Pokemon - A real story

As they were talking, Lucario was training on its new move 'Water sport' and 'Aqua Jet'.

It had learned both of those moves some time ago and it needed to level 1 of them to level 40 to rank up. That was a harsh condition but Axel felt that the condition was reasonable. He was not going to use Lucario in the Jhoto region. Till that time Lucario would already be at pseudo-king rank or king rank. So, he didn't need to push it forward right now.

Lucario's Aqua jet has leveled to level 20

"Lucario, take some rest first and then use the move while also using 'Aqua jet' and 'Agility' at the same time. The speed would increase massively. I want \to see if you can control the speed.", remarked Axel.

Lucario closed its eyes and moved its body a bit. As of right now, it could use 'Agility' 2 times but it only used one time to test the new theory.

It then looked into the sky and gave a loud roar. Surging water surrounded its body as it moved forward with a powerful speed. This might be the fastest that Lucario had ever been. It went ahead and crashed to the ground. It could not control its speed.

"Don't worry. Combining moves is not so easy. You have to get used to it. Take it slow.", suggested Axel.

For an uncommon-rank Pokemon, it was hard to combine 2 moves at the same time. Axel not only wanted it to have a good speed but also a good reaction time. That would need some time.

"Ok, all of you. Rest for some time. We are going to continue our journey."

The Pokemons had trained and now they needed food and rest. Axel gave them food and started to move out.

2 of his Pokemons were very urgently training in Axel's team. Actually, there were 3 of them. The first one was Mamoswine. It was very close to reaching tier 2 king. The progress of Mamoswine had been pretty slow. This was not cause it was not training hard. On the contrary, it was one of the most hardworking Pokemon in this team.

The reason that it was very slow in reaching tier 2 was due to 'Ancient power'. Other Pokemons like Charizard also had the move 'Ancient power' but they were not concentrating on those moves. Axel also knew that just like 'Hidden power', it would take a lot of time to make it 100% but Mamoswine was hell-bent on reaching the 100% of ancient power.

Half of its training time was used in training this move and even after training it for months, it had only mastered it to 80%. Charizard was still on 35%. That was a huge difference.

Yet, Axel was not worried about it. Axel had a lot of Pokemons right now. There were Pokemons like Slowemperor that could replace it if he needed it and it was not like he was going to use it in gym battle soon.

Another Pokemons that was hell-bent on upgrading itself was Venusaur. Venusaur was very close to reaching tier 2 and it wanted to reach that stage as fast as possible. It had been upgrading its moves and some of the upgraded moves had a lot of interesting effects. Axel had not used it in any battle after it reached tier 1 of king rank but he knew that it would be very valuable in the tide battles.

Finally, the Pokemon who was hell-bent on leveling itself was Pidgeot. With some good words by Axel, it had recently ranked up to king rank. Pidgeot was not going to rank up so fast as it wanted to win the family competition but Axel assured that Venusaur would reach tier 2 in 7 months. Now, more than a month had passed and now it wanted to be as strong as possible.

Axel looked at Pidgeot's stats since it had ranked up.

Even though it had reached King rank a month ago, it had progressed quite decently. First of all, it had created its pre-domain move.

Storm Rider: The user would call it a thunderous storm with wild winds and hurricanes. The area of effect is around 15 meters (concentrated) and 15 meters (nonconcentrated). The user's speed and reaction time would rapidly increase during this time and it could also slightly manipulate all the winds.

This domain move was very different and also very dangerous. Normally, the domain move is like in a sphere shape, concentrated in a single area but this move is spread out. The move was also very dangerous as Pidgeot would call out hurricanes and storms with thunder to attack. It looked very intimidating.

Pidgeot had also improved some of its moves.

Steel wing (Pidgeot) (Level 40): It is more sharper and sturdier.

 (Level 45): 40% chance of raising its defense while using it.

 (Level 50): The user's whole wings would be coated with sharp and heavy steal just before the attack. This would increase the attack power of the move by a good margin.

Tailwind (Pidgeot) (Level 40): Pidgeot could change the direction of the tailwind as per its wishes.

 (Level 45): Pidgeot could change the direction of the wind on a much larger level that would also help other Pokemons around it.

 (Level 50): Can use this move during 'Hurricane' and 'Whirlwind' which would further increase the air control of the user.

Its new move 'Electric wings' was also very interesting. The move was especially good to be used against flying-type Pokemons and it would be using this move while fighting in the aerial battle in the tide.

While Axel and Blue were riding on their Pokemons, Pidgeot wanted to fly around with its new upgrade on its armor. The armor which was gifted by the system also had an upgrade when it reached king rank. They got heavier and the gravity surrounding the armor also increased by a huge margin.

At first, Pidgeot was not able to fly properly while wearing it but now it was getting used to it. It was making progress. Axel was worried that it might hurt its body due to this armor. The armor was being gifted by the system, but he had his concerns. So, he would regularly let doctors and nurses check its body.

Even after it reached king rank, he noticed that its body was getting stronger in a weird way due to this armor. Even the doctors were surprised.

"So, what did the doctors say?", asked Blue as they were riding on their Pokemons.

"The doctors said that the armor is slowly modifying its body. Not only its wings that have changed its shape a bit but also its body. Its wings are getting smaller and concentrated in some parts and bigger and wider in some parts. The doctors also said that its body is also been modified in some weird way.

But due to this modification, Pidgeot is able to fly faster, and longer and also its reaction time had increased by a huge margin and this would continue to increase if I were to use this armor.

The armor's function changed a bit as it got a bit harder for Pidgeot to wield it and I talked to the doctor again. The doctor was surprised yet again cause when a Pokemon reaches king rank, it becomes harder to change their body shape and size but this armor was doing it."

"So, it is basically a good news."

"Yes, it is and this is making me fearful to use the armor made up of Aeus energy on Charizard.", sighed Axel.

The armor changed Pidgeot's body in a good way but this also scared Axel to use the armor made by the league on Charizard. One of the objectives of coming here before was to use the Aeus energy filled in their suits and use it to make armor and weapons for his Pokemons. The league would take certain percentage of the energy as payment.

It was a good thing that Pidgeot was getting stronger but this was basically the blessing of the system. It arose the possibility that the body of a Pokemon could change while continuously using the armor and Axel didn't have a shred of confidence in the league.

So Axel didn't tell the league to make full body armor for his Pokemons. He chose another way. Like some weapons or armor for part of their body and he decided that his Pokemons would not use these armor until they were sufficiently strong enough.

After running for 3 days, they finally reached the hill of Shiinotics. Axel had destroyed and killed a lot of them before and he was ready for it yet again. He had already told them about it to Blue and Blue was interested in fighting with them.

The synergy of these Shiinotics was insane. Axel had a very hard time with his team to defeat them but due to some luck, they were able to grab the win.

The place where they lived was very iconic. The mountain and from the inside there was a passageway to the Dragon's den. This was a very good location for any attack.

It was around the morning when they reached that place. Axel and Blue were ready for anything that these Shiinotics would bring but for some odd reason, there was no attack from them.

They were staring at them but not with hostility.

"Hey, why are they not attacking?"

"Maybe Lucario said gave them order that they should not attack."

"This is very boring. I really wanted to fight them. Well, let's go inside. I want to meet that Champion rank Salamence.", said Blue.

They slowly started to move toward the Dragon's den. Blue could already see the massive statue of Salamence. It was very intimidating to look at. Blue could tell that they were already spotted here and the Pokemons were waiting for them.

As they reached the gate, the statue looked much more lively and intimidating. Unlike another resource-type places, dragon's Den was just right out there and it was not even hidden.

The gate opened suddenly on its own and both of them went inside. Axel called out Pidgeot to its master ball. Just for some reason, the place gave an eerie vibe. It just felt dangerous. It must be due to all the dragon-type Pokemons living here. Axel didn't have to come here but since he was coming to this island, he wanted to visit this place.
