Chapter 1: Prologue
We all know that the life of a demigod is dangerous. Terrifying. They must constantly look over their shoulders to avoid being killed in a horrible and very painful way. And when you have nowhere to go, when there is no place where you can be safe, that danger only becomes even greater.
That is the case of one of those demigods. His name is Percy. Since the fateful day when he turned twelve, he was forced to live on the streets for years. Unaware of the cruel world in which he inhabited. A world full of ancient Greek gods, mythological monsters, and creatures that lurk in the darkness of the most common places, waiting to have a piece of it.
But even in the darkest place, you can find a small ray of light. A hope. For Percy, that hope comes in the form of a little ten-year-old girl, Sammy, a very special mortal. Luke, son of Hermes, prankster and brave, always willing to never give up. Thalia, daughter of Zeus, defiant and bold, ready to kill any monster that tries to harm those she loves. And Annabeth, daughter of Athena, intelligent and fearless, who sees Thalia and Luke as her family.
Together, they will travel the country facing monsters and gods. On their travels, their bond will become stronger, until they form what they thought they had lost, a family.
