"It's all a trap!" someone shouted angrily, cursing, "Demon World is indeed full of malice!"

"Yes, all of this indeed is an Illusion Realm I set up. Even if you've discovered it, what can you do? No one can escape from here alive!" the Demon declared, "Everything you've seen about the Abandoned City was an illusion I personally crafted; none of it was real and now, you probably won't live to see the truth of the Abandoned City! Hahahaha!"

Affected by his words, the crowd grew more panicked. Thousands of people frantically ran outward, but they were all eventually blocked by the Barrier.

"Thinking of running? Dream on!"

"All of you must die!"

By now, the crowd's panic had reached its peak.

Women holding children, children carrying parents, some people came here intending to fulfill a nebulous hope for their families or themselves.

"Try it if you can." Changqi stood shoulder to shoulder with her.

The breeze picked up, billowing their sleeves and hems. The people who had been furiously beating at the Barrier now couldn't help but look towards them.

"Haha, two ordinary people, could be dead in the snap of my fingers," the Demon said nonchalantly, snapping his fingers, "It would have been better to have you two die first right from the start! To make up for the regret, it's best to have you die first now!"

"Ambitions of the Demon World are clear!" Su Zhiruan sized him up, then said in a joking tone, "All you talk about is wanting this one dead and that one dead."
