In the canteen of the orphanage, when the children go to school now, the orphanage only needs to cook dinner.
This does not have much impact.
Even on Saturdays and Sundays, those little girls are by Evan's side, and Evan can help solve the problem.
This allows the aunties to focus on running the shop and making the low-level energy cubes Evan needs.
No more running around cooking.
These arrangements have been decided.
When they returned to the breeding house, Evan also spoke directly to Gallade.
"Starting from tomorrow, our lunch will be left to you."
"Lucario," he added, "this is a meal for four people. Please familiarize yourself with Gallade."
Listening to Evan, Lucario suddenly felt that the energy cube in his hand no longer smelled as appetizing.
Tearing up, Lucario thought, Will I become the God of Cooking from tomorrow?
Lucario, a champion-level Pokémon, had fallen to such a low level!
Absolutely outrageous.
At that moment, Gardevoir couldn't help but speak up:
"Teach me too."
"I want to learn as well."
Upon hearing this, Gallade looked at his sister.
Evan was very surprised and asked, "Are you sure you want to learn too? Don't regret it."
Evan blinked. Well, if Gardevoir learned these things, she'd be like a maid-chan.
Hiss~~! A super maid—just thinking about it made him feel great.
"Yes, I also want to learn. I want to make delicious food for you," Gardevoir said as she stuffed an energy cube into her mouth.
Not only did she want to learn how to cook, but she also wanted to learn how to make energy cubes.
She wanted to be an all-around Pokémon.
Seeing her determination, Evan looked at Gallade.
"Did you hear that? Your sister wants to learn."
"I heard it, and I saw it," Gallade replied, rolling his eyes at Evan.
"Okay," Lucario agreed. "Since your sister wants to learn, let's study together."
As Gallade agreed, the other two Kirlia eagerly raised their hands, indicating they also wanted to learn.
Seeing their enthusiasm, Evan naturally agreed to let them join.
"Then I'll get the ingredients for you later," he said. "Pots, pans, and all the other tools will be prepared for you."
He just hoped his kitchen wouldn't explode next time.
What if Gardevoir suddenly yelled, and the pots and pans started flying everywhere? That would be really something.
Evan didn't dwell on it too much.
After making the arrangements, he turned to Isla and the others, saying:
"Come on, help me deal with some challenging materials first. The next few days will be busy."
"A dragon-type energy cube that enhances physical strength," he continued. "By the way, I'll teach you some knowledge about top-level dragon-type energy cubes. The basics can also help when you're making intermediate ones."
With that, Evan headed directly to the workshop.
He needed to deal with the materials left by that guy before.
The various dragon-type materials were some of the hardest to come by.
It was like working with iron—very troublesome.
In an entire afternoon, the others could barely handle a few materials.
They even almost broke the machine.
It was clear how difficult these materials were to process.
Moreover, these materials likely came from champion-level Pokémon.
Not too surprising, considering their extraordinary quality. The energy cubes produced were equally high quality.
After dealing with these tasks, Evan checked the warehouse after dinner to confirm if the materials were sufficient.
Finding a few items missing, he recorded them and sent messages to the fruit vendors to deliver them the next day.
To be honest, those fruit dealers practically regarded Evan as their God of Wealth now.
Evan had given them so much business during this period.
After making arrangements with the vendors, he went to bed.
The next day, just after dawn, barking dogs from downstairs interrupted the morning quiet.
Hearing the commotion, Gardevoir and the others immediately came over.
Then, Gardevoir used Teleport to break into Evan's room. She woke him up from his sleep.
"Master, there's movement in the egg hatching house," Gardevoir urgently conveyed through telepathy.
Upon hearing this, Evan instantly became alert.
As he climbed out of bed, Evan heard barking coming from downstairs.
Without hesitation, he slipped on his shoes and rushed down.
The sound grew clearer as he descended.
"Grow Grow Grow!"
An energetic bark echoed from the egg hatching house.
Evan hurried to the source and opened the door.
Inside, he spotted several fluffy puppies emerging from where the Growlithe eggs had been placed.
Since the eggs were separated by glass, the newborns couldn't escape. This setup was designed to prevent any sudden hatches from causing havoc among the surrounding eggs.
This time, a total of three Growlithe had hatched.
Seeing Evan, the three little Growlithe barked even more excitedly.
Their tiny tails wagged furiously as they yipped in delight.
"Grow Grow Grow!"
"Grow!"
Evan chuckled softly. "Alright, alright, I'm here. Calm down, little ones."
He couldn't help but smile at their energy, though he hadn't anticipated their early hatching.
He realized the detector on his app hadn't been activated, which is why he hadn't been alerted immediately.
Shrugging off the oversight, Evan signed in with Gardevoir and opened the incubator.
The moment the lid came off, the Growlithe pups bounded towards him, their tiny tails whipping the air as they barked and jumped.
They wagged their tails even more wildly as if saying, We're hungry!
Other Pokémon began gathering to watch the commotion. Evan turned to Lucario.
"Lucario, could you get some MooMoo Milk from the fridge and heat it up with Scald?"
Lucario nodded, sparing a glance at the little Growlithe before heading off to fetch the milk.
Gallade quickly followed Lucario, eager to observe and learn. Gardevoir, after a thoughtful glance, joined them as well.
Evan focused on the newborns, picking up the three Growlithe one by one. As he cradled them, they happily licked his face, their small tongues tickling him.
"Alright, alright, settle down. Lucario's getting milk for you, so be patient."
At his words, the pups quieted down, looking up at him with big, pleading eyes.
Evan carried them to a nearby examination room for a health check.
After confirming they were all healthy, he retrieved a set of new Poké Balls and held them out.
"Now, don't resist. I'll put you in these Poké Balls for now, okay?"
The Growlithe trio wagged their tails and barked in agreement.
"Grow Grow~~!"
Seeing their cooperation, Evan tapped each of them gently with a Poké Ball, capturing all three puppies with ease.
