King's Plateau is where the Dressrosa palace is located. It sits at the highest point of the kingdom and serves as a villa for the royal Donquixote family. Only top-ranking family members are allowed to live there. From the outside, it looks like an elevated resort. 

"Is that the main gate over there?" 

Luffy, Zoro, Law, and the one-legged toy soldier secretly observed the gate from a distance. The toy soldier, who was once Kyros—the husband of the former princess of Dressrosa and a legendary gladiator with a thousand victories—nodded in confirmation. 

"That's right, but we don't need to bother with the gate," Kyros, the toy soldier, turned to another direction. 

"We can sneak in through this secret path..." 

"Wait! Isn't someone missing?" 

Just as Law exclaimed in surprise, a familiar loud shout from Luffy could already be heard nearby: 

"Gomu Gomu no Giant Gun!" 

*BOOM!*

With a deafening explosion, the palace gate and the walls on either side shattered like brittle cookies under Luffy's punch, crumbling into ruins. 

"Hehe, the door's open." 

As Luffy flashed a toothy grin, Law's blood pressure spiked instantly. "Open what?! That wasn't the plan!!" 

"Our best option was to sneak in and assassinate our targets, not fight our way through! Do you even understand—" 

"Great, my swords have been itching for action," Zoro said, drawing his katana with an eager look on his face. 

Faced with Zoro's excitement, both Law and Kyros could only exchange speechless glances before turning to someone else. 

"Don't panic," the calm voice of the pigeon-keeper echoed beside them. 

"This whole mission was meant to be a distraction from the start. As long as we can keep Doflamingo and Admiral Fujitora occupied, we're good. Why else do you think I brought Luffy along?" 

Of course, it's because Luffy's chaotic style is perfect for drawing attention wherever he goes! 

"So... what should I be careful about?" Law asked. 

The pigeon-keeper tilted his head. 

"Just don't die, and you'll be fine." 

?! Is this how the Straw Hat crew operates on a daily basis? 

"Hehe, let's go!" 

Before anyone could react, Luffy stretched out both arms and grabbed the other three in a move he called "Rubber Transport," charging directly toward the palace. Law was left in tears, thinking, *I'm such an idiot... There's no way anyone wouldn't notice this kind of 'stealth mission.'* 

Sure enough, the palace's Den Den Mushi immediately rang, and a frantic report reached Doflamingo's ears: 

"There are intruders at the front wall of the palace! The leader has been identified as 'Straw Hat' Luffy!" 

?! Doflamingo abruptly turned his head, his expression dark as he watched the live broadcast of the colosseum battle. In the arena, "Lucy," wearing a cloak and helmet, moved effortlessly among the ferocious fighting fish, as if casually picking out groceries in a market. 

"Straw Hat Luffy is the intruder?" 

Then who's that guy in the arena?! 

"Wave—" 

? 

"Elbow Strike!" 

With a loud shout, Burgess, clad in strange armor, bent his right arm and lunged at Roman with a powerful blow. 

A high-frequency shockwave distorted the air around them. Huge slabs of stone were ripped from the arena floor, and a massive rift tore through the ground, hurling debris like a wild beast charging forward. 

But—"Kami-e!" 

In an instant, Roman's body, dressed like a magician, transformed from "three-dimensional" to "two-dimensional," bending like a willow in the wind to evade the deadly attack just in time. The shockwave Burgess unleashed blasted past him, slamming into the audience stands. 

Boom!! Wherever the shockwave hit, the stands collapsed. Tiles were ground into powder, and spectators—both humans and toys—were sent flying in all directions. As for how many were still alive after landing... well, only fate would know. 

"This bastard!" 

"He even destroyed the stands..." 

"Get the stretchers! Somebody help!" 

Standing on the battlefield, Roman—who had just checked on the situation in the other three arenas—glanced at the massive hole in the stands and touched his mask.

"What is this? Randomly picking a few hundred lucky spectators to die from AOE?" 

By the time you reach the level of fighting against one of the Four Emperors' top officers, coming to 'watch' without any real skill is just asking for death! Although Roman had no obligation to protect those who came for the thrill of blood and combat, he muttered: 

"Fine, since everyone else has started making their moves, I guess I should step it up too. So—" 

While effortlessly dodging Burgess's attacks, Roman turned his head and shouted toward Sabo, who had just shattered Diamante's sword with a steel pipe. 

"Lucy, stop fooling around." 

"Grab the Mera Mera no Mi, and let's go." 

?! "How arrogant—" 

Diamante's face twisted in fury. These two, one from the Straw Hat crew and the other likely the so-called 'White Knight,' were acting outrageously, as if the Flare-Flare Fruit was already in their possession, completely disregarding the other three contenders on the platform. 

He had no idea that Bartolomeo, who was casually 'shielding' himself off to the side, was the Straw Hat crew's number one fan. Otherwise, he would've been even more speechless. 

On the other hand, the moment they clashed, Diamante quickly realized how terrifyingly strong this 'Luffy' was! Without using any Devil Fruit power, he could easily suppress him. 

Meanwhile, the 'White Knight' was effortlessly dealing with Blackbeard Pirates' Burgess, despite being seemingly distracted, making Diamante grow increasingly uneasy. If they got serious... 

Roman had no time to care about Diamante's 'inner struggles.' He simply stepped back lightly, retreating over ten meters in an instant, making Burgess—who hadn't even managed to touch his clothes—angrily shout. 

"Coward! If you've got the guts, fight me head-on instead of dodging like this!" 

"Don't rush," 

Roman said, clenching both fists and striking a stance. 

"You'll get plenty of chances to fight head-on soon enough. But for now—" 

Boom! 

Roman's double-fisted strike, charged with power, slammed into the platform, stunning everyone! Burgess and Diamante immediately raised their guard, unsure what kind of attack Roman was using. The audience, who had already experienced several waves of collateral damage, instinctively stood up, ready to flee. And then— 

Nothing happened!? "What the—" 

Just as one spectator was about to speak, an eerie high-frequency vibration traveled up through their feet, instantly causing a buzzing sensation throughout their body! 

The world in front of them blurred and wobbled, and all they could hear was an endless stream of noise. In an instant, it felt like their brain had turned to mush, and they fainted with a roll of their eyes. 

This wasn't an isolated case—one after another, weaker spectators collapsed without a sound, leaving the rest in utter shock. 

"Hmm, still not enough control... I ended up affecting the audience too," Roman thought to himself. 

Meanwhile, visible ripples formed on the surface of the water around the platform, creating chaotic waves that turned the entire pool into a violently trembling drumhead! Thousands of quakes swept through the water beneath the platform in relentless waves. 

The destructive power of the 'Quake-Quake Fruit' was undeniable. After all, everything has a natural frequency, and if the shockwaves resonate with that frequency, even the strongest materials could fall apart. In the face of the Quake-Quake Fruit, nothing could truly claim to be 'invincible.' 

Splash! Splash! Splash! 

The next moment, several giant fighting fish leapt out of the water around the platform. Their once vicious and bloodthirsty expressions had vanished, replaced by pure fear and instinctive terror. 

"Infrasonic Shockwave!" 

"Lucy," 

As Roman spoke, Sabo immediately understood. His gaze swept across the fish, and he spotted a treasure chest on the back of one of the fish leaders. 

Swish, 

He leapt onto the fish's back. Seeing the swift action of 'Luffy,' Diamante sneered coldly. The chains on that chest were made of Seastone! How could a mere Straw Hat— 

Rip...

The sturdy treasure chest was casually torn open, and the Mera Mera Fruit fell into his hands. Diamante's expression instantly twisted into a bizarre look, with his eyes practically popping out of his head. 

"How is that possible?!"

You're a rubber fruit user—how can you ignore the Seastone chains… "Put the fruit down!"

Burgess, unaware of any trickery, immediately prepared a wave-elbow strike toward 'Luffy,' who had grabbed the Flame-Flame Fruit. But in a flash, a white figure effortlessly appeared in front of him.

"Hey, big guy."

Roman clenched his fist, and a blinding white light began to radiate from it. The familiar sign of his power made Burgess's expression change instantly. "That's—"

The captain's Tremor-Tremor ability?!

"You wanted a head-on fight? Here it is."

Twist, punch—

*CRACK!*

In an instant, the air shattered like glass under Roman's fist. Fine black lines appeared out of thin air, and beyond those cracks was not just darkness—it was an indescribable void. The very space itself had been torn apart by the tremors.

"Ahhhhh!"

Faced with this terrifying punch, Burgess's hair and beard stood on end. He instantly stopped caring about the Flame-Flame Fruit and instead frantically channeled all his Armament Haki, pushing his body and mind to the limit as he focused it on the armor covering his right arm. He swung his entire body, charging toward the mysterious fighter with an armored elbow strike.

"Unyielding Fleet—Elbow Strike!"

*BOOM!*

The two immense forces collided violently, instantly causing half of the arena to collapse. Huge chunks of shattered stone shot dozens of meters into the air! The vibrations rippling through the air made the spectators dizzy and nauseous. The low-frequency shockwaves even caused slight internal organ resonance, severe enough in some cases to knock people unconscious or cause internal bleeding.

And that was just the 'aftershock.'

"How… is this… possible…"

As his armor shattered, Burgess's massive body was flung backward, his injured right arm hanging limply. His opponent's Haki brought back a recurring nightmare in his mind—*that* punch that haunted him for two years! No way… Could it be the Marine's fist?

Roman couldn't hear his thoughts. If he could, he would have nodded in agreement.

That's right—Roman's Armament Haki was trained through countless punches from Garp… cough, I mean, rigorous practice sessions.

"Not bad, that was quite a punch."

Sabo, who had grabbed the Flame-Flame Fruit, landed on the remaining half of the platform. He crouched down, spreading his fingers on one hand, with his index and middle fingers together, as well as his ring and pinky fingers, all coated in Armament Haki, forming a dragon claw.

"But let's finish this match first."

With that, he unleashed his Haki outward—

"Dragon Claw—Dragon's Breath!"

*CRACK CRACK CRACK!*

In an instant, countless cracks spread out, shattering the remaining half of the arena into rubble! The sheer power of his 'claw,' honed to destroy tyranny, dug deeper and deeper downward, even breaking through the water basin beneath the arena and further into the depths below.

Having lost their footing, Diamante and Bartolomeo fell into the water basin, instantly becoming powerless. Roman, dressed like a magician, flicked his cape and floated backward, landing directly at—

The second-floor window of the coliseum, where Rebecca stood, stunned.

The Mera-Mera no Mi was right in front of you, and yet you… 

Wait! That guy Lucy is also his ally, so—

"Great, everyone else has fallen off the platform."

Now, only a small, unbroken section remained beneath Sabo's feet.

"According to the rules, I'm the winner."

Removing his helmet, beard, and cape, Sabo revealed his true face and took a bite of the fruit.

"Ugh, it tastes awful…"

Boom—

Flames burst from his body, confirming the owner of the Mera Mera no Mi!

"Ahhhhh, that face!!!"

In the panicked crowd, some had already recognized him.

"It's the second-in-command of the Revolutionary Army, Sabo!"
