Fan Lin had paid for his drinks and left after finishing his cake.

The Elders being the only ones present to continue their previous conversation. They started to discuss how they were going to "lay it out" to everyone that although it was a good news and everything was a ruse, we also found a lot of things that are concerning but not life threatening concerning but power scaling wise.

Things like Fan Lin being completely able to just ascend himself to the Rank 91 Titled Douluo if and whenever he wanted to.

Or that his body was sort of immune to energy attacks now.

Or that attacking him is a bad news.

Or his soul power was extremely condensed and he could also work as a power generator to the Pagoda's Power corporations.

The world revolved around soul power tech and someone here had a lot of it, just lying around and being produced everyday.

Or how he could not be a father or well, too much energy, his partner would just die.

Along with other things. Lots of other interesting things.

If Fan Lin knew about their misdiagnosis even after he had been plainly making things simple, he would have beheaded them.

Fifteen minutes later.

"How are we going to deal with this?" [Elder Dou]

Elder Dou asked Elder Huazhi. They were still sitting in the cafe and empty plates laid out in front of them. The waiter didn't seem to pay any mind to them though.

The cafe was empty. It was still early morning.

"What about you, how much are you going to share to the rest?" [Elder Huazhi]

"Not much." [Elder Dou]

Elder Dou answered curtly, not keen on telling anything about it.

"And how much is your 'Not much'? [Elder Huazhi]

Elder Huazhi pressed forward.

"What about you? You were the one who couldn't keep this to himself and now the whole world knows. What are you going to do about this? Are you planning to reveal... everything?" [Elder Dou]

Elder Dou reflected the question back at Elder Huazhi.

"No. I will tell them it was a ruse and there's no need to worry about anything. It was all just a bad miscommunication ordeal." [Elder Huazhi]

"I should have explained well in my part that Fan Lin had never came for any kinds of assistance in bomb diffusal. He had wanted to know about the implications of changing spirit souls and if he would be able to safely do so without any repercussions." [Elder Huazhi]

"I was unsure of how the Pagoda will take the news that Fan Lin was thinking getting rid of the Boundless Ring and had just told about the other incident to garner support for his plans." [Elder Huazhi]

"I never meant for this to turn into this. Fan Lin had said that everything was fine. That's what I had relayed to everyone as well and most had been on line with that line of thinking. We know him enough. Fan Lin doesn't make empty words or false promises." [Elder Huazhi]

"He hasn't yet." [Elder Dou]

"That ducker Dongfeng must have definitely done something behind the scenes to have so many voices to raise their disapprovals. Why did you even tell him about it? You know how much that little shit wants Fan Lin." [Elder Huazhi]

Eldee Huazhi pointed his stubby finger at Elder Dou, questioning Elder Dou with slightly resentful tone.

If Elder Dou hadn't told Qiangu Dongfeng about Fan Lin's 'Energy Body', they could have kept this a secret and the matter wouldn't have been so out in the open.

One day, they would have contacted Fan Lin to get the answer to this and Fan Lin would have told them. He hadn't hidden it now and he likely has no reason to hide it in some other future as well.

Elder Dou looked at Elder Huazhi and rasied his hand to put down the finger that was extended towards him.

"First of all, you were the one who made a mess out of this situation. You and your group spread it instead of keeping it to yourselves, and secondly, I was just doing what I thought was the best at that time." [Elder Dou]

"He had suddenly appeared, asked me if he would blow the planet if he explodes, and then immediately left after giving me a scare. He didn't specify anything. He didn't contact or tell me about it later on and neither did his face or voice was telling me anything about his intentions." [Elder Dou]

"I was scared of the worse and had thus contacted the President to deal with Fan Lin since I couldn't think of anything that I could do in that situation." [Elder Dou]

"He hadn't even told us why did he even visit me with that question? Why did he wanted to know that? There's definitely a lot going on that he isn't telling us, and truthfully, it was like it was on purpose, just like the events that had happened in this week" [Elder Dou]

"Vice President suddenly changing her plans to return to the Headquarters and instead going to visit Fan Lin."

"Fan Lin and President being in touch with each other despite our warnings to him. And without our knowledge at that."

"The President giving land to Fan Lin as rewards and Fan Lin, out of all the things that he could be needing for his cultivation, asking for land. That barren land?"

"The Pagoda getting most, if not all, of the research data back, Qiangu Dongfeng's stable situation in the headquarters."

"Him suddenly announcing Fan Lin's future plans and then not even a few days later, Fan Lin coming to us to ask those questions and without the knowledge of the President."

"Lastly, Vice President has been eerily silent to most of our questions regarding Fan Lin, as if either she doesn't know or she doesn't want to tell anyone. That's suspicious."

"There are lot of links that we are missing. Something is definitely going on that we have no knowledge off, thus cutting any chances of us intervening into it. Qiangu Dongfeng is definitely up to something, and we need to find out what."

Elder Dou pointed out the big events that had happened in the last week and how it was severely affecting everything around them with most of them being related to the President of the Spirit Pagoda Qiangu Dongfeng.

Be it Qiangu Dongfeng's alliance and sudden care for Fan Lin's future cultivation progress, Fan Lin's weird need for the land in the west or Vice President's Leng Yaozhu's sudden and unprecedented visit to Fan Lin that started all this upcoming events.

Everything seem to be somehow, one way or another, related to Qiangu Dongfeng. They just didn't know how. Elder Dou wanted them to know though.

Elder Huazhi nodded his head at his words. He himself had been overwhelmed with the amount of news and announcements that he had heard in the past week. Most of which contained Fan Lin and Qiangu Dongfeng in one way or another.

"What of this though? How is this related to your 'how much'?"

Agreeing to Elder Dou, Elder Huazhi pressed forward once again.

"..." [Elder Dou]

Elder Dou straightened his beard.

"I will just tell them about the Energy storage thing and that he isn't dying." [Elder Dou]

"Nothing about the energy generation, compression and his desire to create his Four Word Battle Armour through it? Along with the other things?" [Elder Huazhi]

"No. None of that. You already know why. Don't waste my time." [Elder Dou]

"I won't. I won't. I hope you keep your word. I will tell the Council about his plans after the replantation though." [Elder Huazhi]

"I don't think they would accept Fan Lin changing his Boundless Ring. That's the most valuable asset that he has, the Pagoda, even the President will do everything to stop him from do so. You are really planning to do this?" [Elder Dou]

"I wasn't. After having a deeper understanding of how his body was operating and what he wants, I am. He is right in his decision to leave everything and start over and we need to suck it up that he is going to." [Elder Huazhi]

"He is going to finish the replantation. He had completed his part of the deal then." [Elder Huazhi]

"You don't have any power to choose that for him. You know that. So do I. Even the President had failed to do so. His importance is rising everyday, I don't think what you are envisioning will happen." [Elder Dou]

"I am not deciding anything. He had. He will do what he wants to. He had left Shrek and he can leave the Pagoda without any qualms." [Elder Huazhi]

"Personally, I am on a neutral position on this because I would rather have Fan Lin as an acquaintance instead of an enemy of the Pagoda." [Elder Huazhi]

"I don't know about this. If he becomes a threat. He should be removed. Although it will also likely destroy a lot on our side as well. We have to battle him on an empty land or another realm altogether." [Elder Dou]

"Or using sealing techniques. Whatever. I will bade my farewell now. I truly hope you know how much to tell and whom you are going to tell." [Elder Huazhi]

"My beard didn't grow yesterday. I know what I am doing." [Elder Dou]

"Yeah." [Elder Huazhi]

Elder Huazhi left the cafe after settling the bill. Elder Dou left as well, both leaving their separate ways.
