Pokemon:Ruin hunter

Newbark town:

In prof.Elm's lab, two people and a certain cat was kneeling infront of Noah.

They had bruises all over their body as they looked at Noah in fear and a gaze of not giving up.

They were ofcourse the team rocket trio consisting ofJames, Jessie and meowth respectively.

Right now they were kneeling infront of Noah as he started to speak: "Do you know what would've happened if the egg went missing?"

The coldness of his voice sent a chill down their spine as they fumbled for words.

"Umm...you would've hospitalized us?" Jessie asked with uncertainty.

"Ever heard of kyurem? Team galactic is struggling to feed it and they are willing to pay a price that can satisfy me." Noah said with an emotionless face but on the inside he was giggling like crazy.

"You want us to be the caretakers of kyurem?"

James asked because he couldn't really understand what Noah was trying to say.

"Kyurem likes human flesh." This reply made the whole room go quiet.

Both Jessie and James started to tremble in fear as meowth's expression changed.

"Hehe then I am free to go right?" The cat immediately said as it started to leave.

Even though it could sense the stare of animosity from its partners he could only shake his head.

'Dont worry, I will inform boss about this and get you out.' He made a promise in his mind which he may or may not keep.

"Kyurem doesn't discriminate, food is food for him." Before the cat could escape he was pulled back by Noah.

He went back to his previous position again.

"So, you guys have one option, and that is to sign these papers." Noah handed over a small stack of paper to the team rocket trio.

They received it and read it, confused to which why Noah gave them this.

The trio read each words carefully over and over again.

After a few moments they all said in unison:

"We aren't leaving team rocket!"

'Very loyal.' Noah complimented them in his mind as he continued speaking: "I am not telling you to leave team rocket, I am only hiring you as my assistants at my future lab, you can still continue being a team rocket."

Hearing Noah's words the eyes of the trio lit up as they recalled the salary and privileges that was mentioned in the contract.

They immediately without a word signed the papers and handed it over to Noah.

"Nice to meet ya second boss." They said at the same time as they stood up.

Before Noah could reply the trio immediately took off towards the exit.

"Let us know when the lab is built, right now we have a yellow rat to catch!" The cat yelled while running away so Noah could know why they were in a hurry.

They scrambled towards the door and immediately left.

'Well they are innocent and honest.' Noah found a good quality in them as he chuckled recalling the interaction they just had.

'Ash and his friends already left for mt.silver yesterday.' Noah walked towards prof.Elm's main lab.

'I will only leave newbark after the egg hatches.' Leaving it here is a good option but Noah was feeling more and more paranoid after the encounters between the secret cult even though most of them were indirect.

Noah approached the door and opened it revealing a lab filled with graphs and devices that Noah didn't exactly know the names of.

The room was huge as many assistants and Pokemon moved around and carried on with their research.

Noah looked towards a capsule with a flaaffy inside it, it was sparking with electricity as it charged the huge machine.

A orange chicken was helping others by carrying the weights and a blue bat with a huge mouth was transporting materials from place to place.

A small bug with a white mane was sitting on the shoulder of a man with short brown hair in the distance.

The odd thing was that they all wore a lab coat.

"Thanks for th custom made lab coats Maria." Noah thanked the middle-aged woman as she smiled in response.

Noah conversed with a few assistants and finally approached the man with the larvesta on his shoulders.

"Prof.Elm why did you call me?" Noah asked while tapping Elm's shoulder signalling larvesta to come back.

Larvesta understood as it climbed onto his arms and rested on his shoulder.

The man turned around with a smile and said:

"Ah, Noah congratulations on passing the exams."

'Yeah I got the result yesterday.' Noah thought as he thanked the man for the congratulating him.

"So why did you call me?" Noah asked again.

"Oh about that....I should show you so you would understand it better." He pointed towards the monitor used to make call and led Noah towards it.

He turned it on and moved away allowing Noah to step forward, the monitor was static for a moment until it stopped and revealed the interior of another lab in the background.

A man was standing infront of the camera with a expectant smile on his face as he started talking.

" Nice to meet you Noah." The man who spoke was an old man with a thick white beard and hair.

He was the professor from the sinnoh region.

Professor Rowan.

"Nice to meet you to." Noah greeted him with a smile.

"First of all I want to congratulate you for passing the exams and second of all I have send a package to you, it has already arrived and it is in the hands of prof.Elm, it was something that we excavated from the relic castle." Rowan said all that in one breath.

'The place where we can catch volcarona?'

Noah immediately asked: "They encountered some difficulty?"

"Yes they found something interesting and even though I am a professor my expertise lies in evolution, so I thought about you." Rowan told his reason.

'Oh yeah I am a professor specialized in history, myth, folklore and all.' Noah wasn't really a professor right now because of his age but he only needs to wait a month.

"Thanks, I will try my best." Noah promised Rowan.

"Then I don't want to keep you waiting, let's end our call here." Rowan could sense Noah

Impatience and ended the call.

The call was extremely short and both of them seems to be uncomfortable on socialising with strangers.

'Thank god, or else I wouldn't have known how to keep the conversation going.' Noah faced Elm and saw that he was holding a package.

He handed it over to Noah and Noah recieved it.

"Can I open it here?" Noah asked to which Elm nodded.

"Sure, how about there?" Elm pointed towards an empty table and Noah placed the package on top of it and ripped it off.

After removing many layers of protection he finally saw the thing which caused the ones at the relic castle to be stunned.

He took it out from the package and spread it all over the table.

It was a huge leather potrait of an moth with a white mane and six orange wings with black dots in it.

Below it humans were kneeling towards the moth as a sun was drawn behind it.

"This....this pokemon looks familiar to larvesta right?" Elm asked with some uncertainty.

'Hmm? Maybe he isn't familiar with unova?' Noah nodded and said: "Maybe it's evolution."

He also found a small glass container with a silvery powder inside it.

"Oh it's silver powder, it increases the power of bug-types." Elm said from the side.

"Yeah but this seems to be from a higher quality." He opened the cap and brought it towards his nose and smelled it.

'It smells like iron I think?' Noah placed it on the potrait and took out larvesta from his shoulders and placed him on the volcarona potrait.

"Your ancestor?" Noah asked jokingly.

Larvesta immediately rushed towards the volcarona in the potrait and stared at it like he was in a daze.

'Something is going to happen.' Noah was sure as he took a few steps back.

Larvesta snapped out from its daze and violently rushed towards the glass container as it broke it with it's teeth and consumed the powder.

'Yeah he is gonna evolve.' Noah took a few more steps back.

Noah had read volcarona's pokedex entry because it was one of his favourites so he knew what will happen.

But Elm wasn't lucky as he was hit by a wave of hot air which made him sweat intensely.

Larvesta started to glow as it began to grow.

It's leaves around its neck became bigger and wider until they became wings and larvesta's body was now like a moth.

The light subsided revealing the same exact Pokemon in the potrait.

Larvesta who was now volcarona gently flapped it's wings to stay in the air but it brought more heat and Noah had to recall it back.

'A volcaro after spamming quiver dance is op.'

Noah wasn't to going to abuse it too much though.

He certainly will abuse it.

Midnight:

Noah sat on a chair with a computer infront of him as the sound of the keyboard resounded throughout the room.

Not only the room but also his neighbour rooms as the assistants who resided there were unable to sleep.

'After finishing this I can watch some movies or T.V shows.' Noah was especially interested in Brycen-man.

Right now he was writing his research on the leather potrait from the clues that was available to him.

'They were wondering why humans were worshipping a Pokemon who was not even a legendary, this caused them to believe maybe that a volcarona was actually one.' Noah knew the truth so he didn't have to think much.

His fingers moved at a fast rate, his palms were sweaty and he was on full focus.

But this focus was disrupted when he heard a ethereal cry from behind him.

His hands froze as his eyes widened.

His room was completely dark with the only source of light being his computer screen.

'Please don't be a ghost...' Noah was really scared of ghosts.

Extremely.

He slowly turned his head around and saw something glowing.

It was an egg sitting with pillows around it serving as a pillow nest.

'I think I am really lucky today.' Noah then noticed that his silver earring was glowing too.

He stopped writing and approached the egg,

The closer he got the brighter it shined.

Noah got on his bed and sat near it, waiting in anticipation.

He raised his left hand and touched the egg's surface.

The moment they made contact, the egg cracked and a bright light enveloped the whole room frying Noah's eyes in the process.

The light subsided after a few moments but the damage was still done.

Noah held his eyes closed with his hand and rolled around his bed in pain as a small silver pokemon was comforting him by his side.

A new lugia was born.
