Arcanine seemed to really enjoy the big pot meal.

It licked its bowl clean and then looked at Natsume with eager eyes.

Naoki took Arcanine's bowl with a smile: "There's still more."

Natsume patted Arcanine's head: "After eating so much, you'll need to show off your strength later."

"Awooo!"

Arcanine responded confidently.

In a battle, it would definitely not lose!

Luxray slightly raised its head, staring directly at Arcanine.

Electric-type Pokémon and Fire-type Pokémon have similar temperaments.

Both are quite straightforward.

Luxray didn't think it would be unable to defeat this big dog!

he trusted that Arcanine could locate Luxray by scent!

Inside the smoke, another loud collision echoed.

"Luxray!"

Luxray was slammed out of the smoke's grasp by the high-speed charging Arcanine.

Natsume continued to command, "Howl!"

"Awooo~"

Arcanine's howl echoed through the smoke.

"Luxray, are you okay?"

"Luxray!"

Luxray stood back up from the ground.

"Be careful; Arcanine is very fast."

Naoki ordered, "Let's wait for Arcanine to attack and then counterattack!"

Natsume smiled: "You want to counterattack?"

"Arcanine, use Agility, then Extreme Speed!"

As the smoke cleared, Arcanine's silhouette became more defined.

Naoki's expression suddenly turned anxious: "Luxray, use Thunderbolt right away!"

Zzap~

Arcanine charged out of the smoke.

It saw the lightning coming toward it and momentarily swayed its body!

Boom~

The lightning struck the ground instead, missing entirely.

Meanwhile, Arcanine's body rushed right in front of Luxray.

Boom!

Luxray was sent flying once again!

The speed after using Agility made Arcanine incredibly fast.

Coupled with the boost from Howl, that strike caused Luxray to lose consciousness.

"Return, Luxray!"

Naoki recalled his Luxray and then took out Krokorok's Poké Ball.

"Go, Krokorok!"

Krokorok's level was even lower than Luxray's, and Arcanine's condition was superb at this point!

"Arcanine, use Extreme Speed!"

Naoki took a deep breath: "Don't underestimate us!"

"Krokorok, use Sand Tomb right under your feet!"

Natsume was slightly taken aback: "What?"

The ground beneath Krokorok quickly collapsed.

Arcanine, rushing in at high speed, slammed into Krokorok, and they both fell into the swirling sands of the sand tomb.

Naoki wiped the sweat from his forehead: "Don't think you can easily win this battle!"

Krokorok's Sand Tomb formed a deep pit.

Inside the pit, a sandstorm erupted, engulfing both Pokémon.

"Arcanine, can you break free?"

"Awooo!"

Arcanine tried to charge out, but Krokorok suddenly lunged forward and hugged Arcanine closely.

Arcanine immediately felt a surge of fierce energy erupting within its heart.

Whoosh~

Flames ignited on Arcanine's body.

Boom~

A massive column of fire shot into the sky from the depths of the Sand Tomb.

Notice: Your Arcanine learned Fire Spin automatically!

The Sand Tomb has been replaced by Fire Spin.

"What the hell!"

Naoki exclaimed, "What kind of move is this?"

Natsume was also taken aback.

After realizing what had happened, Natsume said, "This move should be called Fire Spin!"

Krokorok, engulfed in flames, lost its Battle Capability in the burning pit.

Arcanine dispelled the flames and jumped up, carrying Krokorok in its mouth.

"This..."

Naoki chuckled wryly, "I can't believe you just pulled that on me."

"I was hoping to have a match with your Dratini."

Natsume replied, "Let's battle next time. For now, I'll heal your Pokémon first."

Snivy stood to the side, watching Arcanine and then Natsume.

Humans choose Pokémon.

Similarly, Pokémon will choose the Trainer they recognize.

Although their time together had been short, Snivy had already grown fond of this place.

But the proud Snivy wouldn't directly tell Natsume that it already acknowledged them.

Words like "I admit you can be my Trainer" were far too much for it.

Snivy's pride meant it would prove its worth on the Battle arena after making a decision.
