Chapter 6: Training and First Battle (Edited)
The food was immensely flavorful. It could feel its body getting revitalized as if a boiling car engine was being cooled rapidly.
"Nido?", it said.
"Do you like the flavor? You will get it every day from now but you have to train hard for it.", Axel said.
"Nidooran".
Axel had finally studied the recipe for Nidoran's food. The book of the recipe was very detailed with the Biology of Nidoran. The food especially harnesses its poison power and other elements as Nidoran could use dark, ice, steel, psychic, electric, ghost, water, rock, and ground type moves.
Nidoran was a versatile Pokemon that could use almost all the elemental moves except for fairy type. Axel also planned to do some changes to the recipe as Nidoking would be a dual-type Pokemon:- poison, and ground type.
The ingredients of the food were substituted cause he found those ingredients in the wild. The main ingredients of the food were expensive, so Axel planned to get those ingredients when he starts to earn some money.
After some delicious food, they both laid down and slept instantly.
###
Next Day,
"Aahhh…Good morning", said Axel stretching his body in the morning.
"Ni..do..rannn", copied Nidoran.
Axel woke up and started stretching his body to do their normal routine and then to start running. Nidoran was still sleeping and refusing to move. After some motivation from its trainer, it finally decided to wake up.
Axel noticed that Nidoran was a very ambitious and exciting Pokemon. But it lacked the discipline to achieve it. Axel had to motivate and shout at Nidoran to do the training. He planned to change this behavior of his Pokemon gradually.
"Open status."

They started doing their training after eating their breakfast. After they completed their 10 Km run they came across a female Nidoran. It seemed like a spike got inside its body and it was walling loudly.
After it saw the duo, it got ready to fight. Axel had been avoiding wild Pokemon as much as he could but now, he decided that Nidoran must battle to get some experience. F. Nidoran started with its horn attack.
Axel said, "Okay buddy, just follow my instructions and we will be good."
Nidoran started to concentrate. "Dodge, the attack and create some distance."
Nidoran sidestepped when F.Nidoran charged its horn attack and backed off to create some distance.
"Now, charge and use tackle".
"Nido".
It ran and used 'Tackle', which connected successfully. F.Nidoran was critically hit and it was thrown 2 meters away and collided with a tree. The spike came off and it started to bleed.
"Find an opening and keep using tackle. Play safe, dodge if you need to" Axel shouted.
The F.Nidoran was distracted because of the pain and the blood. Nidoran concentrated and started using tackle. It was missed a couple of times. But after 4 successful 'Tackle', the F.Nidoran fainted. Because of the blood and bruises, it seems that it couldn't make it and would die.

Axel got more than half a dozen of notifications.
"Hmm.. It seems that stats increase faster when it battles. Real experience should be the key."
'Chip away' was a move that deals damage but ignores changes to the target's stats. Looking for an opening, the user strikes, continually. Nidoran looked a bit tired and it closed its eyes to meditate. Axel was the one who taught it.
After training, when it got exhausted, it will meditate and start to feel the air inside its lungs and concentrate on it. But when it meditated after being exhausted from training, it usually fell asleep. Axel had to wake it up to meditate repeatedly. This habit of Nidoran had still not improved. But accidentally,

Ding!
Due to continuous meditation, it has started to learn Rest (15%)

Pre-evolved Pokemons were simple-minded creatures. They only think about 3 things, that was to get stronger, to eat, and to sleep. After they start to evolve, they start to get intelligent. That was why pre-evolved Pokemon tend to learn moves faster and grows stronger at a rapid pace than the evolved Pokemon as its mind only revolves only around 3 things.
Axel previously planned that they would be practicing elemental moves but after observing today, he decided not to do it. There were 3 reasons for it:
1. Nidoran was in the process of learning 3 moves and Axel wanted him to concentrate on those moves first.
2. After the battle with F. Nidoran, he realized that physical powers like Defense, speed, and attack were very important. F.Nidoran looked more powerful than Nidoran but Nidoran won without many injuries due to its physical training.
3. Nidoran was only 3 months old. It had just ranked up from baby Pokemon to beginner Pokemon. At this age, the trainer should first concentrate on providing healthy food and developing the Pokemon's body and potential by training them in physical moves.
Most of the trainers didn't have any knowledge about this and they just trained their Pokemon without much planning. And the ones who knew about it also didn't follow this procedure cause it took a pretty long time and it didn't have that much of an effect on its battle powers.
How very wrong they were. This procedure didn't show the effect at the early stage but after the Pokemon is fully evolved, there will be a huge difference.
There was also the ranking of Pokemons like there was a ranking of trainers. They were:
1. Baby Pokemon ( Pokemon that are just born or Pokemon that are in their baby form like Togepi that can't exert more power)
2. Beginner or Common Pokemon.
3. Uncommon Pokemon (Fully evolved Pokemons.)
4. Rare Pokemon (Pokemons, fully evolved or not but having total base stats more than 500). Mostly Pseudo-Legendary Pokemons are in this rank. Note:- Total base stats are not fixed like in the game. It totally depends on how the trainer, trains his/her pokemon
5. Elemental Pokemon (Pokemon, that have evolved their elemental powers and affect a large area.)
6. Pseudo - King (Overlord of the forest or head of a stronger Pokemon tribe. They can change the environment due to their elemental powers.)
7. King (Elite 4 main Pokemons. Some of the weak and average legendaries are also in this rank.)
8. Pseudo-Champion.
9. Champion (Champion's main Pokemons. Like, Lance's Dragonite. Red's and Blue's main Pokemon.)
10. Master (Powerful legendaries like Mew, Mewtoo, and Oak's main Pokemons.)
11. God (It is predicted that only Arceus has reached this level but the power of Arceus is not confirmed.)
They were doing their normal routine, but Axel noticed that Nidoran was not paying much attention. A slight arrogance could be seen on his face. As it had just beaten its first opponent without many injuries it subconsciously thought that it didn't need to practice hard enough.
Axel thought to motivate his Pokemon again. He told some facts and what he told shocked Nidoran to its very core.
[Note: This novel will be a bit slow at first but if you are a Pokemon fan, you will not feel it and it will be very interesting for you.]
