Pokemon: These Players are too annoying!

Chapter 80: (Halloween special)

Somewhere, two people are sitting at a small table, playing cards.

"I ACTIVATE POT OF GREED! IT ALLOWS ME DRAW TWO CARD ON MY DECK!"

"AND THIS 2 CARD, IT'S POT OF GREED! IT ALLOWS ME DRAW 4 CARDS ON MY DECK!"

"AND THIS 4 CARD, IT'S P-"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP, WHERE'S IS MY FUCKING TURN??"

"AND THIS 8 CARD IS A FUCKING EXODIA!! IT ALLOWS ME TO FUCKING KILL YOU NOW BITCH!"

"AGHHHHHHHH?!!"

There's a handsome guy with red hair, wearing an earring on his right ear, sitting at a small table, playing cards.

And the other person… uh, let's just say it's me.

"YOU BASTARD! HOW THE HELL DO YOU HAVE SO MANY POT OF GREED CARDS??"

"Just lucky~"

"Lucky, my ass! You're cheating! It must be because you're mad I didn't include you in the new chapters!"

No one other than Lukas.

"SHUT UP! EXODIA! TURN HER INTO A MAN RIGHT NOW!!"

"WAIT WAIT WAIT!!"

She clings to Lukas' leg, desperately pleading for mercy.

"I-I GET IT, I'M SORRY, ANYTHING BUT DON'T TURN ME INTO A GUY!"

"Alright then, I won't use Exodia." Lukas cheerfully puts the card away.

But what he didn't expect was that she'd grab the cards with an evil grin.

"FOOL! YOU'VE TRUSTED OTHERS TOO MUCH, YUGIKAS! NOW EXPERIENCE ULTIMATE PAIN!"

She tears the card apart, making Lukas instantly feel an unbearable pain.

"EXODIAAAAA!!!"

Lukas's LP of 2000 drops to 1.

He collapses, staring at the brutally torn cards.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA-EHUE! EHUE! Damn it, my throat hurts, uhhh HAHAHAHA!!"

"That's the worst you can do… YOU WEEVIL!!!" Lukas glared at her angrily, drawing a card.

"Berserker Soul, allowing me to attack continuously until I run out of monster cards!"

"Basaka soru?" She looked at Lukas in confusion as he prepared to draw his cards.

"DORO! MONSTA CARDO!!" Lukas drew a card and threw it at her face.

"UGAAHHH!!!" She winced in pain, her LP dropping from 2000 to 1500.

"DORO! MONSTA CARDO!!" Lukas threw another card, stuffing it in her mouth.

"UGAHHHHH!!!" Her LP dropped to 1000.

"DORO MONSTA CARDO, DORO MONSTA CARDO, DORO MONSTA CARDO, DORO MONSTA CARDOOO!!!" Lukas kept hitting her with card after card, making her collapse in pain.

Her LP dropped to 0!

"I win, Author. You'd better write me into the next chapter!"

Suddenly, a menacing laugh came from her.

"HihihihahahaHAHAAHHA!!"

"What's so funny?!"

"Don't you know? It's the Halloween special! And what does Halloween mean? It means there's something scary in this chapter!"

"You jerk! Is this how you treat your OC?!"

"Good luck!"

"Wait—"

Darkness immediately enveloped Lukas.

***

"Huh? Where am I?"

Lukas found himself in a large mansion.

"Wait! I know this place! This is my house??"

Lukas couldn't believe he was back in this enormous mansion, a place that was nothing short of a nightmare for him.

"Man! Why would you do this to me, author?!"

Sighing, Lukas looked around and started checking each room. Memories came flooding back to him, along with memories of his dad's old discipline — bad old times.

Then he glanced at a family photo. In it, there were four people: an older man with red hair, his father; a younger girl with blond hair and red eyes, his little sister; a boy with red hair and blue eyes — him.

And the fourth… his mother, as beautiful as ever with her golden hair and blue eyes.

"Ugh… Already hating Halloween."

He continued his exploration, walking around and casually finding a place to relieve himself.

Wait, why am I peeing in my dad's potted plant? I could just pee on his bed.

With that thought, he happily headed to his dad's room.

"WELCOME TO MY FATHER'S ROOM! TODAY I SHALL PEE… ON… HIS… BED…?"

When he opened the door, standing there were a red-haired boy and a blond-haired girl, both in Halloween costumes.

The girl was dressed as a vampire, while the boy was somehow dressed as LeBron James (huh?).

"…." Lukas stared at them, then quietly shut the door.

Oh, no. The memories are rushing back.

How embarrassing!

Blushing, Lukas moved on to a different room.

'…I want to check my mom's room. It's been a while.'

Determined, he quickly headed to his mother's room and opened the door confidently… only to find her desk.

"…." Lukas looked around, approaching the desk. Noticing the dust on its surface, he blew it away and opened a drawer.

Inside were many sheets of paper, messily written and drawn, as if by a child.

…they were drawings Lukas had made himself.

Lukas looked through each one, the scribbled handwriting, the horribly rough sketches. On the largest piece of paper, there was a drawing of him holding hands with his mother.

"…I wonder what Mom's doing up in heaven," he said with a smile, putting the papers back into the drawer.

Just as he was about to leave, he noticed a strange letter tucked at the bottom. Frowning, he picked it up and opened it.

Dear Mommy,

Thank you for taking care of the two of us.

I am very grateful for everything you've done for us.

"This handwriting is so neat… why does it look familiar?" Lukas muttered, continuing to read.

I am always grateful for everything you've tried to give us.

But there's one thing I want to say…

Isn't it a bit unfair, Mom?

…?

Why do you only care about him, Mom?

He's just one person, so why is he all you care about?

You still have me, don't you?

Or is it that you care about him so much that you've forgotten about me?

Something felt wrong at this moment. Lukas kept reading.

It's so frustrating.

Instead of caring about him, can't you just care about me a little?

Do I mean nothing to you? I'm your daughter, aren't I?

Come on, tell me.

The more Lukas read, the worse he felt.

Why? Why, why, why, why?

I'm the daughter who needs your love, yet you don't care at all.

Dad is busy with work, and you only have this one job — to take care of the both of us — and you can't even do that?

Or… have you never loved me?

Suddenly, Lukas began to sweat.

He had a feeling that if he turned the letter over to read the back, he'd cross a point of no return.

But a dark curiosity compelled him to keep reading, so he flipped the letter over.

Today, my brother didn't cling to Mom as he usually does, but instead, he stayed close to me.

I've always hated him, Mom, because he's the one who took your love — the love that should have been mine.

Look at that foolish smile of his; it's dull, and you can tell he has no future.

Yet he sticks to me, happy to play with me.

It's annoying. Why doesn't he just go back to you? I don't need that pity.

Lukas looked at the final words on the letter.

It's frustrating.

Ever since he stopped paying attention to me and turned to you, I've felt this strange emptiness.

It's as if… I've lost something.

And every time I see him with you, this intense feeling flares up inside me.

Mom? Do you know what that feeling is?

The letter slipped from Lukas's hands, his eyes frozen in shock. He turned around to see the girl standing there, her red eyes hollow, like empty black holes.

"Big brother, I still don't understand this feeling."

"Every time I see you and Mom together, this feeling rises up, making me want to separate the two of you."

"I love Mom, but she never gave me the love she gave you. But you're different… you gave all of it to me."

"That's why I feel like Mom is no longer necessary, because I have my BIG BROTHER here, don't I?"

"Könntest du… Mamas Platz einnehmen und mir diese Liebe schenken?"

Somehow, Lukas's instincts screamed for him to run. He dashed toward the door, desperate to escape the mansion.

But as he threw open the front doors, he was confronted by a horrifyingly familiar scene.

"…No way."

In front of him lay a terrible accident scene.

A woman lay crushed, her blood splattered across the road, fragments of flesh scattered everywhere.

And in her arms, she held a boy, still safe.

Lukas stared into the lifeless eyes of the woman, her once-blonde hair now matching his own red hue.

"No… not like this." Lukas backed away, tears welling up in his eyes. He was terrified; he wanted nothing to do with this memory. This was his fault—if he hadn't run across the street back then…

Gasping for breath, Lukas tried to escape this reality, but just as he was about to flee, someone grabbed his hand.

"…." He slowly turned around to find his younger sister smiling at him softly.

"We're siblings. Mom isn't necessary for our relationship."

"L-Let go…"

"Don't worry, big brother. Every time I look at you, I feel so much love. You really are addictive, you know that?" Her grip tightened, causing pain to shoot through his hand.

"Even though love between siblings is forbidden, it would be an exception if my blood were different, wouldn't it? Maybe that's why our mother never loved me."

"LET GO!!"

"Big brother…"

This time, her voice was a soft whisper in his ear.

"If you need love… I'll give it to you. After all, it's not too late, is it?"

For some reason, his mind went blank, his body grew weak, and his awareness became hazy, as if he were under a spell. She smiled and guided him across their mother's lifeless body. Ahead, there was only darkness, a future that seemed as bleak and hopeless as ever...

...

[BAD END]

"HEY, YOU JERK! WHAT KIND OF HORRIBLE SCENARIO DID YOU WRITE FOR ME?!" Lukas yelled, grabbing her neck.

"T-That was to build character development!"

"YEAH RIGHT! LIKE I'D ACCEPT THAT! YOU MADE A ROMANTIC ROUTE BETWEEN ME AND MY SISTER?! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!"

"But—"

"NO BUTS! AND THANK YOU, READERS, FOR BEARING WITH THIS! JUST CONSIDER ALL OF THIS NON-CANON; IT WON'T AFFECT THE MAIN STORY!"

"L-Let me go!"

"BYE, EVERYONE! SEE YOU TOMORROW (I think)!!!"
