President Qin’s Little Wife Is The Strongest

Chapter 203: Picking Her Major

Rong Yue sent his work information to Fox Alliance.

[Check for this person's real identity and give me all the details about him]

After sending the message, she left the app and hacked into the school that the kids attended.

She searched around and confirmed that there was no new staff or student after the kids had been enrolled; only then did she feel a little better.

Xu Ning's full capabilities weren't known by the organisation yet. They were most likely targeting her because of what she knew.

Even then, she didn't know much by this time, so she didn't think this was a problem.

The sooner she allowed someone to get close to her, the better it was for her.

Rong Yue called her back.

"Sister Ning, I think you should allow him to get close to you gradually. Let him know that you only know little and that you think your uncle was captured because he stole some funds he shouldn't have touched."

"Okay, I understand. I'll go out for a drink with him next week."

"Also, congratulations on your result." Xu Ning added after a while.

The first time, she was too worried about giving anything away, but she knew that the call was safe since it was Rong Yue that called.

"Hmmm, thank you."

There was not much to say between them, and Rong Yue ended the call.

"Lu San made a trip to City A. I think something related to the ongoing construction,"

Rong Yue checked through her phone, Lu San was the type to keep her updated on every matter, and she soon saw the message.

[Young Miss, some matter came up regarding the construction, I'll head over there now to have a look.]

[Okay, please let me know if anything goes out of hand.]

Rong Yue also thought about going back home. She had rushed back here because of the matter regarding the competition and then because of Infinity.

Wu Hao, on the other hand, went back as soon as they finished with the award back then.

Her eyes fluttered close a little as she was lost in thought.

School was going to start soon, in a month. She had yet to decide on which school. Also, her major was still undecided.

Irritation flashed through her narrowed eyes as she thought about everything that she needed to do.

Public launching for Infinity was three weeks while school was starting in one month.

There was only one week between them and she also wanted to go home.

She hadn't spent time with her mother in a while and she would barely have the time if school started. Not only did she plan to spend time on research, she also had to pay attention to Infinity. And the Fox Alliance also.

"I think I would go home also," she told him as she stood up, slinging her backpack on one shoulder.

Qin Yichen stood up almost immediately, his figure towering over her.

"Mother keeps refusing to visit the hospital. I want to try one more time before I go to college." Now she had the money. More than enough money.

But she was also afraid that if she pushed too much, she would hurt her mother. After all, she didn't want to directly say she had some mental regression, right?

Also, in the last few months, her mother had gotten better little by little, making her feel like it was a miracle that came with her rebirth.

Perhaps, it was heaven's way of compensating her.

From the look on her face, Qin Yichen could tell that she was feeling guilty. And it made his heart ache even more for her.

He really wanted to tell her about what he had discovered, but he knew that it might cause a rift in their relationship.

Even then, he had increased surveillance on her mother. He was determined to know if there was any lurking threat that would affect Rong Yue.

"You can tell her that you want a full checkup with her. I can arrange matters for that,"

Rong Yue nodded in understanding and then mumbled her thanks.

She knew that he didn't like to hear it, so she didn't say it loud enough.

By the time they entered inside the house, the housekeeper and all the day staff had all finished for the day. The huge mansion was empty and made Rong Yue a little uncomfortable.

"What of my little Darling? Won't he come back anytime soon?" Things were often better with him there, and Rong Yue always felt happier just by looking at his jade-like face.

"His specialists said it was time for another checkup to be sure of how well he is doing?"

"Is he sick?" She stopped in her tracks as she was a little worried.

"My parents and the specialist think that he's on the autistic spectrum. They are not clear on what level he is at…"

"They need to know so that they can create a suitable management plan," Qin Yichen added.

In addition, he wanted to spend more time with her without Qin Heng fighting for her attention.

Rong Yue's face scrunched up in a frown as she thought about her little darling.

With how they interacted, she didn't think that he was autistic.

"Are you sure the diagnosis is right?"

Qin Yichen's lips curled up with a smile as he heard her words. He also had a similar opinion and felt that his younger brother was just too lazy to be bothered about speaking.

Also, he didn't like to relate with people his age as he felt their IQ was too low.

"You can't advise a worried parent," Qin Yichen replied, and Rong Yue nodded in understanding.

If his mother felt he was abnormal, it was hard to make her think otherwise.

💕💕💕💕💕

The days passed very quickly, and with Qin Yichen's help, the news about Rong Yue started to die out.

Her screen time had been little, and he had also influenced the spread of the videos. So while some people knew that she was a stunning beauty, the news didn't circulate.

Also, Rong Yue didn't try to ride the wave, and she didn't even have an account that people could follow.

With all of these, the news died out in about three days.

People would talk about it amongst themselves on very few occasions, but the focus was always more on Tong Yang and less attention was paid to Rong Yue.

Dressed in black pants and a hoodie, Rong Yue came downstairs to meet the familiar trio.

It was no longer new that Cao Huo would report here early in the morning, and Mo Fan liked to stop by before going about his daily activities.

Mo Fan's eyes widened as he took in her appearance.

"Sister Rong, is this what you would be wearing today?"

Two pair of eyes fell on him simultaneously, and Secretary Cao sighed in his heart before looking away.

"Is anything wrong with it?" Rong Yue asked as she sat at the dining table.

Like always, Secretary Cao Huo packed up the files and moved to another part of the living room.

"You want to meet the Dean of the Universities like this?" Mo Fan placed emphasis on 'dean.'

He was used to girls putting on elegant dresses for important occasions. Seeing how laid back she was dressed, he couldn't help himself.

Rong Yue shrugged. Her nonchalant expression was enough to let him know that she didn't care.

Qin Yichen also felt the same way. There was no need to dress up for such a meeting.

Seeing the looks on their faces, Mo Fan gave up and went back to eating his breakfast. Since they didn't care, how could he keep talking about it?

"Have some breakfast. You might not like what they order," Qin Yichen told her as he filled her plate with food.

In the last few days, Minister Zhang carefully arranged a meeting with the top three universities. The three ranked best in almost every course, and the overall student experience was also good.

Since he couldn't give them her contact, the meeting was to make sure they could talk to Rong Yue freely.

Once Rong Yue decided, her admission would be processed from the university's back end.

The arrangement was convenient, and Rong Yue also agreed to it.

But to someone like Mo Fan, being invited to dine with the heads of the top three schools was like the greatest honour possible.

It was enough that Rong Yue wasn't shouting about it. But she was dressed so simply?!

"It's just a meeting. What I'm wearing doesn't matter."

"Have you settled on the school you want?" Qin Yichen asked, changing the topic of discussion.

"I have two options. Maybe it would be better to meet with them before I make my final decision."

After many days of thinking, she finally settled on a major that could help with her plans and a minor that she could do for fun.

The most important thing was knowing which school to go for.
