Three Legendary Birds?

Alright.

Alex initially compared the Legendary Birds in the real world to their in-game counterparts.

Little did he know...

Every Legendary Pokémon has devastating power in the real world, and those with priest-like roles are even more terrifying.

"But I can't use the Thunder of Zapdos yet," Alex muttered with some regret before decisively purchasing the item.

Although it wasn't usable for now, a legendary item like this couldn't be missed.

"Maybe in the future, Charizard can also harness the power of lightning."

Holding his Charmander in his arms, Alex squinted his eyes, contemplating the feasibility.

His teacher's Arcanine could handle it.

His Charizard?

It might work too.

Moreover, his Charmander already had a god-level talent.

In terms of physical fitness and potential, it was top-tier. If anyone could handle playing with both flames and thunder, it would be Charmander.

Before long, Alex bought all eleven items on his list.

Although it cost him half a month's living expenses, the gains were incredible:

A Charmander with god-level talent.

The Legendary Zapdos Origin Thunder.

Experience multipliers.

A random Pokémon Egg with champion-level potential.

Three learning machines, Poké Balls, item fragments, and more.

From an ordinary freshman in the Battle Department of Gangnam Pokémon University, Alex had transformed into someone with a solid foundation for becoming a champion!

"Charmander, I'm counting on you!" Alex said passionately, stretching out his fist.

Charmander.

The epitome of loyalty and bravery.

Even though Charizard could be rebellious early on, its late-game potential made it one of the strongest Champion Ace Pokémon.

Alex had high hopes for his Charmander with its god-level talent.

"Char!" Charmander responded excitedly, its big, bright eyes gleaming as it extended its tiny fist to bump Alex's.

At that moment, their bond was solidified.

Room 427

As Charmander was born, Alex's three roommates also saw their Pokémon eggs hatch.

Mike, the boisterous second roommate, hatched a Machop—a strong Fighting-type Pokémon that fit Mike's tall and sturdy Northeast personality.

Peter, the youngest, hatched a Meowth.

Chris, the calm fourth roommate, saw his egg hatch into a Lotad.

"Congratulations!" Alex said sincerely to Mike.

Although Machop wasn't as impressive as Charmander, it was far from being a weak Bug-type like Caterpie or Weedle. It had strong growth potential.

"Machop, let's get stronger together!" Mike declared, quickly warming up to his new companion.

---

Peter, however, was less enthusiastic about his Meowth.

Seeing his downcast expression, Alex offered some comforting words.

"Don't feel bad, Peter. Meowth isn't weak. If you evolve it into a Persian, it could definitely help you become a great professional trainer."

Alex wasn't exaggerating.

A Persian's strength depended entirely on its trainer. Giovanni's Persian was an example of how powerful it could be under the right conditions.

"Thank you, Alex. I'll give it my best shot," Peter said, his spirits lifting slightly as he held his adorable Meowth, who was trying hard to cheer him up with its antics.

"You know," Peter said, smiling as he hugged Meowth, "it's actually kind of cute."

---

Chris, meanwhile, was content with Lotad.

"Lotad's unique typing gives it interesting potential," Chris said thoughtfully.

Mike, on the other hand, couldn't stop taking photos of Machop.

"Machop is a powerhouse! Fighting-types are always in demand!" he boomed, sending photos to his family and friends.

---

With the hatching complete, Alex reminded his roommates, "Don't forget, the instructor said to report your Pokémon and upload their photos once they've hatched."

The news of Alex's Charmander had already spread across the freshman class—and even reached some sophomores and juniors, who envied his luck.

So far, no other freshman had hatched a starter Pokémon like Charmander. The closest were a few notable Psychic-types like Abra and Psyduck.

Gangnam Pokémon University Announcement

More than half of the first-year students have successfully hatched their Pokémon. It's expected that all freshmen will have their Pokémon within three days.

Freshman military training will tentatively begin on October 1st. This field training will help improve the abilities of novice trainers.

Top performers in the military training, including the first-place winner, top three, and top ten, will receive generous rewards from the school. Please prepare accordingly.

---

"Military training for freshmen. A time-honored tradition," Alex mused.

Each year, Gangnam Pokémon University introduced new students to the world of Pokémon training with intensive survival training. Pokémon eggs were distributed during the first month, giving students time to bond with their new partners before training began.

"Charmander, let's get ready for this challenge!" Alex said confidently.

"Char!" Charmander replied, just as determined.
