Pokémon: Perfect Start

When Ash returned to the tent, Misty had already cleaned up the dishes.

"Oh? You've already cleaned up? Thanks."

"It's the least I could do. By the way, did you finish what you needed to do?"

"Yeah, the proposal was a success."

"Come on, don't joke like that."

Misty didn't believe Ash's claim about proposing, as she wasn't very familiar with him and didn't know his background. After tidying up, Ash and Misty each went to sleep. Since Charmander's tail was always on fire, Ash had to return it to its Luxury Ball. Ralts, being clingy, needed Ash to hold it while sleeping, while the other Pokémon found their spots to rest. Meowth had prepared a small sleeping bag for itself, and Pikachu slept beside Ash.

Being a girl, Misty found it a bit hard to fall asleep next to a handsome guy like Ash. However, after seeing Ash holding Ralts and Pikachu in his sleep, she smiled and soon drifted off.

The next morning, when Misty woke up, Ash was already training his Pokémon. Meowth was sharpening its claws, Chansey was practicing its arm strength by throwing rocks, and the egg in its pouch was being watched by Ash. Growlithe and Charmander were spitting flames while dodging rocks, with Pikachu as their target. Ralts was practicing its psychic abilities.

"Oh? You're awake? Just wait a bit, I'll prepare breakfast."

"Alright." Seeing that Ash had already prepared breakfast, Misty helped set the table.

After finishing their training, Ash and Misty had breakfast and set off again. As Ash looked at the rainbow in the sky after the rain, he spotted a colorful Pokémon flying by, and his expression changed.

"Huh? Wait! Meowth! Everyone! Quick! Let's take a photo with it! Hurry! Misty, you too! Come on!"

In Misty's confusion, Ash released all his Pokémon and had Meowth remotely control the camera to take a group photo.

"Hurry! Meowth, start taking continuous shots! Make sure they're clear!"

"Got it, Meowth!"

Ash, Misty, and their Pokémon took several photos with the Pokémon flying toward the rainbow.

As the Pokémon began to fly away, Misty asked, "Uh, Ash, what Pokémon is that?"

"That's Ho-Oh, a legendary Pokémon from the Johto region. Some people never get to see it in their lifetime! Quick, strike a pose!"

Hearing it was Ho-Oh, Misty was shocked. Seeing that it indeed matched the legendary descriptions, she panicked, "Ho-Oh? Oh no, I'm not wearing any makeup!"

"No time for makeup! Hurry up, or it'll fly away!"

"I know!"

Finally, with Meowth's remote control, Ash, Misty, and all their Pokémon took a big group photo.

Looking at the pile of photos, Ash said with satisfaction, "Great! Seeing a legendary Pokémon right at the start of the journey couldn't be better! I wonder if Professor Oak will be jealous. This is a photo with a legendary Pokémon!"

"Meowth, I look great in the photo, Meowth!"

"Pika Pika!"

"Lucky!"

Misty looked at Ash and asked, "I thought you'd say something like surpassing Ho-Oh with your Pokémon."

Hearing this, Ash replied with a bit of exasperation, "That's so childish. No thanks, this is fine. I'm not some hot-headed fool. Instead of saying things like that, it's better to have a group photo. These are the truly precious things, these wonderful memories."

As he spoke, Ash sent Misty her copy of the photo and said, "Keep it safe. I'm planning to print these out. My journey has started perfectly!"

Seeing Ash like this, Misty suddenly had an idea. Maybe traveling with Ash would be a great experience? So she asked him, "Uh, Ash, can I travel with you?"

Ash looked at Misty, seeing her nervous expression, and smiled, "Of course, no problem."
