Possessive crush

This is our first trip together with Felix. We sit on the bus hugging each other. I rest my head on his shoulder, looking at the landscape outside the window, while he strokes my hair. All around us there is a commotion, with people talking loudly, laughing and even throwing things at each other, but that doesn't stop me from falling asleep in his embrace. I feel so comfortable with him that my eyes close on their own despite the noise.

- Sleep, Selena. I'll wake you up if we get there. - His caring voice sounds extremely pleasant in my ears as I am already on the verge of falling asleep.

- My dear friend! - The shout that rings out over my head immediately puts me on my feet. - Give me back the chips you are keeping in your bag! - Eve stands by our seats with a wide smile on her face.

- Before you open your mouth, see what's going on around you. Didn't you notice that Selena was already asleep? Think about what you're doing, noisy girl. - Felix looks furious as he directs these words to the blonde. - Sometimes it seems to me that mentally you stopped at the age of five.

- Oh, and you are out of sorts as usual. You're angry, as if you're the one who woke up. - Eve rolls her eyes pretentiously. - Selena is not angry with me, and you are. She has the mouth to speak up. You don't have to do it for her.

The blonde crosses her arms over her chest and snorts under her breath.

I lean over the seat and see my friend stop mid-step as she passes Sebastian's seat. He can't survive the fact that he ran into the vehicle first and squeezed in next to his classmate to save himself from her. This way the blonde is not sitting with him, but with her soulmate.

The bus has a sharp deceleration, and Eve lands on Hannah's lap. She smiles broadly at the sight of her classmate.

In one hand I hold the suitcase, while my other hand is embraced by Felix's hand. We follow the group behind the caretakers, heading to the guesthouse we have booked for two nights.

Walking in front of us, Eve puts her arm around Mike's shoulder, having lived with him as best buddies for a long time. They are on the same wavelength, and I think they will be inseparable during this trip, even if my friend is going to hunt Sebastian. I bet Mike will help her with that.

- It's fortunate that they have humbled themselves. At least we will be able to take a break from them," announces Felix, with his head pointing at our friends.

- Do you think they will forgive us so easily?

- I hope so.

We enter the guesthouse and wait for the caretakers, who are taking care of the formalities at the reception desk. Leaning my head on Felix's shoulder, with amused eyes I watch Eve, who is planning how to hunt down a classmate. She reveals her ideas to Mike.

- It's hard for me with the thought that we can't share one room with each other on a school trip. - I blush at these words. It's a good thing I'm hugging my face to his shoulder, and he doesn't see it. - But aren't school trips for sneaking off to another room in the middle of the night?

- Felix," I say in an embarrassed voice. - Keep your voice down, or the caretakers will still hear.

The adults return to us, communicating that the rooms are double. I pick up the key along with Eve, although I guess that if she still had a hankering for Hannah she would no doubt set me up to get into her room.

How funny can fate be when it turns out that Felix and Mike have a room across the street from us?

I feel that there will be trouble. It's twenty-three o'clock, and the plans have entirely changed. Eve and I do not find ourselves in the room of Felix and Mike, a colleague who has invited several people from the group to stay with him. It's fortunate that the walls in this guesthouse are soundproofed, and our conversations can't be heard; otherwise we would have dragged the guardians here long ago.

My friend is thrilled as we sit in a circle waiting for the bottle game to begin. Her excitement wouldn't be so strong if it weren't for the fact that Sebastian is among us.

Mike has a crazy personality, so I watch with amusement in my eyes as he licks his lips, ready to pounce on his best friend. Felix, on the other hand, looks disgusted by this sight.

People decked themselves with laughter.

Even I can't stand to laugh when I see the murderous look on my boyfriend's face. Mike smiles broadly, taking nothing for his warning finger.

- I'm beginning to understand why you never revealed to me the type of woman you like," Felix claims, wiping his mouth and the rest of his face with the sleeve of his sweatshirt.

Mike spins the bottle, and his victim falls Sebastian.

- Sweet boy... - begins, which once again brings everyone to laughter.

- Scared boy," corrects Mike, seeing that Sebastian is terrified. - Question or challenge?

People are surprised by this answer. Until now, everyone thought he hated my friend.

The blonde, on the other hand, is delighted. She breaks from her seat and runs up to him, grabbing his hand.

I scratch my head, being a little nervous that it's my turn now. I don't like asking questions or coming up with tasks in such a large group. I'm terrible at it.

Felix blinks his eyes at me, smiling slightly. I spin the bottle, and it stops at Mike. Another time tonight.

- This time a question, please," announces the boy, smiling friendly in my direction.

I get the impression that the boy's face is fading. He stares at me, and it seems to me that instantly all the life has gone out of him. He is no longer as radiant as before.

- This... - he begins, glancing nervously in Felix's direction. My boyfriend crinkles his eyebrows, then glances at me. - Just let me run around the guesthouse naked.

Mike intends to get up, but Felix holds him down.

- Do you have someone you like? Why do you make it such a secret when even I don't know anything about it? - His voice sounds rough and the air thickens. - Why don't you want to answer this question?

I see that people look confused. They are silent, waiting for the situation to develop, and I regret like hell that I asked the question. After all, Eve warned me that Felix doesn't know anything.

- It's just a certain girl and let's not make a big deal out of it. I would rather not tell you about anything, because you are experiencing great love yourself right now.

My boyfriend squints furiously.

- It's not some girl out there but Selena. I'm not stupid, Mike. I noticed the way you looked at her a long time ago," he declares, and I feel embarrassed as everyone's eyes fall on me. - Did you find out about it, that's why you asked him this question? - Hey, you're overreacting. Wrap up. Selena has nothing to do with this. Direct your anger at me. - Mike tries to take the whole misunderstanding on himself, not wanting me to get involved, but this is a bad idea, because Felix in anger is out of control and punches him in the face with his fist.

People look horrified, though I'm experiencing it the most. I reach Felix and pull him away from Mike, helping him up. He turns to face me and grabs my shoulders.

- Why did you ask him this question? - His eyes express fury as he looks at me blankly.

- Because I heard from Eve that she liked someone. I had no idea who that person was. I would rather not create such a situation," I explain.

- No! - shouts at me, tugging at my shoulders. - You did it because you knew it perfectly well. Admit that you are excited and just want to swap me for him!

His words are to me like a sword with which he pierces my heart. I look at him with wounded eyes, feeling tears coming to my eyes.

- So be it, since you know it better than me," I declare, pulling myself out of his grasp. I hastily leave the room and when I look over my shoulder, I see that he is coming up behind me. He's mad as hell, and I'm panicking about him now. I speed up my step and run ahead, but he follows me.
