Paper Paper Fruit In One Piece

Chapter 316: Chapter 316: Three-Pronged Attack

Underneath a vast sunflower field in Dressrosa lies the secret headquarters of the Riku Royal Army's rebellion.

"What?!"

"They're turning people into toys and enslaving them, and everyone forgets about the people turned into toys?"

Luffy stood up angrily.

"I'm going to punch that 'Sugar' girl into the sky right now!"

"No, no, she's just a little girl. Let me handle it!"

With the help of Roman's healing paper, Chopper and Law's medical skills, and some blue flames, Usopp, who was previously severely injured, was back to his lively self. When it came to dealing with little girls, he was confident.

"This is my specialty!"

"Usopp, your arms and legs can't take any more impacts like before, or they'll break completely!"

"Relax. A mere little girl is no problem for me."

Great, his spirits were high. Let's hope Sugar doesn't end up thrashing him.

Even though Sugar looked like a child because of her Devil Fruit ability, she was actually Monet's younger sister. While her Armament Haki might not be strong, her Observation Haki was undoubtedly sharp. The fact that she could instantly eliminate an entire group of fast-moving dwarves showed just how dangerous she was.

"Luffy, do you need my intel?"

"Of course."

Everyone except Nami and Brook had gathered here, leaving the Sunny under their watch. Nami's abilities were best suited for open seas, and her poor close-combat skills meant she needed a dedicated guard.

With his exceptional speed in normal circumstances, Brook was the best choice. If they encountered a strong enemy, he could hold them off for a short time until Roman could "teleport" over to help.

After all, this was enemy territory. The Straw Hats weren't reckless enough to leave the Sunny unguarded on the coast.

"Based on the intel from the little warriors of the Tontatta Kingdom, Princess Violet's special ability, and my scouting efforts—"

Roman extended his white dove wings, and the falling "feathers" formed a white sand table on the ground. It showed a detailed layout of Dressrosa's streets and buildings, along with chibi-style representations of the Donquixote family members.

"Wow!"

"It's exactly like the real Dressrosa..."

As the Tontatta warriors marveled, Law sighed deeply.

With every corner of the terrain exposed and every move of the enemy visible, the odds of success increased significantly. It was like one side had a complete map hack, while the other was fumbling in the fog of war.

"Our targets are three locations."

This was no longer an adventure; it was a battle. Luffy wasn't foolish enough to reject Roman's intelligence. As for the others, they had waited ten years for this moment. Whether it was Law or the oppressed people of Dressrosa, they wanted every piece of information Roman could provide—even down to the color of the enemy's underwear. No one would complain about too much intel.

"The first target is the 'Underground Factory' located beneath the palace."

Roman's dove began pointing at the underground structures revealed beneath the cracked sand table, explaining, "This is the underground black market of Dressrosa, where various weapons and contraband are smuggled through hidden waterways to all parts of the world. Meanwhile, one of the high-ranking officers, 'Trebol,' is here to protect the key person, 'Sugar,' who has the power to turn people into toys."

It turns out that under Trebol, there are two other officers, 'Violet' and 'Jora,' but now one has betrayed him and the other has been captured. This left the 'BUG' group with only two members.

Art, fun, staring...

"I'll go, let me go!"

Usopp raised his hand high first. Compared to an underground factory run by a creepy man and a little girl, the other places were filled with real powerhouses.

"Then, who else wants to go with Usopp?"

Hmm...

The rest of the Straw Hats weren't too keen on bullying the weak and a little girl. Only Robin stepped forward, "Let me go with Usopp."

"And us, us!!"

A group of Tontatta had been convinced by Usopp's boasting, already seeing him as a hero. Of course, they wanted to follow him through thick and thin.

Actually, this is the center of all the plans!

As long as they defeat Sugar, they could release a large number of Doflamingo's enemies.

However...

Do you really think just because Trebol looks bad to the audience, his strength is also lacking? Though he's probably the weakest among the high-ranking officers, his speed, vision, and technique are all decent. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to control those who lost in the arena.

Oh well, let's watch Usopp and Robin perform.

"Now, the second location: the entrance to the 'Toy House' factory."

"Because the Donquixote family doesn't know we can enter the factory through the secret passage, they've placed most of their forces at the visible entrance."

"Four 'martial arts' officers—Lao G, Machvise, Dellinger, and Senor Pink—are stationed here. We need to send a few people to hold them off. Otherwise, once we start dealing with Sugar, the enemy officers will surround the factory from both sides."

These four are all experienced warriors, stable in battle. Especially Lao G and Dellinger, their fighting strength rivals that of high-ranking officers!

"Martial arts? Who cares what they are, I'll blast that factory away!"

Sanji and Franky were energized, and Chopper hesitated for a moment before standing up as well.

"Great, finally, the third location: the palace!"

The remaining Straw Hats were only Luffy and Zoro, and naturally, this most dangerous place was left to them.

"Donquixote Doflamingo, the 'king,' is located here. Also, there's a special forces unit with a wide range of strength, stationed here: the final high-ranking officer, 'Pica,' along with 'Gladius,' 'Baby-5,' and 'Buffalo.'"

These guys have Devil Fruits that are powerful in specific situations but are weak after their initial attacks. That's why they serve as Doflamingo's personal guards.

"If word of us attacking the 'Underground Factory' reaches here, it's hard to say whether the enemy will stay put or send out everything. We need someone to hold them off, at least so they can't support the factory."

"At the same time, there's one more tricky person here."

Roman's dove flapped its wings, adding a blind Marine admiral in a Marine coat to the palace location.

"Marine Admiral 'Fujitora,'!"

"Although he doesn't want to help Doflamingo, due to his position as a 'Warlord of the Sea,' he'll at most cause some trouble for us with his sea powers..."

And if Dressrosa's darkness didn't come to light, Fujitora didn't want to see the Warlords of the Sea dying at the hands of pirates. Because if that happened, other kings might mistakenly think that the 'Warlords' were fighting to the death against pirates...

"I'll also go to the palace,"

After some urgent treatment and various methods to restore health and stamina, Law, who was already feeling much better, stood up.

"The White Knight, I will lead the attack on the palace with Luffy and Zoro."

Although Law's ability was very strong for dealing with weak enemies, its best use was in team battles, offering support. Just the fact that he could instantly teleport his teammates made him incredibly powerful! Gear Fourth Luffy, charged-up Zoro—do you even stand a chance against that?

"So, this is the plan," The White Dove summarized,

"The arena will be handled by Sabo and me. As soon as we get our hands on the Mera Mera no Mi, we will rush to support you."

As for the enemies in the arena? Roman didn't even consider them a threat, and the Straw Hat crew had complete faith in him. If there were truly any powerful enemies, Roman would have handled them long ago.

So far, Roman's combat abilities and intelligence had always been reliable, and this time was no different: "Alright, then let's split into three groups and head out!"

Luffy stood up to make the final decision: "Roman, take me and Zoro to the palace!!"

"...Let Law lead you two clueless guys. I've got 'important' things to do here."

---

Boom!!

A massive fighting fish suddenly slammed into the arena, shaking the entire platform.

"As you can see, these are not the same 'fighting fish' as before. These are the leaders of the various fish groups! Nothing else matters here—only absolute strength can make them submit... and that means defeating them in battle!"

A tall man wearing a fringed hat, with two lines carved into his face and a red cape, dressed like a tribal warrior, began explaining the rules of the final battle.

"The Mera Mera no Mi is in a box on one of the fighting fish's backs. Whoever grabs the fruit and remains standing in the arena will be the winner!"

"Then—let the match begin!!"

'Lucy' in a helmet, cape, fake beard, and holding a steel pipe; 'Neo' in a mysterious magician outfit; Bartolomeo, the Straw Hat crew's number one fan; Burgess, the top captain of the Blackbeard Pirates; and Diamante, one of the high-ranking officers in the Donquixote family, all took their places on the arena.

"Ha ha ha, the Mera Mera no Mi is mine!"

Roman, behind his mask, rolled his eyes at Burgess' loud laugh.

Laugh all you want. You won't be laughing for long.

"Heh, looks like none of you are taking me, the 'Arena Hero', seriously."

Diamante? Sorry, you're just a cripple who was abandoned for ten years and got killed in a one-on-one battle. Don't embarrass yourself.

"Lucy, you go after the Mera Mera no Mi."

"I'll handle these two!"

As for Bartolomeo? Just shout '666' from the sidelines.
