"So what is this called?"

"Eternal Damnation." Demiurge said.

"So what is its power?" Shalltear asked.

The rest of them also looked at Demiurge, demanding the uses. If the sacred gear was not up to standard, they wouldn't tell Lord Alex.

As it would be shameful to present him with anything inferior. But since Demiurge told them that he made the sacred gear, they know that its quality won't be questioned, as Demiurge won't give Lord Alexander anything inferior or half-baked.

Demiurge met their expectant gazes with a measured smile. "Its power is multifaceted because I used Lord Alexander's blood as a base. A lot of his abilities came to become part of this gear because, for that reason, this gear may not be much use for him, but for anyone else this gear gives insane power stats. Shalltear is especially compatible with this gear. Since Lord Alexander didn't tell me specific sacred gear to create, I made the most powerful gear the current me can create."

"Its first ability is Blood Dominion: The user can control and manipulate blood, both their own and others'. This ability allows them to drain life force, heal rapidly, and even command blood to form weapons or barriers. The blood of the ancient vampire god within the gear enhances this power to an almost godlike level, allowing the user to control vast amounts of blood with deadly precision."

Shalltear's eyes lit up at the mention of blood manipulation, a skill that aligned perfectly with her vampiric nature. She could already imagine the potential destruction she could wield with such an ability.

Demiurge's smile widened as he continued. "The Sacred Gear's unique offensive capability is Beast Manifestation. This power allows the user to summon and control the spirits and beasts—Aura's creatures that were sacrificed in the creation of this gear. These entities, bound to the user's will, are imbued with rage and torment, making them powerful servants capable of overwhelming opponents with their sheer malevolent force."

Aura, who had been quietly listening, murmured a soft "Nice," though her tone was tinged with a hint of sadness. Aura loved her summoned beasts and pets dearly, but she understood that their sacrifice was for the greater good of Nazarick and Lord Alexander's ambitions. She took solace in knowing that their essence would live on within the Sacred Gear, serving a higher purpose.

Demiurge, aware of Aura's feelings, gave her a respectful nod. "Their sacrifice was not in vain, Aura. Their power now contributes to the strength of Nazarick and our Supreme One."

"And this gear's last ability is Curse of Eternal Damnation: This is the gear's ultimate ability. The user can invoke a curse upon their enemies, condemning them to eternal suffering. This curse manifests as a debilitating effect that weakens the opponent over time, draining their life force, eroding their willpower, and eventually trapping their soul in eternal torment. The curse is nearly impossible to lift unless by a being of equal or greater power. This ability is the product of Lord Alexander's life drain and one of my evil Lord's abilities." (Demiurge's evil lords are summonable)

"The only drawback is if the user is very weak, then they are constantly at risk of losing themselves to the bloodlust and primal instincts of the beasts and the dark desires of the vampire god. If they overuse the gear's powers, they may find it increasingly difficult to retain control, potentially leading to a complete transformation into a monstrous being. Instead of just saying I will give you a live example." Then Demiurge looked at his shadow and murmured something.

As the gate shimmered and opened, Evil Lord Wrath stepped through, his imposing presence immediately commanding attention.

Beside him, a frail, disheveled man in tattered clothes stumbled forward. His eyes were wild, darting around the room with a mix of fear and madness, muttering incoherently under his breath. His appearance was a stark contrast to the grandeur and power exuding from the Guardians of Nazarick.

The room fell silent as the Guardians turned their gazes toward the newcomer. The man's muttering grew more frantic, his body trembling uncontrollably under the weight of their collective stare. A pitiful whimper escaped his lips, a sound more animal than human, as he shrank in fear, realizing the enormity of the beings before him.

Aura, always one to break the tension, spoke first. "Who is he?" she asked, her voice laced with a mix of curiosity and disdain.

Shalltear's crimson eyes narrowed as she studied the man more closely. "Ara, ara," she murmured, a twisted smile playing on her lips. "I believe I've seen him somewhere before."

To which Demiurge said, "He is valuable material provided by Lord Alexander. If I recall correctly, his name was... Freed."

At the mention of the name, some of the Guardians showed faint recognition, but none seemed overly concerned with the man's past. His future, however, was of great interest.

Demiurge continued, his tone clinical and detached. "Now then, I will demonstrate the drawbacks of the sacred gear I have created. This is necessary for us to fully understand the extent of its power and the cost of its use."

He retrieved the sacred gear from a glowing container. The artifact hovered in the air, a sphere of pulsating light that seemed almost alive, radiating an unsettling energy. Without hesitation, Demiurge handed it to Evil Lord Wrath, who then forced it upon Freed.

The moment the Sacred Gear made contact with Freed's skin, it latched onto him with a sickening squelch, as if it were alive and hungry.

The effect was immediate. Freed's eyes rolled back in his head as he let out a bloodcurdling scream that echoed through the amphitheater. His body convulsed violently, and his skin began to blister and crack, blood oozing from the newly formed wounds. The Sacred Gear, now fully integrated into his body, began to glow with a dark, malevolent light.

Freed's screams intensified, his voice raw and filled with agony.
