Pokémon: Day Bringer

Chapter 89: Electric Charge

Haru was then ready to call back Electivire, as then she stopped him. "Let me guess, you wanna show this Delta who is boss, go ahead girl".

Electivire cracked her knuckles, sparks of electricity dancing around her body.

Haru smirked. "Alright, show this Delta Electabuzz who's in charge."

Surge grinned and tossed out his next Pokémon. "Go, Delta Electabuzz!"

A flash of light revealed a dark-furred Electabuzz with blue lightning bolts crackling across its body. Unlike a normal Electabuzz, this one had a Ghost/Electric typing, giving it an eerie presence.

Rose gasped. "It's a Ghost-type?! That's so cool!"

Haru narrowed his eyes. "A Ghost-type, huh? That means..."

Surge smirked. "That's right, kid. Normal and Fighting-type moves won't work on it."

Haru nodded. "Good thing my Electivire doesn't rely on those." He snapped his fingers. "Electivire, Thunder Punch!"

Electivire dashed forward, her fist crackling with golden lightning, aiming straight for Delta Electabuzz's chest.

Surge grinned. "Shadow Sneak!"

Delta Electabuzz vanished into the ground like a shadow, moving unnaturally fast.

Haru's eyes widened. "Behind you!"

Before Electivire could react, Delta Electabuzz re-emerged behind her, its claws glowing with ghostly energy, and slashed her back with a brutal hit.

Electivire growled but didn't fall. She spun around, her eyes burning with fighting spirit.

Haru smirked. "Alright, time to turn things around. Use Ice Punch!"

Electivire's fist froze over with chilling energy as she swung at the Delta Electabuzz.

Surge shouted, "Dodge it!"

But this time, Electivire anticipated the dodge—as Delta Electabuzz moved, she quickly followed up with a disruptive Thunder Wave, paralyzing her opponent!

Surge gritted his teeth. "Damn!"

Rose cheered. "That was genius! She baited it!"

Haru smirked. "Now finish it—Wild Charge!"

Electivire roared as her entire body became engulfed in electricity, rushing forward like a living thunderbolt.

Delta Electabuzz, paralyzed, couldn't move in time—Electivire's attack slammed into it with full force, sending it flying across the battlefield, for a brief second Electivire hold body was cover in ligthing, as her and Haru eyes glowed a blue, as Suicune saw it.

BOOM!

The impact left a crater on the gym floor, and Delta Electabuzz lay there, eyes swirling in defeat.

Surge sighed and recalled his Pokémon. "Well, kid, you got me fair and square. Your Electivire is a beast."

Electivire let out a victorious roar, pumping her fists in the air.

Haru patted her back. "You did great. Now take a break." He finally recalled her into her Pokéball.

Surge laughed. "You Kanto Champions sure don't mess around. Here—take this as a reward for winning."

He tossed Haru a small TM disk.

Rose leaned in. "What's this?"

Haru examined it and smirked. "Thunderbolt TM. Not bad."

Surge crossed his arms. "Consider it my way of saying 'welcome to Kanto.' You'll need all the power you can get."

Haru nodded, pocketing the TM before glancing at Rose. "Shall we get going?"

Rose grinned. "Yeah! I can't wait to explore Kanto!"

With their battle won, Haru and Rose left Vermilion Gym, ready for whatever challenges awaited them in Kanto.

Suicune them looked at Haru and the rest as she Spoke. "Did anyone else notice what I did"

Haru looked at her as he spoke. "What do you mena".

She then continued. "When the final class happened, Electivire body ws coverd by ligthing I done mean like Wild Charge, that was pure Electivire energy, then for a brief second her and Haru eyes glowed Blue".

Haru looked at her as he spoke. "What do you mean, do you know what that is".

Suicune looked at him as she spoke. "I have an idea of what that s, I have seen it before but I am not sure it is what it is, if it happens with your other pokemon then I will be more sure".

Rose spoke a bit worried. "Wait do we have to be worried".

Suicune just smiled looking at her. "No not at all".

Haru furrowed his brow, thinking back to the moment Suicune described.

He remembered the intense surge of energy in that final clash—the feeling of his heartbeat syncing with Electivire's, the static in the air, and that brief flash of blue in his vision.

Haru crossed his arms. "If this is something unusual, we should figure it out."

Suicune nodded. "Yes, but there is no need to rush. If it happens again, we will have more evidence."

Rose still looked a bit uneasy. "You sure it's nothing dangerous?"

Suicune chuckled softly. "If anything, it may be something beneficial. But I will not speculate just yet."

Haru sighed. "Alright, I'll keep an eye out. If it happens again, we'll deal with it then." He then grinned. "For now, let's focus on our journey through Kanto."

Suicune nodded in agreement, and Rose smiled. "Right! We've got a whole region to explore!"

With that, they continued their journey, but in the back of Haru's mind, he couldn't shake the feeling that something within him—within his bond with his Pokémon—was changing.

Later that night, Haru lay there, the quiet stillness of the night enveloped him, and he felt a familiar tingle of energy course through his body—a sensation he'd felt before but had never fully understood. He turned over onto his side, gazing out the window, his mind replaying the memories of his past life as Able. The brother of ideals, a prince of Unova—he had once been part of something far greater, something that had been destined to change the world. But in his current life, he had embraced his identity as Haru, and though it felt right, there was always something more lingering beneath the surface.

His mind wandered to that strange, cryptic message: "The Dragons will rise again."

The words echoed in his mind, picking at him, scraping away at the veil he had draped over those memories in the chaos of his journey. The rise of dragons… Was it a literal prophecy? Or was it something more metaphorical, something linked to his former self—Able's—and the dragons that had once aligned themselves with him? There were so many possibilities, and yet, nothing felt certain.

He sat up in bed, his thoughts unraveling as he tried to piece everything together. From the moment he'd regained his memories—from remembering his bond with certain Pokémon to the mysterious encounter with Suicune and even his strange connection with some of his newer Pokémon—something shifted in his understanding of who he was, and why he had been reborn in this world. Why did he carry the echoes of his past life with him? Why was he drawn to Kanto, and more specifically, the mystery of Delta Pokémon?

Was it his fate to bring about the rise of dragons once again, to challenge the balance between worlds, and to face the forces that he had long ago left behind? Or was this a new path, one shaped by the trials of the present, not bound by the past?

For a moment, Haru closed his eyes, trying to push the thoughts away—but they wouldn't leave. "The Dragons will rise again."

He shuddered, as a sudden sense of urgency washed over him. He had no idea what that really meant, but deep down, he knew that somehow, his journey had only just begun, and it was not only about the Pokémon he caught, the championships he won, or the people he met. It was about something far deeper, something that was woven into the fabric of his very existence.

"I need to figure this out," he murmured to himself.

With renewed determination, he lay back down, but sleep felt elusive. The weight of his past life, intertwined with his current journey, kept him awake—the dragons that would rise again were calling to him, but he didn't know how or when they would appear.

Still, Haru understood this much: The answers would come—and in the meantime, he would continue to walk his path, train his Pokémon, and embrace the mystery ahead. Only time would reveal the truth behind those words.

The next day Haru was in car as Surge looked at him. "So which city are you going too".

Haru looked back at before he closed his window. "Simple, saffron city".

Surge raised an eyebrow, glancing at Haru in the rearview mirror. "Saffron City, huh? Quite the bold choice. A lot of strong trainers there, including Sabrina, the Psychic-type Gym Leader. You sure you're ready for that?"

Haru leaned back in his seat, the cool breeze from the window brushing through his hair. "I'm always ready. Besides, I've faced tougher challenges before. It's time I put my skills to the test."

Rose, who was sitting next to Haru, looked over at him with a small smile. "You're really aiming for Saffron City, huh? That place is known for its high-level trainers. I guess you're not looking for an easy win."

Haru smiled back. "I don't need easy. Just the right challenge."

Suicune, sitting calmly in the back seat, spoke up. "Your confidence is admirable, Haru, but you must remember—Saffron City is not like the other places you've been. The trainers there are skilled, and Sabrina's psychic abilities are not to be taken lightly."

Haru nodded, knowing that Suicune's words carried weight. "I know. But I've got my team with me, and we've grown stronger together. We'll handle whatever comes our way."

Surge gave a slight chuckle. "Well, if you're set on it, I won't stop you. But be careful—Saffron's no walk in the park. If you're up for the challenge, though, I respect that."

The car sped down the road, heading toward the bustling streets of Saffron City. Haru could already feel the excitement building within him, knowing that this next step in his journey would bring new experiences and powerful opponents. The mysteries of his past, the rise of the dragons, and the strength of his team were all things that would guide him toward what lay ahead.

As the car drew closer to the city, Haru couldn't help but feel that something big was about to unfold in Saffron. Something he wasn't quite prepared for yet, but something he needed to face in order to understand his place in this world—and in the world of Pokémon.

Haru was enjoying the car ride, he didn't get to use his driving license much, which came with his Pokémon card, so he was happy he bought this car, it was Blue with that of Infront of it having that of small statues of Swampert, as the trio was enjoying there drive, as they entered rout 6, as then Haru quickly stopped the car hitting the brake heard, thank Arceus that everyone was wearing a seat belt, as they saw a pack of wild Growlithe, and Vulpix were walking, will pack would be calling it small, it was the size of a small army of toddler, it was very cute leading them was a Arcanine with a blue scarf.

Suicune looked at Rose and answered the question even before she spoke. "No non of them are delta Pokémon".

Haru exhaled in relief as the car came to a complete stop, a few inches away from the pack of wild Growlithe and Vulpix. The sight of them was heartwarming—a playful and energetic bunch, with the mighty Arcanine at the forefront, leading them with its protective aura and blue scarf fluttering in the wind.

Rose couldn't help but smile at the scene. "They're so cute!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling as she watched the small group frolicking in the tall grass.

Haru chuckled softly, keeping his foot on the brake. "Yeah, they're adorable, but I think they have their own little world going on here."

Suicune nodded, her gaze scanning the pack. "They're wild Pokémon, no doubt, but none of them seem to have the unique energy of a Delta Pokémon. Looks like we won't be catching any of them today."

Haru sighed but didn't seem disappointed. "That's fine. We've got plenty of time. Let's just make sure we don't scare them off."

The Arcanine, sensing the car's presence, raised its head and let out a deep, commanding growl, but it didn't seem aggressive. The wild Pokémon in its group turned toward the car curiously but remained where they were, seemingly used to travelers passing through.

Rose whispered to Haru, "Maybe we should leave them be. They seem peaceful."

"Agreed," Haru replied, as he slowly began to reverse the car. "No need to disturb them. But I wonder if we'll find anything interesting further down the route."

Suicune's eyes gleamed as she peered out the window. "There are always surprises waiting. Let's see what the rest of Route 6 holds."

With a smooth shift into drive, Haru continued along the path, leaving the pack of Growlithe and Vulpix behind. The road ahead was lined with tall trees and tall grasses, and the air smelled of fresh pine and the sweet scent of wildflowers. The perfect backdrop for their adventure.

As they neared the end of Route 6, the towering city of Saffron City came into view in the distance. Haru could feel a sense of anticipation building up inside him. Sabrina was known to be one of the strongest Gym Leaders in Kanto, and he wasn't sure what to expect from her—or what kind of challenges the city would hold for them.

"You know," Haru said as they approached the outskirts of the city, "Sabrina has a reputation for being very calculating and mysterious. I wonder how she'll handle us showing up."

Rose grinned, excited. "We'll find out soon enough. I'm ready to take her on."

Suicune simply smiled, her eyes glowing faintly as she looked ahead. "The mind is a powerful thing, Haru. But remember, strength isn't always just about power. It's also about understanding the mind of your opponent."

Haru nodded, his mind already racing with possibilities. "I'll keep that in mind. Let's see what Sabrina's all about."

With that, the trio made their way toward Saffron City, eager to face the unknown challenges that awaited them. In that of the maind lands of Kanto the Pokemon had come put of the water, steam was coming out it's body, as the Pokemon was tired, it then dugged into the ground too heat it self up and too rest before he starts his journey onces again to find the Legendary Pokemon and the Human again

Meanwhile something from the Ocean came out, it was the same Pokémon that was chasing the group, currently it was weaken, so the Fire/Steal Type dugged into the ground to rest before it starts to look for Suicune and Haru
