Chapter 3: The Journey Begins
Doom walked out of Professor Oak's laboratory, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation. He had finally started his Pokémon journey, and he couldn't wait to see what lay ahead.
As he walked through the streets of Viridian City, Doom couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and responsibility. He was now a Pokémon trainer, and he had a Pokémon of his own to care for.
Doom looked down at the Poké Ball in his hand, feeling a sense of excitement and wonder. He had chosen Charmander as his starter Pokémon, and he couldn't wait to see it in action.
As he walked, Doom noticed a few people staring at him. He realized that they were looking at the Poké Ball in his hand, and he felt a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Suddenly, Doom heard a voice behind him.
"Hey, you're a Pokémon trainer, aren't you?" the voice said.
Doom turned around to see a boy about his age, with a mischievous grin on his face.
"Yeah, I just got my starter Pokémon from Professor Oak," Doom said, holding up the Poké Ball.
The boy's eyes widened in excitement.
"No way! I'm a Pokémon trainer too!" he exclaimed. "My name is Blue, by the way."
Doom smiled, feeling a sense of camaraderie with his fellow trainer.
"I'm Doom," he said, shaking Blue's hand.
Blue grinned.
"It's great to meet you, Doom," he said. "I've been training my Pokémon for a while now, and I'm on a mission to become the Pokémon Master."
Doom's eyes widened in excitement.
"That's my goal too!" he exclaimed.
Blue grinned.
"Well, in that case, let's make a promise to each other," he said. "Let's promise to always do our best, and to support each other on our journey to become Pokémon Masters."
Doom nodded, feeling a sense of determination and purpose.
"I promise," he said, shaking Blue's hand again.
Blue grinned.
"Then it's settled," he said. "We'll be rivals, but we'll also be friends."
Doom smiled, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation.
"I'm looking forward to it," he said.
And with that, Doom and Blue set off on their respective journeys, ready to face whatever challenges and adventures lay ahead.
