Chapter 1: Hachimitsu Academy
People's lives in modern Japan have changed dramatically, or not at all. But what is clear is that men and women still place a high value on honor, and this initiative aims to build a large number of private schools in every region of Japan.
Many private schools are designed specifically for girls rather than boys because society believes that boys are the root of all problems. As in many previous cases, the majority of immoral acts committed in schools are committed by boys who are unable to control their youthful desires.
Of course, there are exceptions on the part of women, but society and the majority of women believe that they are more concerned about their future than silly things like dating. As a result of what happens in reality, it will be extremely difficult to find girls with the same passionate lust as boys in their youth.
Hachimitsu Academy is one of the private girls' schools that still adheres to traditional rules. This school is not your average private school because it is located in Tokyo's Nerima Ward. With a student cohort of 1021 students, the Chairman is in charge. In 1961, the school was built as a high-ranking sports academy and boarding school for elite young women.
In 2011, for whatever reason, the current principal abruptly changed the traditional curriculum that Hachimitsu Academy had followed since its inception by allowing male enrollment.
The principal faced a barrage of abuse and insults from the school board and students' parents, and he was even threatened with dismissal, but whether by miracle or not, his firm stance eventually paid off.
Today, on this bright and beautiful spring day, I finally attended the long-awaited new school year student acceptance ceremony. The sight of the shady green trees that surrounded the school helped to calm my heart, especially since the spring air was so refreshing that a smile never left my face.
"Hachimitsu Academy, I hope to find something interesting in this place."
Before that, I was just an ordinary high school student, and my family could also be described as ordinary. There was nothing special in my life until one morning when I received a letter informing me that I had passed my entrance exam.
*whispers
*whispers
I faintly heard someone whispering when I was lost in the atmosphere, and for some reason, I thought they were talking about me. So when I looked around, all the girls exclaimed, and most of their cheeks flushed, so I knew they weren't talking about something negative about me, but rather the opposite.
"I haven't seen any other male students besides myself. Where have they gone? Did I enroll in the wrong school?" I muttered, a little worried, because the majority of the students who gathered around me and entered the gate were women.
"Is this really Hachimitsu Academy?" I dared to ask one of the group of female students.
"kyaaa... this male student is talking to me, what should I do?"
I could only stand there with a little shock on my face at this female student's overreaction because I was certain I had given a polite smile before asking with no other intention.
While waiting for the woman to come back to her senses, her friends did not stop encouraging her as if this was a declaration of love that attracted more attention from other female students.
"umm, sorry, this is the first time I've talked to a guy my age..."
"It's okay. This is also the first time I've talked to a girl my age… so…"
This female student, just like her friends, looked surprised, and while all her friends became curious, she only became more embarrassed. Still, she remembered my question, which was a huge relief because it saved me from repeating myself and prolonging this conversation.
"Did you inquire about Hachimitsu Academy?... yes, this is the place. are you a new student as well?"
'Is she, like me, a new enrollment student?... I'm a little confused. The female student uniforms I've seen in this short time all look the same. I think I'll have a hard time getting used to this,' I thought, and before the situation became complicated, I said goodbye and hurriedly entered the gate.
"I forgot to ask where the new student acceptance ceremony building is located... *sigh... there's no way I'm late just because of this."
I found more female students inside the school environment, which I could tell by their uniforms, but I was more impressed by the vast view of this school environment, with its large field and large building in the middle surrounded by forest.
The girls' uniform at Hachimitsu Academy consists of a camel blazer over a white, long-sleeved, plain button-down shirt, a red lace cravat on the collar, a red plaid school skirt, and black dress loafers. Some girls wear a cream jumper over their shirts instead of the school blazer.
My appearance stands out in contrast to my men's uniform, which consists of a blue blazer over a white, long-sleeved, plain button-down shirt, a black tie on the collar, matching black trousers, and black dress shoes.
"Hey, new student! What are you doing wandering around here? If you cause trouble on your first day at Hachimitsu Academy, I will request that you be expelled immediately!"
