"Actually, I have met another one of his lovers," Rias said, her voice carrying a weight of seriousness.

"You have? Who is she?" Sona and Akeno asked simultaneously, their curiosity piqued.

Sona then glanced at Akeno, a hint of exasperation in her expression, while Akeno sighed softly. "That playboy," she murmured under her breath, shaking her head. It was clear that she wasn't exactly thrilled about Alex's ever-growing list of lovers, but she knew there was little she could do. Alex had been honest about his intentions from the beginning, after all.

Rias nodded, understanding their reactions and the concerns that came with them. "She introduced herself as Death," she revealed, her voice steady but somber, "his first wife."

Both Sona and Akeno froze, their eyes widening in shock at the revelation.

"Death?" Akeno repeated, disbelief coloring her tone. "As in, the personification of Death?"

Rias nodded again, confirming their suspicions. "Yes, but she's actually pretty cool for being the personification of death. She was nothing like I expected. In fact, she's one of the reasons why I decided to challenge Riser to that one-on-one duel."

Sona and Akeno stared at Rias, trying to process the gravity of what she had just told them.

"Wait," Sona said, holding up a hand as if to steady herself. "You're telling us that Alex's first wife is literally Death, and she's the one who inspired you to face Riser directly?"

Rias took a deep breath before continuing, her gaze steady as she looked at her friends.

"Yes. She appeared out of nowhere or more like Alex took me to her, and the way she talked to Alex… it was clear that they shared a deep bond. She wasn't just powerful; she was wise and insightful. When she spoke to me, she didn't belittle me or my feelings. Instead, she encouraged me to trust in my own strength. She made me realize that I needed to confront Riser on my terms, not just as a devil, but as a leader and as someone who loves Alex."

Akeno shook her head, still trying to wrap her mind around the idea. "It's hard to believe. I mean, Death herself? That's… that's beyond anything we've ever faced."

Sona, though still in shock, began to understand the situation better. "Rias, this means Alex is connected to powers far beyond anything we imagined. If Death is involved… it's not just about his power. It's about what he represents, what he's a part of."

Rias nodded in agreement. "Exactly. This isn't just about having a powerful lover or ally. It's about understanding the bigger picture. Death told me that loving Alex means accepting everything that comes with him—his past, his power, his responsibilities. And she said it in a way that made me feel like I could be part of that, like I could stand beside him, even with all that he's involved in."

Akeno's usual playful demeanour was nowhere to be seen now. She looked at Rias with a newfound respect and concern. "Are you sure you're ready for that, Buchou? To take on everything that comes with being with Alex?"

As if she herself wasn't ready, but the truth is Akeno has already decided that she is his, and he would stand with him even if the world is against him, after all she is Alex's mistress.

Rias smiled, though there was a trace of uncertainty in her eyes. "I don't know if anyone could ever be truly ready for something like this. But I do know that I love him, and I'm willing to try. I'm willing to face whatever challenges come our way, as long as I'm with him."

Sona placed a hand on Rias's shoulder, her expression softening. "I'll be with you, Rias. No matter what happens, we'll face it together." 

Akeno nodded in agreement. "And if Death herself is part of this, then we'll just have to be strong enough to handle it. After all, we've never backed down from a challenge before. But one thing, I need to know how many wife he has."

"I don't know, I didn't ask because of the heat of battle." Rias said.

And as if remembering something, Sona suddenly said. "Oh by the way, Rias, I proposed to him and he accepted it."

Rias blinked in surprise, momentarily caught off guard by Sona's sudden announcement. "Wait, what? You proposed to him?"

Sona nodded, a small, almost shy smile tugging at her lips. "Yes, I did. I told him how I felt, and he accepted. So… I guess that makes me his fiancée now."

Akeno's eyes widened, and she let out a playful, teasing laugh. "Ara, ara, Sona, you move fast! I didn't think you'd be the type to propose first. But then again, with someone like Alex, I can't blame you for wanting to secure your spot."

Rias felt a mix of emotions swirling within her—surprise, a bit of jealousy, but also happiness for her friend. She knew how deeply Sona cared for Alex, and she is the first one out them to express her love. Still, the realization that things were moving so quickly between them left her feeling a little unsettled.

"Congratulations, Sona," Rias finally said, offering a sincere smile. "I will also tell him my feelings." she said the second half on her mind.
