Pokémon Kyanite and Copper (Revised Version)

Chapter 14: Chapter 14 - Training Began

And so, the training had began.

"Let's start with Defense Training," Ben boldly started the training. "If your Pokémon had high defense, the more likely it'll resist any attacks from its opponents."

"Oh, okay then," Rico get what Ben just taught him.

"Now, Staraptor, fly high, and use Gust!" Ben commanded Staraptor.

Staraptor then used Gust, flying high and flapping its wings repeatedly, whipping up a gust of wind.

And as Riolu tries to resist the gust of wind, Rico cheered for it, but it didn't last long because Riolu got blown away by Staraptor's Gust.

Analyzing and evaluating Riolu's situation, Ben made a note, "Hmm, it needed more training."

Not long after, Rico and Riolu are on the sands doing push-ups repeatedly as Ben's training for them. By 6 in the morning, the pair are running across the beach as Ben, riding on Staraptor, give chase to them.

Later when 7 o'clock struck, their training was done, and Rico and Riolu are bit exhausted from their hard training. But Ben and his Staraptor and Pichu was happy that they are in progress.

"Well!" Ben said to them. "This is for today. Let's take a break."

Panting heavily, Rico wiped off his sweat and commented, "This was so hard."

Riolu then responded with exhaustion as it pants.

"Of course," Ben positively responded back. "Pokémon training wasn't easy."

Catching his breath, Rico replied back, "I know."

After that, Ben asked Rico if he had any plans for the weekends.

"Well," Rico answered back while thinking, "I planned to pay my childhood friend Wesley a visit at the town of Muñoz on Saturday."

Understanding what Rico just said, Ben agreed with him, "Okay, sure, I'll be continuing my investigation regarding the Pokémon Pinchers."

"Sure, why not."

By 7:07 a.m., Rico and Riolu parted ways with Ben and his team and went back home to eat breakfast and prepare for school.
