Chapter 8: Hero Saves the Beauty, A Small Test of Skill

If the ponytail girl and the seductive woman were not in the cabin together, seven or eight out of ten men would consider the seductive woman to be a beauty and would be physically attracted to her.

But the comparison is often daunting.

The ponytail girl, around eighteen or nineteen years old, is full of youth and purity, at the most beautiful time of her life. The seductive woman, on the other hand, is twenty-seven or twenty-eight, carrying an air of worldliness. Anyone would think that the seductive woman pales in comparison to the ponytail girl.

“This little girl is still inexperienced, and her skills in bed might not match mine. Brother Hu, let me accompany you instead,” the seductive woman cooed after hearing Duan Xiaohu’s words. She even slowly unbuttoned her clothes, swaying her body to seduce him.

Duan Xiaohu was a generous spender; just one night with him could easily bring in thousands in tips. She had come today expecting to make another quick fortune, but to her surprise, Duan Xiaohu was captivated by the ponytail girl. Naturally, she was unwilling to leave empty-handed and was determined to use all her charm to turn the situation around.

“Aren’t you just after some money? Do you think I’d shortchange you?” Duan Xiaohu pulled out a wad of cash from his pocket, threw it in front of the seductive woman, and scolded, “Stop showing off and get out of here!”

“Thank you, Brother Hu.”

Though humiliated, the woman’s face lit up when she saw the money. She bent down to pick it up and swayed her hips as she walked out.

With only Duan Xiaohu and the ponytail girl left in the cabin, the atmosphere changed instantly.

“Beauty, we meet again.”

The chubby Duan Xiaohu approached the ponytail girl with a sinister smile. Seeing the bound and beautiful girl, his heart was already itching, and he even forgot his headache.

“Mm…mm…”

The ponytail girl made muffled sounds, glaring at Duan Xiaohu. After being captured, she had broken out in a cold sweat, sobering up completely.

She never expected that this chubby guy actually had some influence and would seek revenge so quickly.

Duan Xiaohu yanked the cloth out of her mouth and threatened, “Beauty, if you serve me well tonight and obediently become my woman from now on, I might overlook what happened at the Lovers Bar. You’ll live a life of luxury with me. But if you don’t cooperate, I’ll lock you up on this ship and have my men take turns tormenting you every day. You’ll wish you were dead.”

“You dare!”

The ponytail girl gritted her teeth, trying to remain calm, though inside she was panicking. Being bound, she was truly at risk of being violated by Duan Xiaohu.

“You probably don’t know who I am, right? In Feiyun City, there’s nothing I don’t dare to do.”

Duan Xiaohu sneered and lunged at the ponytail girl, impatient to claim her.

“Stay away from me!”

The ponytail girl was terrified and in her panic, she twisted her body and fell off the sofa, causing Duan Xiaohu to miss his mark.

“Do you think you can escape on my ship?”

Duan Xiaohu wasn’t about to let her go. He caught up with her, pressing her down with one hand while removing his T-shirt with the other. He was lecherous by nature, having already set his sights on the ponytail girl back at the bar. Now, his lust was boiling over, and he could no longer restrain himself.

Seeing Duan Xiaohu’s flabby body and the thick gold chain around his neck, the ponytail girl felt a wave of despair. If her hands and feet weren’t bound, she could easily overpower Duan Xiaohu. But now, she couldn’t move and was at his mercy.

“You…you’ll regret everything you do today…” the ponytail girl murmured, tears streaming down her face.

“Regret? This is going to be an unforgettable night for me,” Duan Xiaohu said with an evil grin as he reached out to tear off her clothes.

“Brother Hu, how could you not call me for such a good time? Enjoying it all alone?”

Just as the ponytail girl was about to fall victim to Duan Xiaohu, a sudden voice echoed in the cabin.

“Who’s there?”

Duan Xiaohu was startled. He let go of the ponytail girl and looked around warily.

The seductive woman had left, and the two men his uncle Duan Wei had sent to help capture the ponytail girl had also gone. On the entire ship, only his two henchmen were guarding outside. How could there be anyone else?

“It’s me.”

A calm voice answered as a young man slowly walked into the cabin from the deck.

It was naturally Zhou Lang. He had ridden his bike and managed to follow them here.

Seeing Zhou Lang, the ponytail girl had a complex look in her eyes. If Zhou Lang and Duan Xiaohu were in cahoots, she would suffer an even worse fate today.

“Who are you? How dare you interfere with my business? I don’t think I know you,” Duan Xiaohu threatened, seeing that Zhou Lang was alone and appeared somewhat inexperienced.

“Duan Xiaohu, do you think I’m like you? Let the girl go now!”

Zhou Lang said coldly, making his stance clear.

His tone was completely different from yesterday, now carrying a certain coolness. Having become a Qi Practitioner overnight, he had the confidence that ordinary people lacked.

The ponytail girl felt a glimmer of hope upon hearing Zhou Lang’s words, but she didn’t hold high expectations as Zhou Lang looked like just a student who couldn’t possibly fight.

“So, you want to play the hero? But do you have what it takes?”

Duan Xiaohu sneered and shouted loudly toward the cabin entrance, “Gangzi, Liuzi, where the hell are you two? Get in here and teach this arrogant kid a lesson.”

A burst of hurried footsteps followed, and two young men who looked somewhat rebellious rushed into the cabin.

Zhou Lang had moved too swiftly. The two henchmen outside hadn’t realized it. Now, seeing a stranger inside the cabin, they were surprised.

“Brother Hu, who do you want us to teach a lesson?” one of the rebellious young men asked Duan Xiaohu.

“Are you blind, Gangzi? This guy broke onto my ship and is trying to ruin my fun. Teach him a good lesson!”

Duan Xiaohu pointed at Zhou Lang.

“Yes, Brother Hu.”

The rebellious young man called Gangzi picked up a steel pipe from the cabin and walked toward Zhou Lang menacingly.

“Where the hell did you come from? How dare you mess with Brother Hu?”

Gangzi said arrogantly, “If you kneel and apologize to Brother Hu, maybe I’ll only break one of your legs. Otherwise, I’ll throw you into the river to feed the fish.”

“If you’re going to fight, do it quickly. Don’t waste time with idle talk.”

Zhou Lang replied coldly. After last night’s encounter, he had become a Qi Practitioner, and he wanted to test his newfound abilities. In the past, he might have called the police in such a situation, but now he was ready to take the risk himself.

“You’re asking for it!”

Gangzi shouted angrily, swinging the steel pipe at Zhou Lang’s head.

But strangely, Zhou Lang’s figure suddenly disappeared from in front of him. Before he realized what had happened, Zhou Lang reappeared at his side and delivered a hard slap to his face.

Not only did Gangzi lose a few teeth, but he was also knocked to the ground, unconscious.
