Chapter 93: Training
In a part of Saffron city, Pokèmon were training, all of these Pokèmon were non othe then Haru Pokèmon of course, they all were training in Sabrina Gym.
In one side Houndoom was figting that fo Delta Aggron, the Steal/Fire Type tryed too keep up with that of Houndoom, but it was nor easy, as he was fresh catch, with them was Archanine, as it showing its fire power up, meanwhile in a different place, Meowth was Fighting that of Staraptor, as he moved out of the way uses sword dance and then a Aura spear, Staraptor moved out of the way used a double team too confused Meowth.
Meowth looked around his orange fer firing up. "Ah suck, but that is gonna take more then that".
In that's of the water, the Delta Feebas was trying to fight that fo Haru Red Gyarados to Evolve, Which was not working well, Red Gyarados looked at as he roar telling her too stop, hearing that Roar the Dragon/Water type Delta Feebas just stopped and looked at Gyarados, in a different part Teddiursa was figthing Haru new catch the shiny Treecko, as Ursaluna was making sure the kids didn't hurt them self, as it was also training with Hisuian Zoroak as it was keeping an Eye, as Cofagrigus was also training it's ghost powers agent's that of Sabrina pokemon, meanwhile in total almost destroyed party of the gym
There was Haru top 4, Swampert, Electivire, Garchomp and Scizor, these 4 where consider 4 of Haru strongest Pokèmon that he has for now, as then Swampert, Electivire and Garchomp used that of Earthquakes together, Scizor flyed up in the ari as went to Garchomp ready to it with an X-Scissors as the it was blocked by Electivire as she tryed to use Ice Punched then she was heat by a Power-up-punch on the Electivire as she jumped away as she charged up a while charge, only to dodge a sword Dance booster earthquake.
Now what was Haru doing, will he was in different part of the Gym, it was more fo training room, his eyes was close as then multiple objets tryed to hit, but then sense then using his Aura as he moved away from each of does Object that tryed to hit, each 200 of them, why did Sabrina have them, simple this was for people who wanted to master they Physic sense, as another one Came Haruoves his hand, it got coverd in Blue aura as blocked stoping it in place.
As Haru continued his training, he focused on honing his Aura. The training devices kept coming at him faster, forcing him to react quicker. His body moved instinctively, dodging and deflecting them with minimal effort. A smirk formed on his face—this was nothing compared to the battles he'd faced before.
Then, without warning, the intensity increased. The objects changed direction midair, moving unpredictably. Sabrina had clearly adjusted the difficulty, testing his limits. Haru narrowed his eyes as he reinforced his Aura, catching one of the projectiles mid-flight and crushing it in his grip.
"Impressive," Sabrina's voice echoed through the room. She leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, watching him. "Your control over Aura is strong, but you still rely too much on your reflexes. If you want to master it, you need to predict, not just react."
Haru sighed, lowering his hands. "And what, you're here to give me a lesson?"
Sabrina smirked. "Something like that. After all, you're in my gym."
Before Haru could respond, the room shifted. The walls blurred, and suddenly, he found himself in an entirely different space—a vast, empty void.
"A psychic battlefield," Sabrina explained. "If you want to get stronger, then let's see if you can handle this."
Without hesitation, she sent out her Alakazam, its eyes glowing with immense psychic energy. Haru clenched his fists, his Aura flaring around him.
"Fine," he said, smirking. "Let's see what you've got."
Haru then flares up his Aura, to it's maximum the physic battle field then crack and broke into piece's. "Did you forget how many Phsyic assassin's in our past life tryed too use the same trick, I still my knowledge from my past life as a Prince and a king"
Sabrina clicked her tongue as the shattered battlefield dissolved into nothingness. "Tch. Figures. I should've known that trick wouldn't work on you."
Haru smirked, his Aura crackling around him like lightning. "Come on, Sabrina. You should know by now that I'm not so easily trapped. Every psychic assassin that tried this on me in the past ended up either running or regretting it."
Alakazam floated beside Sabrina, its eyes narrowing as it sensed Haru's sheer willpower overwhelming the psychic space. "Fine," she said, flicking her wrist. "Then we'll do this the hard way."
In an instant, Alakazam vanished, teleporting behind Haru and unleashing a Psyshock. But Haru barely moved. His Aura formed a protective barrier around him, dispersing the psychic attack on contact. He turned his head slightly. "That all?"
Sabrina smirked. "Not even close."
A sudden wave of psychic energy crashed down on Haru from all sides. Telekinetic force, mind suppression, and illusion layering—it was a triple-layered attack meant to overwhelm both mind and body.
Haru's eyes flashed with determination. "Nice try." His Aura surged outward, breaking through the illusions and dispersing the telekinetic force like a shockwave. With a single step, he closed the distance between himself and Alakazam, his fist glowing with Aura energy.
"You're not the only one who got stronger, Sabrina."
Before Alakazam could teleport away, Haru struck forward with a powerful Aura-infused punch.
But just before impact—
BOOM!
A massive psychic shield exploded outward, sending Haru sliding back. He dug his heels into the ground, grinning. "Now this is getting fun."
Sabrina flipped her hair. "Good. Because I'm just getting started."
Haru got up as looked at her. "I gotta say, tank you for not taking it easy on me, even if you are one my girlfriend's".
Sabrina looked at him as she spoke. "Wait don't tell you are Masochist in this life".
Haru release how that sounded as he looked at her. "Nah, nope, not at all".
Sabrina smirked, crossing her arms. "Sure, sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night."
Haru sighed, shaking his head. "Look, I just appreciate a good challenge. You know as well as I do that strength is earned, not given."
Sabrina hummed, floating slightly above the ground. "Fair enough. But I'll admit, it's nice having someone who can actually keep up with me. Most trainers rely too much on their Pokémon, but you?" She pointed at him. "You fight like one."
Haru chuckled. "That's because I trained like one. Aura training isn't just for show, you know."
Suddenly, a new voice interrupted them.
"You two done flirting, or should I come back later?"
Haru turned to see Rose leaning against the doorway, arms crossed, with Suicune standing beside her in her human form, an amused look on her face.
Sabrina rolled her eyes. "He was just getting his ass kicked."
Haru scoffed. "Like hell I was."
Suicune chuckled. "From what I saw, it looked pretty even. Though I think Sabrina had a slight advantage."
Haru sighed. "Not you too…"
Rose smirked. "Face it, Haru. You might be strong, but you're not unbeatable."
Haru stretched, cracking his knuckles. "Maybe not. But that just means I need to train harder." He looked at Sabrina. "Another round?"
Sabrina grinned. "Always."
Haru and Sabrina stood facing each other once more, the energy in the air crackling as their battle resumed.
Sabrina raised a hand, her eyes glowing with a faint violet hue. "Let's up the difficulty, shall we?"
At her command, multiple barriers of psychic energy formed around the battlefield, shifting positions randomly. Haru narrowed his eyes—this was a test of both agility and precision.
Haru smirked. "Alright, if we're doing this, I'm going all out."
He clenched his fists as his blue Aura flared up, surrounding him like a raging flame. He took a deep breath, focusing on the moving barriers. Then, with a burst of speed, he dashed forward.
Sabrina flicked her wrist, and several telekinetic projectiles launched toward him. Haru weaved between them, narrowly dodging each one. He leapt over a barrier, twisting mid-air to avoid a psychic blast before landing smoothly.
"Not bad," Sabrina admitted. "But let's see how you handle this!"
The entire battlefield shifted as the barriers changed positions rapidly, leaving Haru little time to react. A barrage of telekinetic strikes came from different angles.
Haru exhaled, his Aura pulsing. "Alright, let's turn this up a notch."
He closed his eyes and let his instincts take over. His Aura stretched out, sensing the attacks before they even launched. With precise movements, he sidestepped each strike, ducking and weaving through the chaos. Then, he shot forward, breaking through the gaps in the shifting barriers.
Sabrina's eyes widened slightly. He's reading the battlefield in real-time?
Before she could react, Haru reappeared right in front of her, his hand glowing with Aura energy. He gently tapped her forehead with a smirk. "Tag."
Sabrina blinked in surprise before scoffing. "Cheeky bastard."
Haru grinned. "You love it."
Sabrina sighed, floating back down. "Alright, fine. I'll admit, you've gotten better. But you still have a long way to go before you can match me completely."
Haru stretched, rolling his shoulders. "That's what training is for, right?"
Just then, Rose clapped her hands. "Alright, lovebirds, as fun as this is, we've got things to do. You did say we'd be staying here for a week, but don't forget we have other plans too."
Suicune nodded. "Agreed. You've both improved, but training without purpose is meaningless. What's next on the agenda, Haru?"
Haru crossed his arms, thinking. "Well, we've done enough one-on-one training. I think it's time for a full-team battle." He looked at Sabrina with a smirk. "You up for it?"
Sabrina smirked back. "Oh? A full six-on-six? Now you're speaking my language."
The stage was set. A full battle between Haru and Sabrina was about to begin.
Sabrina then teleported 6 Pokèball, as she looked at Haru. "Each of these 6 pokemon are from different region, so lest see your Pokèmon".
Haru them wishlist, as then all of his Pokemon heard that from across the 3 rooms, a few seconds later all them bursted to the door. "Swampert, Electivire, Garchomp, Scizor, Cofagrigus, and Delta Aggron, I pick the 6 of you". The rest of Haru pokèmon as Haru looker at Sabrina. "Bring it on".
Sabrina smirked as she tossed her six Pokéballs into the air, each one releasing a different Pokémon from a different region. The battlefield was set, and the energy in the gym crackled with anticipation.
In front of her stood:
Alakazam (Kanto) – Her signature Psychic-type, radiating pure mental power.
Togekiss (Johto) – A Fairy/Flying-type known for its grace and aerial dominance.
Metagross (Hoenn) – A Steel/Psychic powerhouse with immense intellect and brute strength.
Gallade (Sinnoh) – A Psychic/Fighting-type warrior, wielding blades of energy.
Reuniclus (Unova) – A Psychic-type known for its cellular manipulation and high durability.
Delphox (Kalos) – A Fire/Psychic fox, wielding its mystical flames.
Haru analyzed her team, his mind racing. This is gonna be tough. Sabrina's Pokémon specialize in mind games and precision attacks. I need to hit fast and hard, breaking their rhythm before they get the upper hand.
Sabrina smiled confidently. "Your move, Champion."
Haru grinned. "Don't mind if I do. Swampert, you're up first!"
Swampert stomped forward, its powerful arms cracking the floor slightly as it let out a battle cry.
Sabrina nodded. "Then I'll lead with Metagross!"
The Steel/Psychic behemoth landed on the battlefield with a loud THUD, its red eyes glowing as it analyzed Swampert with its supercomputer mind.
Haru smirked. "Perfect matchup. Let's see who hits harder!"
The battle was about to begin.
Haru's voice rang out as he gave the first command. "Swampert, use Earthquake!"
Swampert's powerful legs dug into the ground, sending shockwaves across the battlefield. The earth cracked and trembled under the sheer force, and the floor beneath Metagross began to break apart.
But Sabrina was ready. "Metagross, use Psychic!"
In an instant, Metagross's eyes glowed with intense psychic energy, and it lifted off the ground, levitating as it shielded itself with a barrier of pure telekinetic power. The Earthquake hit, but the Psychic shield absorbed most of the damage. The shockwaves caused Metagross to sway, but it remained grounded.
"Not bad, Haru. But you'll have to do more than that." Sabrina's tone was calm, calculated.
Haru raised an eyebrow, his mind already working. Metagross is tough, but I can break through its defenses if I push hard enough.
"Swampert, Waterfall!" Haru commanded.
Swampert charged forward, water swirling around its body as it lunged towards Metagross with a massive torrent of water. Metagross tried to counter with a Psychic blast, but the Waterfall slammed into it with tremendous force, sending the Psychic Steel-type skidding back across the battlefield.
"Nice one, Swampert!" Haru praised.
But Sabrina remained unfazed. "Metagross, Meteor Mash!"
Metagross retaliated immediately, its body glowing as it launched itself towards Swampert with a series of powerful, hammering strikes. The first few punches connected, sending Swampert stumbling backward, but it quickly regained its balance.
"Swampert, Counterattack! Muddy Water!" Haru called.
Swampert slammed its feet into the ground, and a surge of muddy water erupted from beneath it, sweeping Metagross off its feet and into a puddle of muck. The water-covered Metagross struggled for a moment but quickly regained its composure.
Sabrina raised an eyebrow. "Impressive. But we're not done yet."
Haru smirked. "Neither are we. But you're going to need more than that if you're taking down my team."
The intensity of the battle skyrocketed as both trainers pushed their Pokémon to their limits. Haru's Swampert and Sabrina's Metagross clashed again and again, the battlefield shaking with the force of their attacks.
"Swampert, Ice Punch, then Power-Up Punch!" Haru shouted, his voice firm with conviction.
Swampert's fist, coated in icy energy, slammed into Metagross, who was momentarily stunned. But before Metagross could recover, Swampert's powerful follow-up Power-Up Punch sent it hurtling back. The icy blow had clearly taken a toll on Metagross's defenses.
Metagross attempted to teleport behind Swampert, but the Water/Ground-type was ready. With an uncanny sense of timing, Swampert pivoted mid-air and unleashed another Power-Up Punch, connecting solidly with Metagross's midsection and sending it crashing to the ground.
Sabrina's expression hardened. "Metagross, get up! Use Psychic!"
Metagross, battered but determined, rose into the air, its body surrounded by a pulsating psychic aura. The powerful Psychic attack surged toward Swampert, but Haru was already prepared.
"Swampert, dodge it!" Haru commanded, his voice sharp and precise.
Swampert, reacting with remarkable speed, leapt into the air, narrowly avoiding the oncoming blast. In a seamless movement, Swampert used the momentum to deliver an Ice Punch directly into Metagross's horns. The impact sent shockwaves through the battlefield, and Metagross was knocked back, momentarily dazed.
"Nice move, Swampert!" Haru praised, a grin forming on his face.
Metagross struggled to regain its footing as Sabrina's eyes flashed with a hint of frustration. "Metagross, finish this with Meteor Mash!"
Metagross's body glowed once more, readying itself to strike. But before it could launch the devastating attack, Haru called out a quick command.
"Swampert, use Power-Up Punch to end this!"
Swampert's fist glowed bright orange as the attack powered up with an overwhelming surge of energy. The next moment, Swampert delivered a crushing blow, hitting Metagross square in the chest with enough force to send it crashing into the walls of the Gym, knocking it out cold.
"Nice job, Swampert! You did great!" Haru cheered.
Sabrina remained composed, though a small, respectful smile played on her lips. "Well done, Haru. But it's far from over."
The battle was heating up, and with each Pokémon swap, it was clear that neither side would back down easily.
Sabrina reached for another Pokéball. "Alright, let's see how you handle this next challenge."
With a flick of her wrist, she released a Gallade, its ethereal, psychic energy radiating across the battlefield.
Haru stood tall, looking at his Swampert with a confident smile. "Get ready, everyone. We're just getting started."
Sabrina looked at her Gallade as she looked at Haru Swampert. "Gallade use Leaf blade".
Sabrina's Gallade gracefully spun, its Leaf Blade cutting through the air, aiming directly for Swampert. But Haru was quick to react.
"Swampert, move out of the way!" Haru commanded sharply.
Swampert sidestepped with lightning-fast agility, narrowly avoiding Gallade's strike. The Gallade's sword-like blade slashed the ground, sending up a small cloud of dirt in its wake. With no time to waste, Swampert retaliated.
Without hesitation, Swampert kicked Gallade away, sending the Psychic/Fighting-type stumbling back. Haru saw the opening.
"Waterfall, now!" he called out.
A surge of water enveloped Swampert as it lunged toward Gallade, but Sabrina's Gallade was quick on its feet. It nimbly dodged the Waterfall and backflipped, landing safely a few feet away.
"Nice move, Gallade!" Sabrina praised.
But Haru wasn't done yet.
"Swampert, Ice Punch!" he shouted.
Swampert's arm glowed with a chilling blue aura as it closed the distance. But before the move could land, Sabrina quickly countered.
"Gallade, Psycho Cut!"
The two moves collided with a dazzling burst of energy, lighting up the gym with a stunning display of power. The Ice Punch and Psycho Cut met in mid-air, creating a shockwave that sent ripples across the battlefield, shimmering with icy and psychic energy. The aftermath left the air filled with sparkling fragments, almost as if the battlefield had been dusted with stardust.
Rose, watching the display in awe, spoke up. "That looks like it could win you a lot of points in a contest battle."
Haru chuckled, his eyes locked on the two Pokémon. "It's beautiful, but we're in a battle, not a contest."
Sabrina gave a small smile, her eyes glinting with determination. "You're right, but beauty and power often go hand in hand."
The two Pokémon backed away, ready to continue the clash. Gallade's psychic energy was still swirling around it, while Swampert's frost-covered fist remained at the ready. Both trainers knew this battle was far from over.
---
Haru grinned, his competitive spirit shining through. "Swampert, let's wrap this up. Use Muddy Water followed by Power-Up Punch!"
Swampert nodded and unleashed a powerful wave of muddy water, crashing it toward Gallade. At the same time, it powered up its fist for another devastating Power-Up Punch, aiming to finish the battle strong.
Sabrina watched carefully, eyes narrowing. "Gallade, Counter with Focus Blast!"
The battle continued to heat up as both Pokémon unleashed their next set of moves, the gym once again filled with the clash of elements and energy.
The battlefield crackled with intensity as the two Pokémon locked in their fierce contest of wills. Sabrina's Gallade stood tall, ready to counter Swampert's onslaught.
"Gallade, Focus Blast, now!" Sabrina commanded.
With a burst of psychic energy, Gallade's hands glowed bright as it launched the charged energy blast directly at the incoming Muddy Water. The water and Focus Blast collided in a flash of light, creating a shockwave that rippled across the gym.
Haru gritted his teeth. "Swampert, Power-Up Punch! Don't stop!"
Swampert's fist, now covered in a fiery aura, barreled through the smoke and water, crashing into Gallade's Focus Blast with raw force. The impact sent a massive shockwave through the gym, shaking the walls. Gallade staggered back but didn't fall, its focus sharp despite the hit.
"You're strong, but it's not enough, Gallade!" Sabrina's voice remained calm as she commanded, "Use Teleport!"
In an instant, Gallade vanished and reappeared right behind Swampert, delivering a swift and precise Psycho Cut to its back.
"Swampert!" Haru shouted, but his Pokémon stood strong, using its Moxie ability to boost its attack even further. Swampert whipped around with ice-cold fury, its fist glowing with icy power once more.
"Ice Punch!" Haru ordered, but Sabrina had already anticipated the move.
"Gallade, use Protect!"
A shimmering barrier surrounded Gallade just as Swampert's Ice Punch collided with it. The impact shattered the protective shield, but not without causing a delay. Gallade took a moment to regain its footing as the frosty air lingered.
Sabrina, now feeling the intensity of the battle, smirked. "Impressive, Haru, but let's see how you handle this."
"Psychic, Gallade!" Sabrina shouted.
Gallade's eyes glowed a fierce blue as it aimed a powerful psychic force directly at Swampert. The psychic energy surged, lifting Swampert off the ground and holding it in place mid-air.
"Swampert!" Haru clenched his fist. "You're not done yet. Break free!"
Swampert struggled against the powerful psychic force, its muscles straining as it fought back. With a deep roar, Swampert used its strength to break free from Gallade's psychic grip, landing gracefully on the ground, but visibly drained from the effort.
Haru's eyes gleamed with determination. "Swampert, Power-Up Punch, full power!"
With one final charge, Swampert's fists glowed even brighter, the aura surrounding it intense. It rushed toward Gallade, who had barely recovered from the previous attack.
"Gallade, dodge it!" Sabrina shouted in a last-ditch effort.
But Swampert was too fast. The Power-Up Punch landed squarely on Gallade's side, sending the Psychic/Fighting-type skidding across the battlefield with a powerful impact. Gallade struggled to stand, but it was clear that the battle had taken its toll.
Sabrina exhaled softly, smiling. "You're as skilled as they say, Haru. Gallade, return."
Gallade nodded weakly and disappeared into its Poké Ball as Sabrina turned her gaze to the remaining Pokémon.
Haru, breathing heavily from the intensity of the battle, looked at Sabrina with a grin. "Your Gallade was tough, but I wasn't backing down."
Sabrina chuckled, her eyes glinting. "You've got some great Pokémon, Haru. This battle isn't over yet."
With the first round of their six-Pokémon showdown concluded, both trainers were more fired up than ever. Haru's Swampert stood proud, its Moxie ability boosting its strength even further, while Sabrina's confidence remained unshaken.
"Alright, Sabrina," Haru said, ready for the next phase. "Show me what you've got!"
