pokemon Fighting Dreamers

It was a brand new day, Bea and Cinderace were packing up everything to get back on track meanwhile Ash was still asleep, unlike the last few days, Bea was wearing a short-sleeved white shirt along her black shorts.

''Cinderace, come here a sec.'' Bea called.

''What's wrong?'' Her pokemon asked getting closer.

''Our battle with Ash made me realize that some of your moves are...pretty situational, so we should change that a bit, let's replace Pyro Ball with Fire Blast.'' She said pulling an orange disc out of the case.

''What?! NO!'' Cinderace exclaimed.

''Why not?'' Bea asked.

''Pyro Ball is my signature move! You can't just make me forget it!''

''I...don't see your point.'' Her trainer gave the rabbit a weird look.

''It's like if you made Oshawott forget Razor Shell! What's he's gonna do with that thing on his belly?!''

''Fine, let's replace Scorching Sands then, by the way how did you use it in the middle of the forest? All the grass was intact, where did you got the sand from?''

''Oh you know...Science...Molecules...Convenience.''

Bea then took a couple of TRs and showed them to Cinderace one by one ''Alright, how about Zen Headbutt?''

''Meh, what else do you have?''

''U-turn?'' Bea continued to ask.

''I'm not a coward.''

''Sucker Punch?''

''Sucker Punch...You want me to PUNCH...with this things?'' Cinderace said raising her paws. ''They look like sausages! ...Wait.''

''Coaching?''

''I'm the Striker Pokemon, I hit hard, I hit fast, the last thing you want to do is to give me support moves.''

''You're not making this any easier.''

''Meh, forget all of this, just give me back High Jump Kick.''

''It'll be High Jump kick then.''

They then heard a yawn behind them and saw Ash coming out of his tent wearing his pajamas.

''Oh, Ash, you're finally awake.'' Bea said still searching for the TR Cinderace asked for.

''Sorry, Bea, I was...'' Ash stopped talking as he looked at Bea with a bit of a shocked face.

''Is something wrong?'' Bea asked.

''Oh nothing, I just...I guess I didn't expect you to be in different clothes.''

''What do you mean? You use the same clothes everyday?''

''No...'' Ash looked to the side. ''I have lots of clothes...but they all look the same.''

''Why?'' Bea asked again.

''So I don't...waste time choosing?'' Ash looked to the sides again and started sweating. ''By the way, that shirt really looks good on you.'' He said trying to change the topic.

''Really?'' She asked with a faint blush on her cheeks.

''Yeah, you look...kinda like a golfer...anyway, What are you guys doing?''

''Uhm...I'm changing Cinderace's moves with some TRs.''

''TRs?'' Ash asked.

''You know what they are, right?''

''Yes, I mean, I've seen them, But I don't know how to use them.''

''Well, if that's the case then I'll explain it to you.''

Bea clapped two times and a screen of smoke appeared, when the smoke was gone, the camp had been turned into a classroom, Bea was wearing a teacher outfit standing next to her desk while Ash was wearing a school uniform and was sitting on a chair.

Ash blinked and looked around confused. ''Wait, what did jus-''

''TR stands for Technical Record.'' Bea interrupted pointing with a rod at a whiteboard with several colored discs on it ''These are discs that give new moves to a Pokemon, there are also some variations like TMs and Hms, Pokemon learn moves on their own all the time, but the TRs are made to help them get access to new moves easier, As you know Pokemon can only have four moves, so in case that the pokemon already has 4 moves it will have to decide which move it wants to forget in order to gain the new one, once the choice is made, the data of the disc will mix with DNA of the Pokemon replacing the move and the Pokemon will be able to use it normally.'' She then looked at Ash who was raising his hand. ''Is everything alright, Ash? You look confused.''

''It's nothing, let's just say that's not the way I thought they worked.''

''Well, why don't you share with the class the way you thought TRs worked?''

''Uh, there's no class...I'm the only one here.'' Ash said looking around again. ''But I thought that since it was a disc, you would just play it somewhere and make the Pokemon watch it.''

''Very nice hypothesis, Ash.'' Bea said with a smile. ''In fact that's how TRs used to work before, but there was problem with that method, look at this.'' Bea pointed at the whiteboard again and three drawings appeared, a Charizard, a Venasaur and a Blastoise. ''Most Pokemon moves are basic things, for example, the move Earthquake, it simply consists in making the ground shake.'' As Bea finished the sentence, the three drawings started to move and used the move Earthquake making the whole classroom shake. ''But things become more complicated with other kinds of moves, Let's try with Aerial Ace.'' The three drawings of the whiteboard turned into an Arcanine, a Greninja and a Swellow. ''This time, it gets more specific, to use Aerial Ace, most Pokemon including Swellow will simply speed up and hit the opponent with its wings, however there are Pokemon that don't have wings but can still use this move, Arcanine will rush at the opponent and then tackle it. meanwhile Greninja will concentrate the energy on its hands and use the move as blades.'' The three drawings then showcased their versions of the move. ''As you see there's no just one way to use a move, that's why TRs had to updated so every Pokemon could use it own its own way.''

''That sounds complicated.'' Ash said trying to take notes with a notebook he found under his chair.

''Don't worry, you get used to it after a while, just think about it as an inverse Poke Ball, instead of the Pokemon getting inside the Poke Ball, is the move that gets inside the Pokemon, got it?

''I think so.''

'Very well, now look, this is a TR case.'' Bea showed Ash a small cylindrical yellow case. 'Now pay attention, we'll replace one of Cinderace's moves.'' She said as Cinderace appeared from beneath her desk looking confused.

''Bea, what's going on here?'' The rabbit asked looking around just like Ash did earlier. ''And why are dressed like that?''

''No time to explain, here, let's show Ash how to use a TR.'' She handed the disc to her Pokemon and the latter took it on her hands.

''Uh, sure.'' Both Cinderace and the disc then started glowing, when the light died down the disc was gone.

''There, now Cinderace forgot Scorching Sands and learned High Jump Kick, why don't you show us?'' Another puff of smoke made a fighting dummy appear.

''Seriously, you're starting to scare me, what's going on?'' The rabbit asked.

''Just kick it!''

''Alright, alright!'' Cinderace jumped and charged against the dummy with her right knee breaking it in half.

''Wow!'' Ash exclaimed.

''Thanks, Cinderace, anymore questions?'' Bea asked and her ''student'' raised his hand. ''Yes, Ash?''

''Uhm...How do Primeapes use Iron Tail?'' He asked.

''Well, if there are no more question then the class is dismissed.'' Bea ignored Ash's question and double clapped again, with a puff of smoke everything returned to normal.

''What the hell was all that?!'' Cinderace asked.

''So, Ash, you want to teach a move to your Pokemon?'' Bea asked with her TR case in hand. ''We could give Oshawott an Ice Beam for example.''

''No thanks, I appreciate it, but I prefer to let my Pokemon learn moves on their own.''

''As you wish, but if you ever need a TR, don't hesitate in asking me.''

''Of course, well, I'll change myself up, see ya in a minute.'' Ash went back to his tent leaving Bea and Cinderace alone.

''A golfer? Should I take that as a compliment?'' Bea was a bit confused by that unconventional praise that Ash gave her earlier, but hey, Ash told her she looked good, perhaps she'll be wearing those clothes more often, who knows?

''It's hard to tell with him.'' Cinderace said. ''But well, love is complicated.''

''Cinderace, I'm not in love.'' She answered as the rabbit sighed.

''Alright, here we go, fellas.'' Cinderace pulled out a greek muse dress from Bea's backpack. ''I won't say I'm love take 1, and a 1 and a 2 and a 3 AAAND-''

''Cinderace look, I think Ash is a really nice person and I'm very happy to be traveling with him, but I think that saying I'm in love is taking things a bit too far.''

''Yeah sure, keep telling yourself that.'' The rabbit said with an unconvinced look. ''My name is not the one that's between two square brackets.''

''What was that?'' Cinderace heard something coming from the bushes and quickly stood in front of Bea to protect her if necessary.

''Dang, where did those two ended up?'' A kantonian Meowth said as he came out of the bushes looking lost.

''Oh, it's just a Meowth'' Cinderace relaxed and then looked at her trainer who had a confused look. ''You okay?''

''I don't know, I think I-''

''Hey, what are you looking at?'' The cat asked surprising Bea.

''I...I can understand him..'' She said unbelieving.

''You can?'' Cinderace asked.

''Yeah, I'm pretty sure.''

''Hey, I'm talking to you!'' Meowth talked again seeing that they were ignoring him.

''He said 'I'm talking to you' Bea repeated to Cinderace.

''Yes, he did!'' Cinderace said shocked.

''Maybe he knows...Hey, you! Meowth!'' Bea called the Pokemon as she got closer to him.

''What do you want?'' Meowth asked.

''I can understand you!'' She said excited.

''So?''

''I mean, I can understand what you say, you're a Pokemon but I understand what you're saying, just like I understand Cinderace.''

While Bea was trying to have a conversation with Meowth, Cinderace realized something ''Uh, Bea he's actually talk-''

''Do you know anything about this?'' She pointed at her hairband ignoring Cinderace.

''Why would I?'' Meowth continued to ask confused.

''Alright, let's rewind...I...Can...Understand...you.'' Bea said slowly trying to explain her point.

''Of course you can!'' Meowth shouted annoyed.

''So, you do know about my hairband?'' Bea asked again.

''I told you I don't know anything about that thing!''

Cinderace then tried to talk with her trainer again. ''Bea, listen, he's-''

''Meowth, there you are!'' A feminine voice called as two people with white uniforms came from the bushes.

''Jessie, James, get me away from this weird girl!'' Meowth said as he got closer to his partners.

''Why? What has she done?'' Jessie asked.

''Did you had another Purrloin situation with her weird-looking Lopunny?'' James asked jokingly.

''What did you just call me?!'' Cinderace complained.

''Wait.'' Bea said as she approached at the two people. ''You two can understand him?''

''Of course we can.'' Jessie answered. ''Don't you hear? He's speaking fluent english.''

''He is?'' Bea asked.

''Yes, that's what I was trying to tell you.'' Cinderace answered.

''But I...'' Bea took off her hairband and got closer to Meowth ''Talk with me, please.''

''What's wrong with you?!'' Meowth yelled.

''I see...'' Bea said disappointed. ''Sorry, I though I-''

''Hey, Bea, I was thinking...'' Ash said coming out of his tent already dressed and with Pikachu on his shoulder. ''What if we-''

''Twerp!''

''Team Rocket!''

''Twerp's Pikachu!''

''Pika!''

''What?'' Both Cinderace and Bea asked confused.

''Bea, what are you doing with Team Rocket?!'' Ash asked.

''With whom?'' Bea asked.

''Wait, these are the guys you were talking about last night?'' Cinderace asked worried to Pikachu.

''Yes, that's them!'' as Pikachu answered, Cinderace quickly stood between Team Rocket and Bea.

''Cinderace, what's wrong?''

''Stay back, Bea, they're evil!''

''They're evil? You're evil?!'' She asked to them and the trio laughed.

''Oh, what can we say?'' Jessie laughed.

''We're not evil, we're just...'' James said.

''Up to no good!'' Meowth completed the phrase.

''Shut up, you discount cat!'' Cinderace then launched a Pyro Ball against team Rocket to protect her trainer.

''Wobbufett, do your thing!'' Jessie released the Pokemon from its ball and its body was surrounded by a white aura Creating an energy shield that launched the Pyro ball back at Cinderace exploding on her chest

''Cinderace, are you okay?!''

''I'm fine, I'm fine *cough*''

Suddenly everything turned dark and two spotlights appeared focusing on Jessie and james.

''Prepare for trouble!''

''And make it double!''

''Uhm, What are they doing?'' Bea asked to Ash.

''They're reciting their motto.'' Ash answered rolling his eyes a bit annoyed.

''To protect the world from devastation!''

''To unite all peoples within our nation!''

''So, are we supposed to wait until they're done?'' Bea asked again.

''Well, that's why I normally do.'' Ash raised his shoulders.

''To denounce the evils of truth and love!''

''To extend our reach to the stars above!''

''Why don't we attack them now while they're distracted?'' Bea continued to ask.

''Eh...it's a matter of etiquette I guess.''

''Jessie!''

''James!''

''How long does this take?!'' Bea was starting to get desperate.

''They're almost done...I think.''

''Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light!''

''Surrender now or prepare to-''

''WILL YOU SHUT UP?!'' Bea finally yelled.

''Don't interrupt us newbie twerpette!'' Jessie said. ''Don't you know the basics of being a twerp?!''

''Yeah and what's with you twerp?'' James continued. ''Changing your twerp friends every now and then.''

''At least it was funny when the rock twerp stayed around, but now you're just shuffling random twerps.'' Meowth finished the complaints and Ash simply sighed.

''Would you stop saying twerp?'' Bea said even more annoyed. ''You probably don't even know what that means!''

''Of course we do! right, Jess?''

''Of course! It means...What does it means, Meowth?''

''Team Rocket...WHY DO YOU HAVE TO KEEP FOLLOWING ME?!'' Ash shouted to the four winds.

''Oh, come on, you know you missed us twerp.'' Jessie said with a grin.

''And since you ask we didn't know you were here'' James explained. ''The world doesn't revolve around you.''

''The boss sent us to inform him about to the power of Dynamax.'' Meowth said. ''But since our favorite twerp is here too, why don't we kill two Pidgeys with one Rock Slide?''

''That would be a good idea...IF IT WASN'T BY THE FACT THAT I HAVE DEFEATED YOU MORE THAN A THOUSAND TIMES!'' Ash yelled to the eight winds this time, he was really expecting that Galar would be the good region without having to deal with Team Rocket..

''Don't get cocky Twerp, everyone knows the 1263th is the charm.'' James pulled out a remote control from his pocket, the ground then began shaking as two big metallic spikes appeared from beneath it, the spikes then started to rise up to reveal a giant mecha of a Bisharp standing 50 meters tall.

''Meet the Dyna-Bisharp Mecha! We ordered this one to be extra big to fit with the theme!'' James said as he pressed another button, the giant robot lowered one of its claws, team Rocket then stood on top of the claw as they were lifted up to the robot's eyes, which they entered.

''That's a...giant Robot...'' Bea articulated her sentence with a bit of difficulty due to the disbelief. ''You're seeing the giant robot too, right?''

''Yes, Bea, I'm seeing the giant robot.'' Ash answered unimpressed.

''You have to admit that was a good entrance...'' Cinderace said.

''Meh, I've seen better.'' Pikachu said as unimpressed as his trainer. ''But if they aren't here for Ash then what was the robot for?''

''Alright, Twerps, last warning!'' Meowth's voice was heard from inside the robot's head through a speaker. ''Surrender all your Pokemon and no one gets hurt!''

''That's not gonna happen!'' Ash said while Bea was still processing the situation.

''It's your choice!''

The giant robot crossed its arms releasing a massive beam of energy from the edge on its claws that exploded in the ground making the trainers and their Pokemon fly back. While they were lying on the ground the robot got closer and grabbed Pikachu with one its claws.

''Pikachu!'' Ash quickly jumped on top of the claw and tried to free Pikachu with no results, the robot raised it claw and then opened its mouth letting Ash and Pikachu fall onto it as a THUD was heard. The robot then closed its mouth as Team Rocket laughed victorious.

''One twerp a day keeps the nurse Joy away!''

''Ash!'' Bea and Cinderace tried to get close to the robot but two rockets appeared under the robot's feet creating a gust that prevented them from doing so, the mecha then flew away Leaving the girl and her Pokemon behind.

''Later, newbie twerpette, TR is out, peace!'' James said through the speakers.

''Wait, TR?'' Jessie asked.

''Yeah, it stands for Team Rocket.'' James explained. ''Doesn't it sounds funky?''

Meanwhile down in the ground Cinderace and Bea were running trying to keep the pace of the robot.

''Well, this just went from How to Basic to Ultraman to Mission: Impossible real quick, huh?''

''Could you stop talking like that for 5 seconds?!'' Bea yelled to her. ''We have to save Ash!''

''Yeah, yeah, but how? You think Rufflet can go up there?''

''He can't, at least not alone.'' She pulled her TR case out of her backpack and took a light blue one. ''Here, Cinderace, Bounce!''

''Got it!'' Cinderace absorbed the move as her eyes turned into a light blue she then grabbed Bea and jumped high in the air landing on the Mecha's back.

''Well, that was easy.'' Cinderace said as they were trying to hold onto the fuselage, suddenly a section of it opened and a small robotic arm carrying a camera appeared from it, it then looked directly at Bea and Cinderace.

''Oh, the newbie twerpette wants to fight back?'' Jessie's voice sounded through the camera.

''Let Ash go!'' Bea shouted.

''Or else what?'' The woman asked.

''OR ELSE THIS!'' Bea raised her fist and landed a strong punch on the camera breaking it into pieces.

''She just punched the camera...'' James said from the cabin seeing the screen turned into static.

''Where does the twerp get these people from?'' Meowth asked.

''Hump, I like her, she has quite the attitude.'' Jessie said.

''Whatever, Meowth, speed up and get higher'' James ordered. ''Let's try to get her off the ship.''

''We need a way to get inside.'' Back outside the fuselage were Bea and Cinderace trying to make up a plan.

''I know, give me a second.'' Bea was searching in her TR case for an specific move. ''Come on, come on...Here!''

''I got it!'' Cinderace grabbed the disc with her mouth still trying to hold and absorbed the move.

''Now, Overheat!'' Cinderace's body was surrounded by red hot energy, Bea slowly separated as the heat rose up, the metal beneath Cinderace started to melt and she then expelled a big blast of fire making a hole in the fuselage, getting inside of the robot.

''Good job!'' Bea said still from outside the fuselage.

''Yeah, but now it's too hot for you to get through the hole.'' Cinderace said as she watched the metal was still melting.

''Here, catch this!'' Bea tossed a brown TR through the hole and Cinderace caught it with her paws.

''Hold up, how did you perfectly toss a frail and light disc through a melting metal hole while being on the outside of an aircraft at mach speed without damaging it at all?''

''SHUT UP AND HELP ME OUT!'' Bea yelled as the speed of the robot increased.

''Alright give me a sec.'' Cinderace then looked at the name of the move and blinked. ''Wait, Mud Shot? You ain't making me learn Mud shot!''

''Cinderace, we don't have time for this!''

''Can't you wait 10 minutes for it to cool down on its own?''

''CINDERACE!''

''Ugh, fine! But you owe me a big one, AN ULTIMATE WAY BIG ONE!''

Cinderace absorbed the move, she then took a breath in as her cheeks expanded and her eyes turned brown. Then she opened her mouth shooting out several balls of mud at the hole, cooling it down enough for Bea to get inside the robot.

''That was so gross, so gross, so gross!'' Cinderace was desperately trying to clean her tongue after using the attack.

''Don't be so dramatic.'' Bea said rolling her eyes and then she looked at her surroundings, they were in a room that looked like a storage full of boxes, she then released Hitmontop. ''Hitmontop, you can get through this metal with Drill Run, right?'' The Pokemon softly knocked the metal walls and then nodded to her trainer answering her question. ''Alright, I need you to go through this place until you found where Ash is being held, understood?'' Hitmontop nodded again and drilled one of the walls starting his mission.

''Alright, what do we do then?'' Cinderace asked as she applied in her mouth a spray mint that she found in one of the boxes.

''We're gonna find that Team rocket.''

''Ugh, my head.'' Ash said waking up after the fall, he noticed he was inside a cage along with Pikachu. ''Are you okay Pikachu?'' The rodent who was also waking up nodded to his trainer as it rubbed its head.

''We have to get out of here, although this looks like a normal cage, perhaps they wasted all their budget in the giant robot?'' Ash took one of his Poke Balls from his backpack and then passed his arm between the holes of the cage to release oshawott.

''Oshawott, I need you to break this lock.'' The boy said.

''Osha!'' The otter quickly prepared a Razor Shell and cut the lock in half without much effort setting Ash free.

''Well, that was easy. Good job Oshawott, now we just need to-'' Ash stopped as he heard the noise of metal being bend, Hitmontop then came flying through the wall with Drill Run and stopped as he saw Ash and his Pokemon.

''Mon!'' The Pokemon smiled, happy to see that his trainer's friend was safe.

''Hitmontop!'' Ash said. ''Wait, Bea's here? Where is she?''

''Quilladin, Seed Bomb!'' Bea was doing none other thing than fighting Team Rocket in the cabin of the robot with her three Pokemon.

''Wobbufett, Reflect!'' Jessie ordered and her Pokemon created a shield that launched the seed back at Quilladin.

''Cinderace, Overheat!'' The rabbit created a blast of fire that burned the seed. ''I'll ask one last time, where is Ash?!''

''So we have a princess trying to rescue her knight, uh?'' James said laughing. ''Isn't that adorable?''

''We can tell you this, you're just making everything worse.'' Jessie said.

''Yeah, if you keep this up, you'll probably never see him again!'' Meowth threatened.

That last bit made Bea flinch, were they seriously going to harm Ash? Were they just trying to scare her? Could she risk herself and Ash to get the answer of that question?

''Bea, there you are!'' A familiar voice called her from behind calming her down.

''Ash! Are you hurt?!'' She quickly grabbed the boy by the shoulders and started looking for injuries.

''I'm fine. Don't worry, I'm used to this kind of stuff.'' Ash answered making her let out a sigh of relief.

''Geez, and I came all the way here to rescue you. I was so worried.''

''Uh, we're still here, you Luvdiscs.'' Jessie said.

''Ah, right...uhm...It's over, team Rocket!'' Bea and her Pokemon got back to focus on their battle as Ash released Riolu to help too.

''It might seem like that.'' Jessie said while laughing

''But we have one last ace up our sleeve.'' James said pressed one more button from his control, this time a purple four-legged robot with the appearance of a toy vending machine appeared from a pod. ''Meet the Rocket Prize Master!''

''Or rather...'' Meowth said creating a coin with Pay Day. ''Meet what's inside.'' The cat inserted the coin into the robot, he then turned the crank causing two purple Poke Balls with the Team Rocket logo to be dispensed.

''Rocket Ball go!'' Both members yelled as a Salamance and a Metagross appeared from the balls.

''Oh my, this will be fun.'' Jessie said.

''Aren't we the lucky ones?'' James said as both Pokemon roared ready to battle.

''This ain't gonna be easy...'' Bea said worried.

''Don't worry.'' Ash stood alongside her with a big confident smile. ''As long as we're together I'm sure we'll make it through.''

''Heh, that was so cheesy...'' Bea made a surprisingly sincere smile. ''Alright, let's show this punks what we got! Cinderace, Pyro Ba-'' Suddenly a red light started flashing from the roof of the cabin accompanied by an alarming noise

''What's happening now?'' Cinderace asked.

''Well...'' Hitmontop answered. ''I may have broken some ''vital parts'' while I was searching for Ash.'' As he finished the rockets of the robot turned off and it started to fall into the void.

''MAY DAY!'' Meowth shouted. ''We're falling down!''

''Metagross, Salamance, take us out of here.'' Jessie ordered as the dragon Pokemon shoot a Hyper Beam to one of the walls of the fuselage, the trio then got on the backs of the Pokemon and flew away through the hole.

''COWARDS! Great, Where's the escape pod when you need it?'' Cinderace asked looking around. ''Bea, we need another one of those miraculous TRs!''

''Nothing that I have in that case can help us.'' She said worried. ''Can't you take us out with Bounce?''

''I can't do that, we're falling from too high and too fast, the downward-speed will be too much, I would die when I land!''

''And since when you're an expert in physics?!'' Bea yelled.

''Kinematics to be specific, But that's not the problem here, what's the plan B?''

''I don't know...I don't have a plan B.''

''Well shit, Hitmontop, if this is really the end there's something I have to tell you.''Cinderace said.

''And what would that be?'' The top Pokemon asked.

''Back when you were a Tyrogue I used to give you Proteins and Irons while you were sleeping to desbalance your stats and stopping you from evolving into Hitmontop.'' The rabbit confessed.

''YOU DID WHAT?!''

''I thought that if you evolved first Bea would love you more than me!'' Cinderace explained herself and then sighed relieved. ''Phew, it feels good to let that out, now it's you turn to tell me a deep secret.''

''Oh hell no, we're gonna talk about that, right here, right now!''

''BURN! Heart goes off like a bullet liner! Right here, right now, BURN!'' Quilladin sang but he stopped as he remembered their situation. ''Sorry, bad timing.''

''DON'T CHANGE THE TOPIC!'' Hitmontop shouted at Cinderace. ''YOU'VE GOT LOTS OF EXPLAINING TO DO!''

''Uhm...Are you pointing or are you raising your fist against me? You don't have fingers so it's hard to tell.''

''No, no, no...I have nothing'' Bea was getting desperate, she couldn't think of anything. ''We...we're going to die!'' She said kneeling down in despair.

''Bea, you have to calm down.'' Ash said getting closer to her.

''Ash, I'm sorry!'' She clenched her fist as the tears started to flood her eyes. ''I've ruined everything!''

''No, you didn't, listen, we still have time, you can't give up, we don't give up until the end!''

Bea handed over the case, Ash took it and started searching. ''Solar Beam...Liquidation...Fire Lash...'' He then stopped as he saw a rainbow-colored TR and proceeded to show it to Bea. ''What does this one do?'' He asked.

''I didn't knew I had this one...I've never seen this move before, I don't know what it does.''

''The name sounds familiar to me...'' Ash thought for a few seconds until a memory came to his mind. ''Wait, I know! This could is exactly what we need!''

''Could? You're betting our lives in a 'Could'?'' Bea got up but she was slightly shivering.

''Bea, this might be our only chance!''

''But what if it doesn't work?!''

''And what if it does work?!'' Ash yelled out loud making Bea walk back a few steps, for the first time since they met, she looked truly scared, Ash breathed in slowly and then re-analyzed the situation, he has been calm the whole time and that's because he has been in situations like this countless times, but Bea obviously hasn't been through anything similar, fighting an Obstagoon is one thing, but being in an aircraft falling into the void with no chance to escape is something totally different, Bea was tough, of course she was, but facing an almost certain death is not something easy to do, she had all the right to be scared and Ash needed to help her calm down. He grabbed her softly by the shoulders and looked at her in the eyes. ''Sorry, I know you're afraid, but...you can't just give up, we just started traveling together, we have so much to do, so much to see, we can't let it end like this, can we?''

''Bea...do you trust me?''

''Why haven't we crashed already? They've been talking for like 3 minutes.'' Cinderace asked looking at the scene.

''Shush, let them have their moment.'' Hitmontop said while also looking. ''Why are you such a mood killer?''

''Yes...I trust you.'' She said but Ash could tell she was still scared.

''Then if this TR give us even the smallest chance to survive we have to try it.'' Ash said still looking her steadily. ''Are you with me?''

''Of course I am...'' She smiled at him and dried her tears, finally calming down. ''You're right, we can't let it end like this, we won't give up until the end!'' Bea then looked at Cinderace offering her the TR.

The rabbit took the TR on her paws and looked at it. ''I don't know what this does either...''

''There's only one way to find out.'' Bea said.

''Well, here goes nothing.'' Cinderace absorbed the move and then gasped when the information of what the move did went to her head.

''Cinderace?''

''This will work.'' She whispered.

''What did you say?'' Bea asked after not hearing clearly.

''THIS WILL WORK!'' Cinderace's eyes blazed with a strong white light, she then made a rectangle with her fingers ''capturing'' a section of the floor, causing it to glow white, Cinderace then looked at the hole Salamance made and did the same sign pointing a nearby location far enough from the area where the robot was going to crash, a rectangle of light appeared on that place as well.

''All done!'' The fire Pokemon said walking to the rectangle inside the robot and then she looked at her trainer. ''Bea, you and Ash return your Pokemon and hold onto me!''

As Bea told Ash what they had to do Cinderace started to breathe slowly. ''I only have one chance...'' She closed her eyes a few seconds and then she opened them as Ash, Bea and Pikachu were holding onto her.

''Go ahead, Cinderace...It's up to you.'' Bea said just a few meters from crashing.

''COURT CHANGE!'' Cinderace yelled and they were surrounded by a column of light that blinded them for a second, when the light disappeared they had been teleported, along the section of the floor they were in, to the place Cinderace had pointed, then they saw the Bisharp mecha fall and explode a few meters away.

''We did it!'' Cinderace celebrated while hugging Bea and Pikachu.

''Wait...Where's Ash?!'' Bea asked not seeing the boy around.

''I'm up here!'' Ash called from the branch of the tree they were under.

''Oops, my bad, sorry.'' Cinderace apologized. ''I should have pointed a little further from the trees.''

''Phew, Don't worry, Ash, I'll get you down in a moment.'' Bea said preparing herself to climb the tree.

''It's alright, Bea, I can get down MYSELF.'' The branch broke and Ash instantly fell.

''I got him! I got him!'' Cinderace tried to catch him but Ash ended up falling on Bea's arms instead. ''Oh, you got him.''

''Ash, are you okay?'' She asked worried.

''Uh, yeah, nice cath.'' He said as Pikachu jumped on Bea's shoulder to check on him. ''I'm alright, buddy, no need to worry.''

Bea sighed relieved yet again, she has had too many scares for one day. ''Glad to hear th-''

''You ruined everything, you meddling Twerp!'' The voices of team Rocket interrupted their conversation as the trio along their Pokemon landed close to them.

''Metagross, Steel Beam!'' Jessie ordered.

''Salamance, Hyper Beam!'' James ordered too.

Both of Team Rocket's Pokemon charged the attack as our heroes braced themselves, but before the Pseudo-Legendaries could fire they were suddenly returned to their Poke Balls.

''What was that?!'' James asked as the Rocket prize Master got closer to the Poke Balls.

''What?! Hey you! What's happening?!'' Jessie complained to the machine.

''Your ten minutes of usage have expired.'' The robot explained as it sucked back the Poke balls. ''The Pokemon will proceed to be retrieved.''

''You can do that to us! We're so close to finally defeating the twerp!''

''Have a nice day.'' The robot said as a Pelipper came flying and grabbed it with his mouth.

''Get back here! You useless piece of junk!'' Jessie shouted.

''So this is how Ben 10 Villains feel, huh?'' Cinderace said as she watched the Pelipper flying away.

''Cinderace, Pyro Ball them into oblivion!'' Bea ordered.

''You don't have to tell me twice!'' Cinderace kicked up a small rock and tried to fire it up but she unable to do so. ''W-What?!''

''Cinderace?''

''No, no no, NO! I FORGOT PYRO BALL!'' The rabbit exclaimed.

''You what?!''

''Everything was happening so fast, I got confused, Come on, give me a Pyro Ball TR!''

''I don't have a Pyro Ball TR...'' Bea admitted.

''What, why not?''

''It's your signature move, why would I have a TR for it?'' She explained.

''Then what do I do now?!'' Cinderace asked desperately.

''It's alright, we just have to ask a move reminder once we get to the Pokemon Center in Turffield.''

''What do I do, what do I do?!'' Cinderace laid down on the ground on fetal position.

''Cinderace, can you-''

''No Pyro Ball, No Pyro Ball, NO PYRO BALL!''

''Well, she's too far gone.'' Bea sighed and returned Cinderace to her Premier Ball.

''Leave it to us, Pikachu, give us a classic Thunderbolt!'' Ash said with a smile as Pikachu jumped from Bea's shoulder and charged the attack.

''I miss Bewear already.'' The Team Rocket said closing their eyes accepting defeat.

''PIKACHUUU!'' The rodent released a huge wave of electricity creating an explosion and sending the trio flying.

''Well, there goes the 1263th defeat.'' James said pulling out a notebook and marking with a pen a page that said Twerp: 1262/ Team Rocket: 0.

''Perhaps the Twerp is right.'' Jessie said.

''Maybe we should just give up...'' Meowth said.

''NAH!'' They said in unison. ''Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!'' They yelled disappearing into the distance while their signature twinkle appeared.

''What did they say?'' Bea asked.

''Nothing important probably.'' Ash answered.

''Are you sure you're okay?''

''I already told you that I am, but what you?''

''Me?''

''Are you okay?'' He asked with a warm smile.

Bea looked to the side with a light blush, a bit embarrassed by the fact that Ash worried about her like that.

''Uh...Nothing I can't handle, So...Giant robot...chase in the sky...almost dying...that's the normal thing for you?''

''Yeah...You're probably reconsidering traveling along with me, right?''

''Are you kidding? That was wild! As if I wasn't sure before, don't think you'll get rid of me that easy.''

''Heh, I guess not. Hey, Bea?''

''I don't want to sound ungrateful but...could you put me down, please?''

Bea heard a *ping* and her mind stopped as she came to the realization that she has been carrying Ash bridal style since he fell from the tree.

''Bea?'' Ash called her but she was still procesing the situation. ''Bea!'' He called again finally pulling her out of her thoughts.

''Oh...sure.''She softly put Ash down in the ground and after a bit of an awkward silence, Bea spoke again. ''So...How did you knew Court Change would do that?''

''Well, let me explain, a while ago May was having a battle and her-.''

''Wait, Who is May?''

''Right, sorry, May is a friend of mine, I met her in Hoenn.''

''You traveled with her?''

''Yes, I told you I love to travel in company.''

''...Sure...''

''Uh, is everything alright?''

''Yeah... please, continue.''

''Alright, as I was saying May defeated an Ace Trainer someone in a contest, I don't remember her name but she wanted a rematch with her in a normal battle.''

''Cloyster, Toxic Spikes!'' The bivalve pokemon opened its mouth shooting small streams of smoke that sunk into the battlefield around a Munchlax.

''Munchlax, wait! don't move or else you'll get poisoned.'' May looked at the battlefield and saw the whole place was covered by the spikes. ''We need to get rid of these somehow...Munchlax, use Metronome!'' She ordered hoping that maybe they could get lucky and pull something like Earthquake to make the spikes dissapear.

''Munchlax!'' The Normal-Type pokemon raised it hands and wagged his fingertips back and forth until they started glowing, Munchlax and Cloyster then levitated in the air as the glow turned into two small balls of light that flew to the battlefield and landed on each side of the it, two glowing rectangle appeared and when the light died down, both sides of the battlefield were switched and both Pokemon fell back on the ground.

''Cloys!'' Without noticing, Cloyster landed onto the spikes, poisoning itself and screeching.

''Wow, what was that?'' May asked.

''That move is called Court change'' The Ace Trainer explained. ''It causes the sides of the battlefield to change place, you just made my Cloyster poison itself with its own spikes, Court Change is also a pretty uncommon move, there's only one Pokemon that can learn it, seems like your luck keeps on coming.''

''Way to go, Munchlax!'' She said.

''And that's what happened.'' Ash said ending the story. ''Although May lost the battle.''

''She did?''

''Yeah, contests are her main thing so she's not as good in battling as you.'' Bea blushed again by the little compliment. ''But she can still hold her ground pretty well.''

''Interesting, but it seems like she wasn't the only lucky one, if what she said is true and there is only one Pokemon can learn it then that Pokemon would be...''

''Yup, it was exactly Cinderace.''

''Still, you didn't know that, that was extremely specific, it could have not worked.''

''But it did; And we hadn't tried it, I don't think we would be any better.''

''I'll give you that.'' She said. ''Sorry for doubting you, by the way...You were pretty...intense up there.''

''Intense?'' Ash asked.

''Yeah, I mean the way you just took control of the situation while I was freaking out and how you helped me calm down.'' Bea explained ''Are you always like that or is it a skill that comes up when you need it?''

''I guess it just comes up when I need it.'' He answered,

''Well, that's alright, I prefer the friendly, kind of moron Ash anyway.'' Both shared a laugh after that. ''Hey, Where did we end up after all that chase?''

''I'm not sure, let me check.'' The boy pulled out his Rotom Phone of his pocket. ''Hey, Rotom, could you tell us where we are, please?''

''Of course, Ash!'' The phone loaded a second and then gave his answer. ''We're just 1 kilometer away from Turffield.''

''What? Really?'' Bea exclaimed surprised.

''Wow, Looks like Team Rocket actually gave us a lift.'' Ash said.

''Hmm, it must be that small town in the distance.''

''Alright, Let's keep moving! I can't wait for my Gym battle!'' As Ash started running he was smacked on the face by something soft, it was small, round sheep-like Pokemon was blocking their way jumping. ''Ouch, Is this a Galarian Mareep?'' Ash asked looking at the Pokemon.

''Nope, this is a Wooloo.'' Bea answered.

''That's right, he's a Wooloo and he's from my farm, sorry for the trouble.'' A muscular man on a typical farmer outfit approached them as he grabbed the Wooloo. The man then took a look at the trainers setting his sights on the raven-haired boy.

''Oh, you're Ash Ketchum, right?'' The farmer asked.

''Yes, that's me!''

''I see, Nessa told me you'd be coming but since you were going by foot I didn't expect you to be here this early.''

''Nessa told you?'' Ash asked looking confused until he realized. ''Wait, you're Turffield's Gym leader?''

''Yup, my name's Milo, nice to meet you!''

''Looks like they made it.'' Somewhere far away someone was watching the scene. ''Glad he remembered what that move does.''

''Yes, but why did you we have to do the puzzle thing with the TR?'' Another voice talked. ''You know we could have just teleported them out of danger, right?''

''That would have been more easy, but I don't want to do everything for them, they could suspect.''

''Suspect of what? He is THE Ash Ketchum, He would probably think it was just any of the legendaries he have met, even Arceus itself owes him one, he don't even know we are.''

''No, they don't...at least not yet.''
