CHAPTER 29 : Pluto (Beginning Of Arc 4)

One week had passed since the demise of Omega, and the cityscape outside Omega's office window remained unchanged, yet within its confines, a new sense of uncertainty lingered. Dorothy stood in the dimly lit room, clad in a sleek black suit and a long coat, her expression betraying no emotion as she surveyed the sprawling metropolis below.

"You sure have grown, to think you would kill Omega all by yourself," Dorothy remarked, her tone as cool as the polished surface of the desk before her.

Luchos, standing nearby, adjusted the lenses of his glasses as he responded, "I think he is the key. While scanning his body, I found out that he's 10% human, 40% robotic, 20% Hiapong, and 30% Purgers. He was amazing, even if he is just a prototype."

Dorothy nodded, her gaze fixed on the distant horizon. "Do you think it was a good idea to leave him in the forest so Windslo can raise him?"

"Yes, it was," Luchos affirmed, his voice tinged with conviction. "Pluto is still nowhere to be found. We think he removed his tracker, and all the human fused we sent to find him disappeared."

With a calculated movement, Luchos retrieved a recording device from his pocket and placed it on the table between them. Pressing a button, he initiated playback, and the room was filled with the anguished cries of the missing human fused.

"This is the last recording we got from them," Luchos explained grimly, his eyes fixed on the device. The screams grew more desperate, interspersed with pleas for mercy, until a chilling, eerie laugh cut through the chaos, signaling the end of the transmission.

Dorothy's expression remained unchanged as she commented, "Looks like Pluto knows where he stands in the food chain."
