Chapter 23: CHAPTER-23

Underground:

Noah stood there confused and lost.

What were these people doing?

Was this some kind of joke?

There was no way the person he had known for almost half a decade really be in some kind of organisation that kidnapped and tortured him right?

Hesitation was visible on Noah's face as he approached the duo.

'I am sorry but I have to escape.' He raised the torch and smacked it into the girl's head as she fell to the ground with a thud.

The boy quickly reacted and turned around as his hand rushed to where his pokeballs were kept.

But the moment he saw Noah's face he froze and that was all Noah need as he thrust the sharp end of the torch through his mouth to keep him shut and knocked him out.

The two layed on the damp ground and Noah stared at them, clenching the torch in his hand with a feeling of being betrayed in his heart.

'No need to think about it now, I need to find my pokemon.' Noah sighed and undressed Jake and wore the purple robe.

He pulled the hood forward as it covered his whole face with darkness.

He also did not forget to take both Jake's and Emily's pokeballs and hiding both of them so they wouldn't be found.

Finally with all those things done he continued on his search for his Pokemon.

'Either it's in their storage room or where their leader's office.' Noah had seen enough movies and anime to deduce.

'But how am supposed to get there with no pokemon?' He considered using the stolen Pokemon but who knows if they will obey him.

'Fuck it.' He slided his left hand into the sleeve of his right arm and continued.

His hands or hand was hidden by the sleeves so they wouldn't find out about his missing hand.

'I also need to be careful to not interact with anyone or my cover will be blown.' His bleeding have stopped and he felt energized.

'I hope they didn't sell or destroy my pokeballs.' That was a worst case scenario.

He followed the lined up torches on the wall and after many twists, turns and forked paths which he absolutely hated, he finally entered a new chamber.

It was massive and unlike the underground path, the walls, floor and ceiling were made out of black crystal which Noah secretly slipped some into his pockets.

As for his reason?

It looked cool.

Many people wearing the same outfit as him were lined up kneeling towards an altar with a pitch black unown with no pupils sitting on a raised platform and a huge potrait behind it.

The potrait was covered with a a silky red cloth.

Noah did not want to be the odd one out and kneeled on the ground just like them.

All of them were holding their hands with eyes closed while praying in a whisper.

They were holding their hands.

Noah won't be able to do that.

As Noah was listening to some of their prayers which included wealth, power or even beauty,

He heard a peculiar one.

"Ohh.. my lord and savior please save us from the tyranny of Arceus...." A man towards his right prayed.

Blasphemy.

Noah did not have the hand to smack him so he decided not to.

After a few minutes of this satanic worship they all stood and Noah followed.

They did not speak to eachother and silently left the room.

Noah being Noah was the last one to leave as he collected some more crystals.

But at this he accidentally glimpsed at the potrait.

The cloth somehow vanished.

It had a text right below it which read-

'The forbidden and the forgotten.' The corner of Noah's eyes started to bleed.

He quickly looked away as the memory of the potrait vanished from his mind.

'What did it look like again?' He wanted to take a look one more time but his instincts screamed at him to not to.

Noah wasn't dumb so he didn't and left the chamber.

Be like Noah, not like those horror movie families.

Noah continued on his way and therefore more forked roads appeared before him as he started to have a mental breakdown.

A few minutes of search later.

'This should be it.' Noah stood infront of a wooden door.

Yes a wooden door inside a underground base where doors weren't present at all.

Totally not suspicious.

'They could've atleast use a iron door.'Noah being the complete idiot he was entered the door with no thought put into it.

Inside he saw a room similar to a normal office room with a desk in the middle with scattered papers and even a revolving chair was present there but the walls and floor is made from polished black crystal.

'I like revolving chair.' Noah decided to take it with him.

'These guys have wierd taste.' Noah approached the desk but for now one's suprise a huge crushing palm gripped his right shoulder.

He looked back and there he saw a huge humanoid Pokemon with four arms.

A machamp.

'I think I can take it on.' Noah was feeling delusional today as he pulled back his left hand into a fist.

Which didn't work because a huge purple cobra bit down on it.

An arbok.

Noah was captured because he decided to be a retard.

Don't be like Noah.

At this moment the revolving chair spun around revealing the previous woman he saw at his cell.

"Oh my.... Look who decided to visit me?" She chuckled as she got off from the chair and approached Noah.

Both the Pokemon forced him to kneel as the clicking sound of the woman's heels was getting closer and closer.

She dragged the revolving chair and placed it right before him and sat down.

She raised Noah's head with her fingers and asked with a smile: "Did you miss me?"

'I am completely fucked.' Noah considered biting his tongue off and dying from blood loss instead of being tortured.

But he was going to revive again so there was no point.

They also knew about his revival because Noah assumed that they saw him regenerate.

'Now how can I escape?' Noah started to plan rapidly in his head.

But this was all stopped when the woman took out a huge tweezer with sharp edges.

'Oh no, not my pokeballs!' Noah's pupils started to tremble.

But his worst fear didn't come true as she lowered it towards his eyes.

Noah sighed in relief inside his head.

'WAIT! That's still bad!' Before he knew all he could feel was pain.

The woman slowly plunged the tweezers into his eye socket as blood seeped out.

Noah wanted to struggle but he knew that would bring him more pain.

The cold metal went deeper into his flesh and finally held down on his eyes.

'IT HURTS.' Tears mixed with blood fell from Noah's eyes.

The woman slowly started to pull out his eyes.

Not rapidly because Noah would suffer less if that happened.

Slowly but surely Noah could see his left eyeball pulling out of his eye socket.

"Do you know why you are still conscious?"

She asked with her seductive voice.

But Noah's pain overloaded his brain as he didn't hear it.

'I thought adrenaline makes me more pain resistant why isn't it working?' Noah didn't know and the woman continued to pull his eye out.

Finally she released it and Noah saw his left eye dangling on some remaining muscle tissues and it hurted like hell.

"Hehe.. That's cute." She then took out a hand mirror from her desk and held it towards Noah.

Noah could see his empty eye socket and the flesh inside.

He wanted to vomit, his mind was going insane.

"Hey! I have a great idea, why don't I feed you your own brain?" The woman asked with childish joy.

The room was silent as blood was flowing from Noah's gruesome injury.

"Where..." Noah's hoarse voice asked in a whisper.

"What?" The woman lowered her ear to hear him better.

"Where is my Pokemon?" This time it was more clear.

"Oh it's in my desk." She chuckled and said.

She then turned her head towards him with a wide smile as their faces were inches away.

"Thanks." With this a ripping sound was heard as Noah ripped his shoulder apart to escape and pounced towards the woman.

The last the she saw was Noah's dislocated jaw so wide it ripped through his cheeks right infront of her face.

__________________________________________

A few hours later.

A trio wearing the same robe as the green-haired woman gathered in her room.

One of them was crouching down near a dead body and asked the others: "You sure he still has his sanity?"

The dead body obviously belonged to the green-haired woman and her face was completely mauled and her brain was missing.

Further investigation would show that it was somehow forced down her mouth and into her stomach.

"Yes, now stop joking and continue." A deep voice reverberated throughout the room as the largest one spoke.

"What else is missing?" A squeaky voice asked.

"A revolving chair." The man who was inspecting the body answered.

"It doesn't matter as long as he have seen the potrait of God." The large man spoke and left the room.

The other two sighed and continued their investigation.
