Chapter 160 160:Harvesting Leech
The desert sun casted its golden rays over the vast expanse of sand, painting the landscape in hues of warmth and tranquility.
Amidst this serene backdrop, Roland and his new girlfriend Stefanie found themselves immersed in playful bliss, their laughter mingling with the gentle rustle of the desert breeze.
After his childhood love cheated on him, the heavens blessed him with a sign in the system that showered him with countless riches and money.
From nobody, he had become a great businessman who had a great standing in Elysium.
Except for a few troubles, he felt like a King who could do anything anywhere but despite this, it was hard for him to find a loyal beautiful girl.
He came across many women who fell in love at first sight but all of them were taken away by an annoying playboy brat son of a bitch but it seems the heavens weren't that cruel as there was someone who managed to resist that guy's seduction temptation and that is how he managed to get himself an otherworldly beautiful loving yet naughty girl.
With bare feet sinking into the soft sand, Roland chased Stefanie in a game of tag, their carefree spirits dancing in harmony with the rhythm of the soft wind blowing across the desert.
They laughed as they stumbled and tumbled, their playful banter echoing across the dunes.
"Naughty girl, don't let me catch you otherwise I am gonna spank your ass until you reach the shore."
"You dare, "Stefanie teased him with a glare and kept running.
As they paused to catch their breath, Stefanie collapsed onto the sand, her laughter ringing out like music in the desert air. Roland grinned, his eyes alight with joy as he joined her, the two of them lying side by side, gazing up at the vast expanse of sky above.
At that moment, time seemed to stand still as they savored the simple pleasure of each other's company. The desert stretched out before them, a canvas of endless possibility, and they were content to bask in its beauty together.
But this beautiful moment was shattered by the sudden appearance of a figure on the horizon. Roland's brow furrowed in confusion as he sat up, squinting against the glare of the sun to get a better look.
Stefanie's playful expression turned to one of curiosity as she followed Roland's gaze, her hand instinctively reaching for him as they watched the figure draw nearer. There was something ominous about the stranger's approach, a sense of foreboding that sent a chill down Roland's spine.
As the figure drew closer, Roland and Stefanie exchanged a wary glance, their playful mood giving way to a growing sense of unease.
"You!" Roland's voice quivered as he saw a lone figure stepping over the sand with a sinister smile.
"Seph!"Steafine voice quivered.
"SEPHHHH!What are you doing here?"He screamed in frustration. Since the past month, his plans had always been foiled by this son of bitch who took away his first love who died later that day.
He was even accused of killing her but thankfully, the system awakened protecting him from the crisis.
Later, this asshole took all the girls he sat his sight on as if competing with him in the contest of wooing girls.
"We meet again, Roland."Seph grinned.
"What are you doing here?"Roland gritted his teeth and raised his strength.
From the system, he had brought Superhuman potions. He was now powerful enough to lift cars in one hand and destroy concrete with a punch.
"You think you have become something by taking the Superhuman potion alas you are wrong, "Seph answered with a sigh, and then startling Roland, his figure disappeared.
As the chaos unfolded around them, Roland's senses sharpened his focus solely on protecting Stefanie. But before he could react, a sudden force knocked him to the ground, sending waves of pain through his body.
"Stefanie!" he cried out, scrambling to his feet, only to find Seph standing over her.
Stefanie's body lying under Seph feet wriggled in pain with foams emerging from her mouth.
"You!" Roland seethed, his voice trembling with anger and desperation. "What have you done to her?!"
Seph's gaze met Roland's with an unsettling calmness. "I've merely ensured she won't be in our way. Just a small shock."
Rage surged within Roland, fueling his determination to confront this man who had invaded his life, stolen his peace, and now, seemingly, taken his girlfriend.
"You think you can just walk in here and take what's mine?" Roland spat, his voice laced with defiance. "I won't let you get away with this!"
"You took away Alice, then you took all others...Now you are eyeing Stefanie. M*thefucker why are you taking away everything when I don't have any enmity with you?"
"Guard…."Roland screamed to call over the security guards given by the system.
"Don't waste time by calling them. I have already sent them to the heavens."
"How?"
Septh expression remained unchanged, a mask of indifference as he regarded Roland. "You don't need to know and you have no idea what you're dealing with, Roland. But if you insist on resisting, I won't hesitate to eliminate you."
With each word, Seph's Aura seemed to intensify, radiating power that Roland could scarcely comprehend. But despite the overwhelming odds, Roland refused to back down.
He would fight to protect Stefanie, even if it meant facing this formidable enemy head-on that is what he thought.
'No, I can't defeat him.'
'Run…If I stay alive I can have revenge later with my system.'
Propelling his strength into his legs, he lurched on the sand but then a power force hit him from the back plunging him up in the air and then on the sand.
BOOM!
"What a Coward!Running away as long as you fall into sight advantage.Stefanie would be disappointed.'
'I can use that power to defeat him but it will take away a bit of my life span but fuck let's do that.'
As Seph appeared before, Roland, who lay on the ground like a statue, suddenly made a move.
Roland's body grew stronger and larger and in his hand a mysterious power. His eyes glowed crimson and he exploded the power coursing inside him.
[Demon Fury.]
An apocalyptic sound erupted, echoing through the cold desert, a harbinger of destruction.
Surrounded by debris, falling like snow, Roland panted heavily, kneeling amidst the crystallized sand particles.
He had gambled everything on this explosion, using all his Aura, and it had paid off. His enemy, the man who had underestimated him was now nowhere to be seen.
As relief washed over him, Roland closed his eyes, seeking a moment's rest. Weakness assaulted him after he used that power.
But his peace shattered when a voice, tinged with amusement, pierced the silence.
"Interesting little trick you used there, Mr. Roland."
Fear gripped Roland as he heard the voice. Trembling, he dared not turn to face his enemy, Seph, knowing the man stood unscathed behind him.
"How..." Roland's voice was weak, barely a whisper.
Seph chuckled and moved "My apologies, but that's an answer you'll never receive."
BANG!
A shockwave stifled the sand, and Roland's body bounced hitting the sand just as he stepped, Seph appeared over him and punched him.
BOOOM!
A cloud of dust and sand shook everything and as it dispersed, Roland lay on the ground coughing blood.
A tear escaped Roland's eye, tracing a path down his cheek. This time, there was no power to mask the pain in his eyes.
"I never stood a chance, did I?" Roland's words held resignation, not seeking validation.
"Now you understand," Seph replied with a smile, his presence a looming shadow over Roland's defeat.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
A scream pierced through drawing the two attention.
A look of shock flashed on Seph's face as he saw Stefanie getting on her feet and staggering towards them.
"Huh? How did you wake up?"
"STOP!"
"Please don't kill him."
Walking slowly, she reached towards the spot and kneeled before Seph.
"I will do everything you want as you said but don't kill him."
"Girl, do you know this man tried to escape leaving you?"Seph asked with an amused expression.
"He was doing the right thing and you please have a bigger heart and let him go. He will never appear before you again and you can take me as your slave."
"No Stef…Don't sell yourself."Roland roared with bloodshot eyes.
His heart was burnt with pain seeing his love kneeling and begging down to save him.
Seph took a moment to look at the two and then at the woman. She was the first woman who managed to resist his charm and didn't fall for his tricks until it had come to this and Seph knew that once he had his way with her all this fragile resistance and unwillingness would go away but…
'An intrigued specimen alas…'
"Sorry, you have your chances. I don't use second-hand goods.''With these words, Seph hands moved like lightning.
"NOOOO!"
"STOPPP!"
A scream escaped from Stefanie and Roland before Roland's mind began to numb. The last thing he saw before succumbing to eternal rest was Seph's hand, tearing through his chest and blasting his heart into shreds.
