, and The Confetti Convertible passed them.

The Dragon Wagon is 8th, but they flipped a switch in their car and activated their turbo speed. Once they did, they passed everyone from 7th to 2nd and took 2nd place. The Seashellcycle is in last and was catching up with the other racers. Once they did, they got by everyone from 9th-6th and took 6th place. The Flower Truck was in 7th, and when they saw The Seashellcycle in front of them, Katie hit the gas, passed The Seashellcycle, and took 6th place. The Speed Canoe is last and is trying to catch up with the other racers, but everyone is too far out in front for them to catch. Once they arrived in Nebraska, they stopped at their hotel and checked in. Then they went to the nearest restaurant and had their dinner there. When they finished eating, they saw the sun going down, so they returned to their hotel and slept there for the night.

While they were there, Team Wave gathered everyone affected by the giggle bubbles. Once assembled, Team Wave told them they had to find a way to stop their giggles, or they would lose the race. Allison thought about it and got an idea. Allison said, "I think I know one way. Follow me." Everyone affected by the giggle bubbles followed Allison to the food court, and when they got there, Allison took some onions and sliced them. Then their smell made Team Wave, Team Dragon, Team Seashell, Team Combo, and Team Canoe cry. Then Allison put the onions back where she found them, and they stopped tearing. Once they did, they didn't feel like laughing at all. Allison said, "I think it worked. I don't feel like laughing anymore." Corey said, "Me either." Hope said, "Me either." Brad said, "Hmm. Guess it worked." After they stopped their giggles, they returned to their hotel rooms and went to bed.
