Chapter 94: Chapter 94
**Chapter 94: My Husband is So Scared**
At noon, Zhao Ling and Bibi Dong returned to their hotel. Upon opening the door, they found Ah Yin sound asleep. Bibi Dong looked puzzled. 'How could she still be sleeping? She slept all night and all morning—like a little pig.'
She recalled how, back in Soto City's Fighting Soul Arena, Ah Yin would often fall asleep in Zhao Ling's arms. 'It seems she really does have the potential to be a pig,' Bibi Dong thought with a smirk.
She tiptoed over to the bed and gave Ah Yin's armpit a light tickle. Within seconds, Ah Yin, who was very ticklish, woke up with a giggle.
Seeing the two of them standing by the bed, Ah Yin stretched lazily and asked Bibi Dong eagerly, "Sister Dong'er, how did it go? Did your teacher finally approve of your husband? Does this mean you can, you know, be with him tonight?"
Blushing, Bibi Dong gave a small nod. Ah Yin squealed with delight, springing out of bed immediately.
"Yes! I can finally get a good rest tonight. Husband, why don't you spend time with Sister Dong'er instead, hmm?"
Zhao Ling, smiling mischievously, stepped up and slipped an arm around each of the women's waists. "What are you talking about? You're both mine; neither of you is getting away tonight!"
"No way, husband!" Ah Yin protested, pushing his hand away and scrambling to the corner of the bed, her voice full of mock indignation.
"Recently, Sister Dong'er hasn't been able to be with you, so I've been suffering alone! Now that she's available, you still want to drag me along? No fair! Tonight, I'm resting, and if you try anything, I'll… I'll fight you!"
With that, she turned her back, pouting.
Zhao Ling raised his hands in surrender. Ah Yin's reaction took him by surprise, and he could tell she was genuinely exhausted. 'Well, so much for my dreams of a night with both my wives,' he thought ruefully.
"All right, all right, Yin'er. I promise, you can rest tonight," Zhao Ling said, coaxing her gently. "I'll keep my word, okay?"
"Really? You're not tricking me, are you?" Ah Yin cast him a skeptical look. She knew her husband well; sometimes, he could be considerate and let her rest, but other times, he turned into a relentless beast…
"Of course! It's as true as the pearl," Zhao Ling said with a grin. He then pulled out a table and chairs from his storage space, along with some cooked beef, roast chicken, lotus leaf rice, and other delicious food.
"All right, Yin'er, time to eat. You must be starving; you didn't have dinner last night, and you've been resting all morning. Be a good girl and wash up for lunch."
"Mm," Ah Yin mumbled, nodding. She straightened her nightgown and shuffled to the bathroom, still half-asleep.
Watching her walk unsteadily, Bibi Dong gave Zhao Ling a pointed look. "Husband, if you dare wear me out like that, be warned—" She mimed a cutting motion with her hand, making Zhao Ling instinctively take a few steps back, the chill running down his spine causing him to close his legs defensively.
If anyone else had said this to Zhao Ling, he wouldn't have taken it seriously. But this was Bibi Dong—the woman who, when she turned dark, could eat her teacher alive, the one capable of wiping out the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, leaving only remnants.
"Honey… Please don't scare me like that. I'm so scared…" Zhao Ling muttered with a forced grin.
Seeing his panicked expression, Bibi Dong burst into laughter. "All right, all right, I was just joking! You don't have to look so terrified."
Just then, Ah Yin returned from washing up and joined them at the table. She was genuinely hungry, having eaten nothing since yesterday.
After lunch, Zhao Ling, feeling bored, took out a deck of wooden playing cards he'd carved himself. During his years alone in the mountains, he had passed the time by making games from his previous life, like poker, chess, and mahjong, as a way to stave off boredom.
Now, he began teaching the two girls how to play. With their intelligence, they picked up the rules of "Landlord" quickly. As they played, Zhao Ling was delighted to finally have companions, as playing alone had been mind-numbingly boring.
However, after just six rounds, Zhao Ling noticed something strange: his winning streak had vanished, and the two women's win rates had skyrocketed.
Especially Bibi Dong—her success rate as the landlord shot above 55%, followed by Ah Yin, who managed around 30% as the landlord.
But when Zhao Ling took the landlord role, the two teamed up against him mercilessly, defeating him over and over until he felt on the verge of mental collapse.
By the twentieth round, Zhao Ling tossed his cards down in frustration, his face a picture of defeat. "Enough! This game isn't fun. Let's play chess instead—now that's a game with real strategy."
At this, Ah Yin and Bibi Dong exchanged knowing glances, their smirks only deepening his frustration.
'How could I lose at Landlord, a game I've played hundreds of times?' Zhao Ling thought, feeling humiliated. He quickly took out a chessboard and set it up in front of them with a determined look.
"This is chess. Don't be fooled by the small board; countless strategies and tactics are hidden in this game. Are you ready?" he said, his eyes glinting with a competitive edge.
He placed the pieces and carefully explained the rules to the two women, who listened intently.
Soon, Bibi Dong played her first game against Zhao Ling. Being a novice, she struggled, and Zhao Ling had no trouble winning the first three rounds. However, he noticed that Bibi Dong's gameplay was improving significantly with each match. By the fourth game, he realized he was facing a real challenge…
