What are they, are they Pokémon?" – James asked curiously.

Jessie and Meowth also began to observe the machines with curiosity, however, tired of standing all the time, Jessie decided to sit down even if it was only for a few minutes, but unfortunately, she sat in the wrong place and pressed a button making a completely robotic voice speak.

"Cloning machine activated, Pokémon DNA sequence in progress" – the robotic voice.

And without warning, a robotic hand came out of nowhere and grabbed Meowth who couldn't dodge.

"Ahhhhh, help meeee!" – Meowth shouted.

"Meowth!" – Jessie and James shouted in surprise.

In a quick movement, they both pulled Meowth with the intention of freeing him and thanks to Arceus, they managed to do it in time because the machine almost swallowed poor Meowth and who knows what would have happened if that had happened.

However, Meowth looked at his tail, for apparently, before releasing him, the machine managed to pull a few hairs from his tail.

"Phew, I barely escape" - Meowth sighed.

But just when he wanted to say something else, the machine spoke again.

"DNA sequence recognized, processing... a match has been found, activating the cloning system" – the machine.

Suddenly, the three of them could watch another Meowth emerge from the machine, lying unconscious in another of those tubes, one that was empty.

"What just happened? Perhaps... is it me?" – Meowth asked looking at the other Meowth.

"It seems to be a clone" - James said.

But what they didn't know is that Mew was also there and watched the entire cloning process curiously.

With Ash.

"Well, now that everything is ready and when I complete my storm, I will create a world entirely for myself, where I will be the king, what irony, humans created me to fulfill their greed and now I am the one who will destroy them" – Mewtwo said.

"Are you planning to destroy all of us, even the Pokémon?" – I asked frowning.

Mewtwo looked at me and smiled.

"If you talk about those Pokémon that have joined you and act like miserable slaves, then yes, not one of them will be spared" - Mewtwo nodded.

But Pikachu didn't seem to agree with it and protested Mewtwo's words.

"Pika pi!" – Pikachu exclaimed.

This is interesting, are you telling me that you are not slaves, but friends and family?" – Mewtwo said.

"Pika pi" – Pikachu nodded.

"Stupid, you just talk stupid things" – Mewtwo said.

Then, he used his psychic powers and sent Pikachu flying, luckily, I was already prepared and I was able to catch her in time.

"Are you okay, Pikachu?" – I asked curiously.

"Pika pi" – Pikachu nodded.

While it is true that she had been thrown into the air, she did not actually suffer any damage thanks to her friend.

Okay, this is the moment, I have to say those words, they're key to the development of the movie, come on, Ash, breathe in and breathe out, come on, say those words.

"Since you're so strong... why don't you show me?" – I asked.

Then I smiled.

"Or are you afraid of losing?" – I asked with a confident smile.

More or less, it is not exactly what Ash said in the original film, but the purpose is the same.

"Did I hear correctly? Do you want to challenge me to a Pokémon battle?" – Mewtwo asked curiously.

"You said it yourself" – I nodded.

I don't want to do it because I already know the result, but... I have no choice, it's all for the reward, besides, if I do everything correctly, it will be a happy ending, so that's okay.

With Team Rocket.

After searching the gloomy room in search of answers, Team Rocket managed to find a kind of small screen where, after pressing a button, some images began to play.

"Two years ago, we discovered what seemed to be one of the oldest and strongest Pokémon in the world, Mew, when we discovered, a crazy idea arose in our mind, to create the strongest Pokémon of all, luckily, we managed to find enough Mew's DNA to achieve that, however, it was not until a few weeks ago that we continued with the project, the reason is because we lacked funds, but a rich and powerful person financed our project and we succeeded, we created the strongest Pokémon in the world after working for days, we named him "Mewtwo", but his psychic powers were so strong, that not even it could control himself, so we induced it into a coma until we thought of a way to control it, luckily we succeeded, but... " – the recording.

"The most powerful Pokémon of all, Mewtwo?" – James asked in amazement.

The others were going to say something else, but suddenly, something strange happened, as the three previously unconscious Kanto starters woke up, came out of their tubes and headed to a certain place completely ignoring Team Rocket who were looking at them in surprise.

With Ash.

As happened in the film, Mewtwo brought with him the three Kanto starters, namely Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur, but these were different because they had stigmata on their bodies.

"Alright, who will be the one to battle first?" – Mewtwo asked.

"I'll do it and show you the strength of my Pokémon, go ahead, Venusaur!" – said the boy with the orange clothes.

The boy's Venusaur came out onto the battlefield and right after, Mewtwo gestured to his Venusaur, which immediately came out to battle.

"Venusaur, use Razor Leaf!" – exclaimed the boy in the orange clothes.

Numerous blades sharp as blades were directed towards the other Venusaur, which was clearly a cloned Venusaur, however, the cloned Venusaur did not flinch and used Vine Whip to destroy all the blades with great ease, but that was not all because he immediately grabbed the other Venusaur and slammed it against the ground, weakening it completely.

"Venusaur!" – the boy shouted as he checked his Pokémon's body for wounds.

"The next one" – Mewtwo said without giving it any importance.

"He may have lost, but that doesn't mean we will too, come on, Blastoise!" – said the girl.

Exactly the same thing happened as before, the girl's Blastoise went out to the battlefield while Mewtwo made a gesture to his making him also go out to battle.

"Use Hydro Pump!" – the girl exclaimed.

A powerful jet of water was directed directly at the other Blastoise, who in one swift motion used a Rapid Spin that completely dispelled the attack of the girl's Blastoise, hitting the other Blastoise in the process and weakening it completely.

"Blastoise!" – the girl exclaimed as she went to check her Pokémon.

It's my turn, but... should I try to win if I have the chance? In the movie, Ash loses, but I want to try to win this battle, after all, the system allows me three error, although I don't know if I will be able to win.

I quickly went ahead and pulled the Pokéball out of my Charizard.

Charizard, I choose you!" – I exclaimed.

And my Charizard went out into the battlefield and the instant she did, she looked at the other Charizard very seriously, because she knew that this battle was not going to be easy.

"Charizard, use Flamethrower!" – I exclaimed.

"Char!" – said Charizard.

Then, she launched a powerful Flamethrower towards the other Charizard, which also used his own causing both attacks to collide.

At first, they both seemed tied in strength, but gradually, the clone began to beat my Charizard, so, in one quick move, I used the Modest Mint with my Charizard making her special attack empowered enough to tie with the clone.

Seeing that I couldn't continue like this because they were both tied, the clone stopped his attack and with an amazing speed, grabbed my Charizard and flew into the air.

"Same as in the movie, he's using Seismic Toss to smash him to the ground and weaken him" – I said to myself.

And he was right, because when he reached a certain height, the clone flew down at full speed towards the ground.

My Charizard tried to break free, but it couldn't, it was going to be smashed to the ground and it was going to lose if I didn't do something.

But soon I saw it, the other Charizard was unprotected in one place, although it is true that both would hurt each other if he used attacks like Flamethrower from such close range, there are other types of attacks that can be used at such close range.

"Charizard, use Slash against his side!" – I said.

That's right, close-range attacks like Slash can hit the clone, which had his stomach completely unprotected.

Listening to her trainer and best friend, Charizard's claws lit up and hit the clone's side making him have no choice but to let go of her due to the pain he received, but not before being hit by what seemed to be a Dragon Breath, causing both to fall to the ground as it was impossible to compose himself in time.

The impact of both against the ground caused a smokescreen, but when it left...
