**Chapter 250: I Have Never Suffered Such Injustice**

"Don't worry. With me here, I guarantee you'll have good food and drink!"

The leader of the dozen burly men sneered as he kicked the restrained Yu Luomian in the backside. His voice dripped with disdain.

"Damn it! In Tiandou Imperial City, under the emperor's nose, someone dared to kill four people at once. It's like they don't take us officers seriously at all!"

As their leader vented his frustration, the other men followed suit, each taking turns kicking Yu Luomian.

For days, these officers had been patrolling tirelessly, trying to solve a murder case involving four victims. This was no ordinary incident; the gruesome deaths had caused a public outcry.

Sure, the explosion at the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family estate had resulted in over a hundred casualties, but that was internal clan business, beyond their jurisdiction.

However, four murders in a residential area? That was their responsibility, and failing to resolve it would tarnish their reputation as enforcers of the law.

But Yu Luomian had reached his limit. As the second-in-command of the prestigious Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family, how could he tolerate such humiliation?

With a roar of anger, Yu Luomian unleashed his Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex martial spirit. Two yellow, two purple, and three black soul rings appeared around him, signaling his status as a powerful Soul Sage.

The sudden burst of energy sent the officers flying, landing in disarray across the courtyard.

The men quickly scrambled to their feet, terror evident on their faces. The leader, recognizing the martial spirit and soul rings, paled as realization dawned.

"Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex…" he muttered, his voice trembling. "You… you're Master Yu Luomian!"

Though not as renowned as his elder brother, Yu Luomian was still a well-known figure in Tiandou Imperial City. The leader cursed his bad luck for unwittingly attacking the second patriarch of the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family.

Swallowing his pride, the officer bowed low in apology.

"I'm so sorry, Master Yu. My men and I are investigating a murder case. We didn't realize it was you. Please forgive us!"

Yu Luomian's anger did not abate. His glare was as sharp as lightning.

"Forgive you? After what you did?" he spat. "You kicked me, so now it's my turn. Line up!"

The officers had no choice but to comply, standing in a row, each braced for punishment.

Yu Luomian did not hold back, delivering powerful kicks that sent each man flying over ten meters. Some crashed into walls or potted plants, bleeding and bruised.

By the time he finished, the officers were in various states of disarray, clutching their sore backsides. All they wanted was to leave the courtyard as quickly as possible.

As his temper cooled, Yu Luomian's thoughts turned to the reason he had come.

Four people had been murdered in this house. What if one of them was his daughter?

His heart sank at the possibility. He turned to the leader, his tone serious.

"You mentioned a murder. Four people died here?"

The officer, despite his injuries, straightened and nodded. "Yes, Master Yu. Our superiors want us to solve the case within two weeks, but so far, we've found no leads. That's why we've been staking out this place."

"Do you know who the victims were?" Yu Luomian pressed.

The officer shook his head. "No. Their identities are unclear. One was dressed as a beggar, another as a merchant, and one appeared to be a nobleman. None of them had identification."

Yu Luomian's eyes narrowed. "Were any of them young women in their twenties?"

The officer shook his head firmly. "No, sir. None of them were women."

Yu Luomian exhaled in relief. But the officer hesitated, then asked cautiously, "Master Yu, is there a connection? Was one of the victims supposed to be your daughter?"

The officer glanced around the courtyard, noting the withered flowers. The neglected state of the garden suggested that whoever lived here hadn't returned in a long time.

Yu Luomian's expression turned icy. "Don't ask questions that aren't your business. Now, get out of here. If you're still here in three seconds, I'll break your legs and throw you out myself."

The officers fled, not daring to look back.

Left alone, Yu Luomian's mind churned with suspicion.

The family had sent four spies to monitor Zhao Ling's associates. Now, four people had turned up dead in his daughter's courtyard.

Was it a coincidence? Or could the murdered spies have been stationed here, watching his daughter?

A chill ran down Yu Luomian's spine. Why would they be monitoring her? What could they possibly hope to achieve?
