chapter 3
Episode 3 First day of admission. (One)
* * *
Admissions are always boring.
What fun would it be to recite the history of an institution that you are not very curious about, or useless ideology?
I even have a rough idea of what they are.
Yawning is bound to come out of nowhere.
But, right now, I had no choice but to focus on this moment.
It’s a scene where the long-awaited senior cadet is called out.
[This year’s trinity academy senior high school student. Jerome LeClaire. Please come up on the podium.]
As the name’s owner cut through the crowd and revealed himself, the atmosphere in the auditorium began to become more bustling.
There are noises of rumbles coming from all over the place.
Well, I understand.
It’s amazing to see celebrities in real life.
He seemed to be aware of such a reaction.
Not only did he give his shoulders a lot of strength, but he didn’t release a relaxed smile even after he got on the podium.
He seemed quite proud of himself.
Of course, the country seems to be proud of it.
The senior position is not something anyone can get.
Besides, he has the title of being the only U-class cadet.
It’s an unfamiliar concept that doesn’t appear in the commonly used rank notation, so let’s take a moment to point out that U-class is one step higher than the S-class I’m enrolled in.
It will be easier to understand if you think of it as SS in the commonly used rank system.
Of course, I don’t think it’s a very intuitive notation either.
But what to do?
The setting of the work is such an ideal, there is no choice but to follow.
Anyway, since he was a guy with such a great position, it was natural to monopolize everyone’s attention.
Although I didn’t pay much attention to him.
There’s no time to worry about a guy who isn’t even the main character and isn’t even in the same class.
It was nothing more than a story that had nothing to do with how great his abilities were and what kind of narrative he had.
However, as all the spotlights were on him, the attention and interest of other people could only be his.
[Please be quiet.]
Oscar’s low voice echoed.
At that word, the noisy auditorium froze all at once.
This was not just a story for cadets.
Because I could see the high spirits on the podium, too.
Isn’t it really strange?
In essence, the name is to pass on to the subordinates.
It was said that we had no choice but to follow the command as we were under the boundary of the name podium, but those who were in the same row as Oscar who gave the order did not need to listen to the command.
However, the reality did not turn out that way.
Everyone here stood silent at the words of that tired-looking middle-aged man.
It was truly great leadership.
Of course, it comes from strength.
[This year’s senior student, I will also listen to Jerome LeClaire’s resolve.]
“I am delighted to be able to stand in such an honorable position. I’ll show you my hard work in high school. thank you.”
Unlike the arrogant attitude he had shown a while ago, it was a very ordinary determination.
Well, you don’t have to come all the way to this place and turn off aggro.
what’s left
It’s a little sad though.
If it had been a guy full of the temperament of a clown, he would have thrown a lot of energy on the spot.
Of course, this is not to say that such a guy will appear.
The characters that will appear immediately are far from clowns.
[This year’s senior high school students, including Alfred Eisner, and 5 outstanding high school students, please come up to the podium.]
“What?”
What Oscar said through the microphone was beyond my expectations.
Obviously, in this scene of the original, only four people are called.
Alfred Eisner, Mitsuru Aina, Cheon Hyun-woo, Beatrix Baldeck.
Why did it become 5 people?
I wondered who the other one was.
Unexpectedly, the subject was not far away.
The last S-class student of the year.
It was me.
As I analyzed the situation only with the contents of the original, I completely forgot what kind of background the real owner of this body had.
It wasn’t until I died that I couldn’t appear in the original, but now I’ve become a living person while possessing it.
Then it’s not the time to be so numb here.
I quickly got up from my seat and went up to the stage.
Even though I found a seat as quickly as possible, I was unhappy that I arrived a little later than the other four, and the tall people were looking at me with narrow eyes.
It seems that the second life is not going to go smoothly.
While we were so discouraged, a person who was supposed to be a secretary started handing out oaths to us.
… I never dreamed that the day would come when I would read this.
[The six cadets who climbed the podium, please read the oath.]
“Oath, I swear under the Trinity Academy, in this place where the protection of the Trinity of Dawn, the seeker of the world, and the guardian of order, the Great Triangle of Heaven,
First, I will be a servant of the will of this world that has given me strength.
Second, I will never misuse this power possessed by the world, even if someone asks for it.
Third, I will only use this power for the sake of human freedom, peace and security.”
Looking back, it was a crazy oath.
No matter how I looked at it, it didn’t seem like a request that a eleven-year-old kid could comply with.
I was forced to do it, but I don’t know if I read it properly.
It probably sounded quieter than the flapping of a mosquito’s wings to others.
Because I couldn’t put this content in my mouth at all.
Isn’t Oscar shy?
There is a person right next to me who reads the squeaky tinnitus, the guardian of order and the great triangle of heaven.
I know that he is a great person, and I know that reading the oath is only a formal convention, but if I were the main character of this oath, I would definitely have rewritten the contents of the oath.
Because it seems like I couldn’t handle the indignation.
As such thoughts flowed, laughter naturally came out.
Of course, I didn’t actually laugh.
Not a bright and light smile, but a sneer?
in this place?
I’d be lucky if I didn’t get socially buried.
So, I had to try desperately to put up with the groans that leaked out.
Recalling the most painful and difficult times as much as possible.
It would have been better if I had been one of the thousands of people down there watching this.
* * *
While he was in trouble by reading the oath, which was not even in the eleventh, a controversy arose over the intrusion of a person he had never seen for the first time under the podium.
“Hey, who is he?”
“I don’t know, kid. Rather, as an Asian, you should know, right?”
“The girl next to me is Ann Chun Hyun-woo… It’s my first time seeing him.”
Their reactions were not the only ones special.
Most of the people here were reacting similarly to them.
“Is the S class right? He went up instead of his friend, but no one noticed, right?”
“Is that possible?”
“Then, what the hell is that bastard?”
“I don’t know. sick bastard.”
The unknown cadet had become a hot topic more than Jerome at some point.

[This concludes the entrance ceremony. Congratulations on your admission to Trinity Academy. After keeping order and leaving the auditorium, run the Trinity Academy application linked with the serial card to find your class displayed in the application.]
It’s finally over.
While I was rejoicing to be freed from the heavy atmosphere that seemed to be weighed down, someone grabbed my shoulder.
I turned my head slightly trembling.
I just want to be nervous about something like this, but I had no choice but to do so.
I wondered what if he even knew me.
However, such worries were only in my opinion.
Because the owner of the hand was the protagonist of this novel, Chun Hyeon-woo, who had no contact with me.
“Who are you.”
“My name is Cheon Hyun-woo. Are you Korean?”
“Yes, my name is Park Seong-jin.”
I showed a reaction that seemed to tremble.
It wasn’t that he didn’t like it or that he responded that way.
I was just acting out the reaction that came naturally when someone I didn’t know grabbed my shoulder and stopped me.
“Sorry for stopping so suddenly, I was so excited.”
Perhaps he was conscious of my staring glances, he apologized first.
I didn’t even have to apologize.
“So, what’s going on?”
“Just, let’s be friends. It was so nice to see a Korean who was the same age as me after a long time. There are no Koreans in Trinity Academy.”
It is not that Chun Hyun-woo’s position is not understood.
The saying that there are not many at Trinity Academy, and that it is difficult to find Koreans of the same age, is certainly true.
However, to me, it only sounded like Insa’s deception.
Chun Hyun-woo was a guy who had a lot of friends even if he wasn’t Korean.
Suddenly angry
Of course, I didn’t express it outwardly.
“Well, yes. Let’s be friendly.”
“Were you in S-Class too?”
“right.”
“Okay then, see you in S-Class in a little bit.”
As if he had something to do, he quickly left for somewhere.
Did you just stop me to tell this story?
There really seemed to be nothing to do.
Well, that’s the case with me too.
In my spare time, I should take a look around the inside of the academy.
