Chapter 16: Chapter 16: The Fight of Legends

Lady Nagant Turns the Tide

The streets of the city were a battlefield, chaos reigning as Nomus rampaged through the crowds. Lady Nagant perched on a rooftop, her sharp eyes scanning for her next target. She had already eliminated several Nomus, but the seemingly endless waves made the battle feel hopeless.

She took aim at another creature, her sniper rifle steady in her hands. This time, she aimed for its head, squeezing the trigger. The shot rang out, and the Nomu collapsed instantly, its exposed brain obliterated.

Her eyes widened. That was too easy.

She quickly pieced it together. The head... their exposed brains are their weakness. Without wasting a moment, she opened the hero group chat, her fingers flying over the screen.

All Might says these creatures aren't human, so you can kill them. Aim for their heads—it's their weakness.

The message spread like wildfire, reaching every hero still in the fight. Those who had been struggling to bring down the Nomus now shifted their tactics, their blows aimed with precision at the creatures' heads.

Across the city, the tide of battle turned. Nomus fell one after another, their monstrous forms crumbling as the heroes worked in unison.

Lady Nagant reloaded her rifle, taking another shot. As the Nomu in her sights fell, she muttered, "Stay strong, Toshinori. We'll finish up here and come to you."

Endeavor Raids the HPSC

While the city's streets were engulfed in chaos, Endeavor stormed the HPSC headquarters alongside a squad of police officers. His flames blazed as he led the charge, his presence clearing a path through the building's hallways.

The officers methodically arrested every HPSC employee they encountered, their hands cuffing secretaries, enforcers, and administrators alike. Endeavor's focus, however, was singular.

He reached the president's office, his fiery aura illuminating the corridor. Without hesitation, he blasted the door open, the metal hinges melting away under the heat.

The HPSC president stood at his desk, his face twisted in fury. "What is the meaning of this?!" he bellowed.

Endeavor stepped forward, his flames flickering. "It's over."

The president struggled as officers restrained him, his rage boiling over. "You're all going to pay for this!" he screamed.

As the president was dragged away, Endeavor watched silently, his expression unreadable. He clenched his fists, his flames dimming slightly. This is the right thing to do, he thought, his resolve unwavering.

All Might Arrives

The helicopter's rotors whirred as it approached the remote island, the shimmering waves of the ocean below reflecting the evening sun. All Might sat quietly, staring at the distant landmass with a grim expression.

As the helicopter hovered above the island's edge, he stepped out, the wind whipping at his cape. Behind him, the helicopter lifted off, retreating to a safe distance to avoid the coming destruction.

All Might walked toward the center of the island, each step deliberate. The dense foliage gave way to a clearing, where a single figure stood, waiting.

All For One.

The villain's towering form was bathed in the golden light of sunset, his mask gleaming ominously.

"All Might," All For One said, his voice smooth and mocking. "You've arrived. Ready to play the hero one last time? Here to defeat the big bad?"

All Might scoffed, his fists clenching. "Cut the games. What are you planning now?"

All For One chuckled. "Oh, no games, I assure you. But I must admit, you've intrigued me. How did you do it? How have you managed to ruin my plans at every turn? It's almost as if you know the future."

All Might froze for a moment before a smirk spread across his face. "You want to know the truth?"

"Please," All For One said, spreading his arms theatrically. "Enlighten me."

All Might's smirk grew wider. "I'm not from this world. In my world, you're nothing more than a character in a story I read."

All For One's eyes narrowed behind his mask, but curiosity glinted in his voice. "Fiction, you say? And how does this 'story' go?"

"With the hero winning, of course," All Might said, his smirk unwavering.

All For One clapped slowly, his tone dripping with amusement. "So, I lose to you?"

"Yes," All Might replied.

All For One's laughter echoed across the clearing. "How fascinating. To think I'm merely a piece on someone else's board. But it doesn't matter." He stepped forward, his aura radiating malice. "Because today, I'll write a new ending. You die here, All Might."

All Might's smile faded, replaced by a fierce determination. "I'd like to see you try."

The Clash of Titans

The two charged at each other, their fists meeting with a thunderous impact. The ground beneath them cracked and splintered, shockwaves rippling outward.

All Might's blows were swift and powerful, each punch carrying the force of a hurricane. All For One countered with his array of quirks, matching him strike for strike. The air around them became a maelstrom of energy, their attacks creating wind pressures so intense that nothing within 50 kilometers could withstand it.

The world itself seemed to react to their battle. The ground trembled violently, earthquakes rippling not only across Japan but to distant shores. In cities far from the fight, skyscrapers swayed, and people fled into the streets in panic.

The World Watches

In the midst of the chaos, a news helicopter approached the island, its camera zooming in on the battle from a safe distance. The feed was broadcasted live to the entire world, capturing the clash of the century.

Across the globe, people gathered around screens, their faces filled with awe and terror. From Tokyo to New York, from bustling cities to quiet villages, the fight dominated every broadcast.

Children clung to their parents. Adults whispered prayers. Even hardened soldiers and leaders paused, their gazes fixed on the screens.

The Heroes Rally

Back in the city, Lady Nagant aimed her rifle and fired another precise shot, dropping another Nomu. She felt the ground trembling beneath her feet, the vibrations of All Might's battle resonating even here.

She shouted to the other heroes, "We need to finish this quickly and help All Might!"

Endeavor landed beside her, his flames roaring as he incinerated a group of Nomus. "Agreed. Let's end this now."

With their combined efforts and newfound knowledge of the Nomus' weakness, the heroes began to overwhelm the remaining creatures.

Realization Amid the Chaos

On the island, as the battle raged, All Might began to notice something troubling. His strength was evenly matched with All For One's. Despite his best efforts, he couldn't gain the upper hand.

Why? he thought, dodging another devastating blow. In the original timeline, I was stronger than him in my prime.

Then it hit him. This fight wasn't supposed to happen for another nine years. By then, I would have cultivated One For All to a much greater extent. But now...

His determination burned brighter. It doesn't matter. I'll find a way. I have to.

As the battle continued, the world watched, holding its collective breath. The fate of hero society, and perhaps the entire world, hung in the balance.

The chapter ended with the image of All Might and All For One locked in combat, their blows shaking the earth as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the battlefield in an ominous twilight.
