Chapter 3: The arrival of GOD
The Multiversal Path was an explosion of colors and disjointed shapes, as if the very concept of logic had been erased and restructured. Fragments of realities collided and shattered into chaotic spirals, creating a spectacle that only Arthur seemed to enjoy.
"HAHAHAHA! LOOK AT THIS, LIBUR! Isn't it amazing? Who would have thought the multiverse would be so... psychedelic!" Arthur laughed loudly, his voice echoing as he casually floated through the chaos, arms crossed behind his head as if lying on an invisible hammock.
Behind him, Libur screamed, desperately clinging to her creator's body. "L-LORD ARTHUR! THIS IS A TERRIBLE IDEA! PLEASE, GO BACK HOME!" Her dark dress flapped violently as she was pulled by the turbulent energy of the crossing.
"Home? Hah! And miss all this fun? No way, Libur!" Arthur replied, spinning midair as if he were playing in an amusement park. "Besides, I have a super important mission, remember? I need to fix that insult to my divine image!"
Libur tried to protest, but her voice was swallowed by a wave of spatial distortion. They passed through a bubble of reality where mechanical creatures battled in warfields; then through a fragment of a dimension where humans in colorful, golden armor fought against Greek gods. Everything was so surreal that Libur began questioning her own existence.
"Master, please slow down! I don't know if I'll survive this!"
"Stop whining, Libur! You're a legendary weapon! If I survive, you survive. Relax a bit!" Arthur turned around, grinning widely, as he adjusted the black censor bar over his eyes. "Besides, we're almost there! I can feel it…" He paused for a moment, frowning. "Or maybe it's just the pizza I ate three dimensions ago?"
Before Libur could scream again, a blinding light engulfed them. When they opened their eyes, they were falling… or rather, floating slowly, as if the universe couldn't decide whether to accept them or not.
Below them, the world of Remnant unfolded like a detailed map. The view of vast forests, mountains, and cities was breathtaking, but Arthur focused on only one thing.
"There it is! Remnant, with that little touch of drama from my useless interns!" he said, pointing at Beacon Academy in the kingdom of Vale, visible in the distance. "Let's get this party started, Libur!"
Libur, pale and exhausted from the journey, barely managed to mumble. "I-I just want a moment to breathe…"
Arthur ignored her, casually raising a hand and snapping his fingers. "There you go, assisted landing. Let's make a grand entrance!"
With a thunderous sound and an explosion of golden light, the two vanished into thin air, leaving the multiverse at peace—at least, for now. In Remnant, at the heart of the kingdom, chaos was about to begin.

"For years, you have trained to become warriors, and today your skills will be tested in the Emerald Forest," announced Ozpin, his voice serene yet laden with authority as the students lined up on Beacon's cliffside.
"I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about team formations. Well, it's time to set the record straight. Each of you will be assigned a partner today," he continued. "That partner will be the first person you make eye contact with after landing. They will stand by your side for the next four years."
Ruby gulped, her expression betraying her rising panic. "What?!"
Ignoring her, Ozpin pressed on, "Once partnered, proceed to the northernmost part of the forest. You will encounter opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy anything that gets in your way, or you may not survive." His cold warning lingered in the air, visibly unnerving many of the students.
"You will be monitored and graded throughout the initiation," Ozpin added pragmatically. "But do not expect help. This is a test of your skills and survival capabilities."
"Um... sir?" Jaune Arc timidly raised his hand, trying to get Ozpin's attention, but the headmaster simply ignored him. Instead, Ozpin took a sip from his mug, a faint smile gracing his lips.
"Once you reach the abandoned temple, select a relic and return to the top of the cliff. Your choices will determine team formations. Any questions?" Ozpin's tone carried finality.
Jaune tried again, hesitantly. "I have a question. What exactly is this landing strategy?" However, the only response he received was heavy silence, followed by the sudden firing of his launch platform. He barely had time to process what was happening before being catapulted into the sky with a terrified scream.

Unbeknownst to anyone in Remnant, a certain god and his sacred weapon were hurtling toward a "variant" of said god.
"We're almost there, Liburrrr~!" Falling from the sky at high speed was Arthur, looking as delighted as ever, with Libur clinging to his waist like a koala, her eyes wide with panic.
"M-MY LORD?!" she whimpered, not out of fear of falling, but out of fear that her master might accidentally destroy the planet upon impact, sending them hurtling into the void—a fate she desperately wished to avoid after their chaotic multiversal journey.
And thanks to Arthur's destined arrival, their descent would soon come to an end.
In mere milliseconds—
THWACK!
"ACK!"
The incorporeal form of Arthur collided head-on with the body of his variant, Jaune Arc.
However, the impact had... complications—
"AAAAAAH!" The collision altered Jaune's trajectory, which meant the spear meant to graze his clothes instead pierced and went straight through his shoulder.
From a distance, Pyrrha Nikos could only widen her eyes as she saw her spear strike the boy she had been trying to help, possibly mortally.
"W-What, I-I didn't! I-I?" She froze in shock for a few seconds before a panicked scream erupted, and a flurry of apologies, "I'm sorry," and "Please forgive me!" escaped her lips as she sprinted after the falling boy.

"Hum?...Hello?...Anyone?...Where am I?" Jaune Arc, after his fantastic fall, only remembers crashing into something and passing out. Now he found himself in an absolute white void, confused. "Did I die?"
"Not yet, kid." Upon hearing the voice, he turned to its source. His eyes widened in surprise.
The person was basically a version of himself, but more disheveled.
His clone had shorter blonde hair and wore simple clothes like blue jeans and a white shirt that said "Praise be to GOD." But what caught his attention was the censorship on his eyes and the large, COOL black and gold sword on his shoulder.
"If you stop drooling over MY sword (hehehe~), I wanted to talk to you, kid. By the way, my name is Arthur," the not-really-his-clone spoke to him casually.
"I-I'm Jaune! Jaune Arc, short, sweet, the ladies love it!" He immediately repeated his slogan, trying to maintain confidence.
"No... they don't..." Ouch! Hearing that again hurt. "But! That's not why I'm here! I, am Arthur, GOD Arthur, the god of this world and all the worlds that exist, and YOU are a variant of me... ONE THAT I AM DISAPPOINTED IN!" The god's shout was accompanied by the thunderous roar of a thunderstrike, along with the grinding of teeth and veins on the god's face—wait... A VARIANT OF A GOD???
Normally, he would be happy to be a variant of a god in some crazy dream, but something told him that being arrogant here would only lead to his death.
"S-so?..." All he could do was be humble and wait for the furious god to speak.
"Ah... well, I came to solve this and help you stop tarnishing my image."
'Help?... Wait…'
"SO YOU'RE GOING TO TRAIN ME?" Jaune shouted excitedly, already thinking about his future, training with a literal god who was a VERSION of him? PERFECT.
"Hum?"
"WAIT?? AND THAT SWORD! I'M GOING TO GET IT TOO! THANK YOU MASTER!" It was official, he was LOVING this maybe-not-so-dream. He was now shedding tears as he crossed his hands in prayer. He was already imagining the tales of his story until—
"Pss….kukuku…hahahahhahaHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA AHAHA." The god laughed almost maniacally while clutching his sides. He laughed so hard that he dropped the sword from his hands and was now rolling on the "floor," letting out roaring laughter.
"W-what?" Jaune murmured before feeling a fist hit his head, making him fall to the ground.
"TRAIN WITH LORD ARTHUR? HAVE SOME RESPECT, YOU WEAK HUMAN! LORD ARTHUR IS PERFECTION INCARNATE! YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY JUST TO BE IN HIS PRESENCE! AND WHAT IS THIS TALK ABOUT 'A VARIANT OF MINE'? YOU'RE THE VARIANT HERE, YOU INCOMPETENT HUMAN! GET ON YOUR KNEES AND APOLOGIZE!" The sword gleamed and was replaced by a stunning girl, but she quickly began hitting him on the head with each scream. Normally Jaune would complain, but the intimidating aura was so strong that he could only lower his head and murmur apologies.
His murmurs and the girl's screams were soon interrupted by the god's words, who was now standing, wiping his tears.
"Calm down, Libur~, the kid's not entirely wrong!" The god spoke with his hands in his pockets as he approached them.
He saw the panic and surprise in the girl's eyes—Libur?—as her master came closer.
"R-Really? Are you going to train me?" He now felt his hopes returning; he would finally show he could be a hero, that he COULD be a Hunter, and finally become a legendary—
"Hahaha—Hell NO! I'm copying the old wizard of this world and merging my soul and mind with his—with mine as the dominant one, of course!" The god said this calmly as he placed his palm on Jaune's head.
"W-WAIT? WON'T THIS KILL ME??" He now panicked, wanting to run, but the god's hand kept him in place.
"Oh Jaune, don't be like that, look on the bright side! You'll have the honor of becoming part of me... a very small part with practically no influence or existence, but still a part. Isn't that a gift? You'll be part of GOD!"
"W-WAIT? WEREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE GOD? BENEVOLENCE AND LOVING YOUR CREATIONS?" Jaune screamed in panic and agony as he felt his mind slowly shatter and get sucked into the god, losing the senses of his body. But the next words from the god made Jaune realize that God was actually the Devil.
"Hold on, Jaune… I LOVE my creations... but I LOVE myself more... goodbye… Jaune Arc… and Hello… Arthur Arc…"
And these were the last words the final fragment of the soul and consciousness that was once Jaune Arc heard and felt before being completely dismantled and absorbed by the remorseless divine entity.
Meanwhile, in the Emerald Forest, sapphire blue eyes opened to the world, with a wide, inhuman smile on its face.
"Oh?... Hello, Remnant… Praise be to Me…"
