The Grim Rabbit (NSFW) – Edited Repost

Grim walked through the glade. Normally he'd stay far away from this place - it was rumored to be haunted, after all. But today was different. He'd seen a girl run in here and feared she might be caught up in some trouble. He saw her running ahead of him, sliding between trees like a wraith. He sped up, breaking into a sprint. She stopped and stood on a log, looking back at him with a smile. He saw rabbit ears and her two larger front teeth. He realized she was a bunny girl when he saw her fluffy tail twitching, a split second before his whole world became a blur, and suddenly everything was upside down. More accurately, HE was upside down, hanging by a noose trap around his ankle. He heard giggling and looked over to see the bunny girl smiling and waving at him.

He took a breath and exhaled as he heaved himself up, using the dagger latched to his hip to slice the vine, dropping him hard onto his back on the forest floor. He heard a squeak and looked up just in time to see her run off.

"Oh, that's it, you little rabbit whore..." He grumbled as he got to his feet and took off after her. He pulled his bow from his back and drew an arrow, setting it between his teeth as he ran.

After a long chase, he lost sight of her completely. He heard a waterfall nearby. He walked over to the last place he had seen her and quickly found her trail. He followed it as the sound of the waterfall got closer.

He found her washing her face, thinking she had lost him. He pulled the arrow from his teeth and nocked it to the bow. He didn't want to harm her, so he whistled, getting her attention. She stood and turned to him as he loosed the arrow. It flew through her shirt at her waist, pinning her to the tree she was next to. She turned and tried to run but found she was held in place.

Grim walked up to her, his expression one without malice, just annoyance. He grabbed her wrist and broke the arrow to free her. He pulled her towards him, then pushed her to her knees.

"What the hell was that trap, huh?!" he questioned her.

"It was just a prank, I'm sorry... I didn't know it would actually hurt you," She replied.

"You didn't think dropping thirty feet on my back would hurt?"

"Well... You were near a tree you could've used to climb down if you had grabbed it before cutting the vine..."

Grim's breath caught in his throat as he processed what she had said. She planned not just the trap, but the escape as well.

She closed her eyes and her ears drooped, "Please don't kill me, sir..."

Grim put his bow away, "I don't intend to. What's your name?"

"Ch-Chocomint..."

Grim nodded as he looked her over. She was wearing ratty rags for a shirt and pants, but her skin was clean. She had small chocolate-colored patterns on her skin, and her ears were two different colors - one was brown while the other was bright white. He walked around her and saw this was true of her poof-ball tail as well.

"Are you done looking me over...? It's embarrassing..." she complained.

"Chocomint... Do you have a home?"

She shook her head, "Kinda. I live in a hollow tree near here."

"Have you eaten anything?"

"I ate some berries earlier, they're good!"

"Would you like some food?"

"Yes, please! And thank you very much!" Her eyes lit up as she answered.

Grim pulled out his rations for the day and let her eat to her heart's content. "I do have a few questions. Why are you dressed in rags?"

She swallowed a bite, "Because I haven't had a home in a while."

"And why not? Surely your mother must be worried about you..."

Chocomint dropped her gaze and her ears drooped again, "I'd rather not talk about that... suffice it to say that I'm not welcome back there anymore..."

Grim sat in front of her, "Let me guess... you played a prank kind of like you did on me today, it went too far and someone got seriously hurt? I daresay, it wouldn't surprise me if they died."

Chocomint stared at him in surprise, "How...?"

Grim sighed, "You're not the only one with a past, girl. When you're ready to tell me yours, I'll tell you mine. Until then, how about you come back with me? I could use a partner and you could use a home. I think we could help each other."

Chocomint choked on the food, so Grim offered her a drink of water. She gulped greedily, then turned to him, "Are you serious?!" she yelled, crumbs of food on her face.

Grim shook his head and wiped away the crumbs, bringing a blush to the bunny girl's face.

"I can clean myself, you know..."

Grim looked her over, "Really? I didn't know by the crumbs on your face. Come on, let's go. Do you have anything you want to bring?"

"Nope."

"Good. Follow me out."

Chocomint stood and happily followed him out. As they exited the forest, she wrapped her arm around his, beaming up at him.

"What have I gotten myself into...?" He asked rhetorically.

A few days later, Grim and Chocomint were walking together, enjoying the weather.

"Why aren't we moving faster?" Chocomint asked.

"I've got to keep an eye out for bandits, remember? It's safer to move more slowly, even if it takes longer."

Chocomint looked up at the sun, which was still low in the sky, "It's still early. Why'd we have to leave so early?!" she complained.

Grim looked over at her, "Early? You took an hour just to wake up and another to get dressed. It's already late in the morning for me."

"Well, I'm sorry I'm not yet used to being on your schedule! I'm used to sleeping and waking up based solely on how tired I am!"

Grim rolled his eyes, "Why am I not surprised the bunny girl is lazy..."

Chocomint smiled back at him, "I'm not lazy. But now I don't have to forage for food. It means I can devote more time to other things I enjoy. Like sleeping."

"We don't have to forage, but we still need to earn money. Same goal, different task to accomplish it."

Chocomint shrugged, "All that matters at the end of the day is that I don't go to bed with an empty tummy."

Grim just grunted in response as they continued their walk to their quest.

An hour later they're standing in front of a goblin cave, with two goblins with worn arrows in their chests.

"Looks like this is the place. These goblins were killed by a rival tribe. We've been recruited to help the Ratglub tribe against the attacking Broketooth tribe. Don't attack the goblins with grey paint."

Chocomint nodded her head, as she raised her fists. Grim drew his sword and walked into the cave ahead of her. He lit a torch and waited while his eyes adjusted.

They walked through the cave, following the faint sounds of battle into a large open chamber. There was a roar to the side as a werebear ran out and swiped at Chocomint. Grim dove, pushing her out of the way. He took the full force of the hit, slamming him sideways into a wall.

Chocomint recovered and called out to him, "GRIM!"

Grim coughed, spewing blood over his breastplate. He stood and glared at the werebear, "You're fucking dead, you son of a bitch..."

He ran in, dodging under another swipe with a slide. He came to his feet and slashed at the creature's back. It roared in pain and spun on him. Grim jumped on it, landing on its back as it spun. He dropped his sword and drew his dagger stabbing at it repeatedly.

The werebear reached back and hooked its claw under his armor, then flung him forward, slamming him into the ground. Grim rolled over quickly, as the bear started mauling him. He screamed in pain. Chocomint ran up and leapt at the bear. She punched and whipped the bear's head around. She rolled under its head, then jumped up, landing on its back. She reached down and grabbed its head, forcing it around. After a few moments of struggle, the head snapped with a sickening crack, and the bear slumped down, dead.

Chocomint ran over to Grim, seeing the damage the bear had caused. He was barely breathing and his armor and flesh had been shredded.

He reached his hand up and placed it on her foot, wincing with the effort, "Go. Finish the quest, Minty..."

Chocomint shook her head, "You need help! I won't leave you!"

Grim smiled up at her, "Just go. Please. I'll be fine. Just let me rest..."

She stared, not sure how to react. She nodded, "Fine. But if you die, I'll kill you..."

Grim laughed, spitting blood onto the cold stone floor, "Deal..."

Chocomint ran off and found the main forces battling each other in the, well, in what the goblins would call the throne room. She charged in, her fists making short work of every goblin that didn't have grey warpaint that she saw. After half an hour, there weren't any enemy goblins left. The grey-painted goblins looked at the bunny girl with a mix of anger and fear.

Grim walked up behind her, and spoke in goblin, "Calm down, allies. We are not enemies. Hired to help."

The lead goblin stepped forward, "You hired? We glad."

The leader tossed a small bag of coins over. Grim knelt and grabbed the bag before bowing, elbowing Chocomint when she didn't. After, he stood and walked out, whispering to Chocomint in common, "Don't look back. Goblins are very particular."

Chocomint followed him. They left the cave before Chocomint leapt onto Grim, wrapping her arms around him.

"I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONNA DIE!!"

Grim grunted as he caught her, "Nah. I won't die that easily. Take a look." He set her down and turned so she could see his back. He had changed his clothes, so he lifted his shirt, showing that there were barely any scars left.

"My name isn't just a coincidence. I'm literally a grim reaper. But people misunderstood me when I first came to this world, and they thought my name was Grim Reaper. In the end, I just went with it."

Chocomint took a step back, "You're a reaper?"

Grim nodded, "Yup. I'm one of them, anyhow. There's a lot of us. But I upset Death, so I got kicked from the corp until I die."

"You can die?"

Grim smiled at her, "Everything can die, my dear Minty. It's just harder to kill an emissary of death."

Three months have passed since Chocomint learned the truth about her new companion. They had an easy friendship, and she still enjoyed playing her pranks on him, knowing that she wouldn't actually deal him any permanent damage.

They were walking through the same glade they met in. Grim was walking behind Chocomint, as they had a quest to pick some rare medicinal flowers, and she knew exactly where they were to be found. Suddenly she takes off. Grim sighs and chases her. Within a few moments, they were back at the waterfall they had met at. Chocomint slowed just enough to let Grim catch up. She looked back and stumbled, tripping on an upraised root. Before he had time to register, Grim tripped as well, landing next to her. After a long moment, Chocomint started laughing as she looked over at him.

"It's so fun to just run sometimes, isn't it?! I'm surprised you could keep up!"

Grim looked at her, but her infectious laugh spread to him and before he knew it, he found himself laughing right along with her.

After a few minutes of laughing, they lay there as the sunset set the sky ablaze.

Grim spoke, as he started to rise, "We should find those flowers and get back."

Chocomint grabbed his sleeve and pulled him back down, "Not yet. I want to stay here with you. Watch the stars with me... please?"

Grim smiled and nodded, "Fine. But tomorrow morning, we need to get back on our quest."

Chocomint sighed as Grim lay beside her. After a moment, she rolled over and laid her head on his chest, closing her eyes and twitching her ears as she listened to his breathing.

They quickly fell asleep together.

Another three months later, Grim woke up with Chocomint out of bed, laying with him, and snuggling up to him. She'd been doing this more and more lately.

He reached down and rubbed her back softly, "Minty... It's time to wake up."

Chocomint groaned and pushed herself up, looking over at him with a smile, "Good morning, Grim."

Grim smiled back, "Good morning, Minty. Let's get up."

Chocomint rolled her eyes, "Fine...." She groaned in annoyance.

Grim stood and stretched the sleep from his muscles. He looked over and saw Chocomint staring at him before she turned away and blushed.

"Aw, does the bunny girl have a crush?" He teased her.

She mumbled, "I'll crush your head, you jerk..."

Grim smiled and patted her head between her ears, "Maybe later, kid."

Chocomint glared at him, "I'm not a kid! I'll have you know I'm twenty-three!"

"Oh, little miss adult over here. I'm over five hundred."

"But that's not fair! You're a reaper! You don't age!" She retorted.

Grim smiled down at her, "If you want to count the years I've been on this plane, then I'm one."

Chocomint glowered at him, "Don't say that, it makes me feel like a creep."

Grim turned and lifted her into his arms, "Well, bunnygirls are naturally creepy, with those little masks over their eyes."

Chocomint struggled against his grip, "That's - NHH!! - RACCOONS! YOU'RE- HHHH!!" She wheezed as her back popped. He released her and she fell onto the bed, a small grin on her face, "Warning... Next... Time..." She panted.

Grim chuckled, "But that's no fun, little one. I like the look of surprise on your face.

Chocomint curled her legs up, pushed them forward, and pushed her shoulders off the bed, springing back to her feet. She stood on the edge of the bed, looking down at Grim, "Thanks for the pop, buddy!"

Grim wrapped his arms around her thighs, "Buddy, huh? That's not what you cuddling with me every night this week says you think of me."

Chocomint playfully hit his shoulders, "And?! Bunnies are naturally more affectionate!"

Grim fell to the bed, dragging her with him. He got on his hands and knees over her. As he stared down at her, he spoke, "So I've heard."

Chocomint blushed as she registered what he was saying. After a long moment, she dropped her eyes from his and mumbled, "Yes..."

Grim leaned in, "What was that?"

The bunny girl glared at him, "I said, 'Yes'. I want it. I want you. I've wanted you since that night we spent watching the stars in the glade..."

Grim stared for a moment, then leaned in and kissed her, sliding his tongue into her mouth. She moaned into the kiss. Grim moved a hand to her cheek, then down her neck and to her breast. He softly massaged her white/chocolate-mottled flesh.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist, pulling him down to her. He lowered himself to her. She pushed his boxers down with her hands, then all the way off with her feet. Grim pulled back to remove her shirt, then he lowered himself to her dark chocolate-colored nipples, sucking one into his mouth as she pushed her skirt down. He kissed down her soft stomach, enjoying the peach-fuzz-style fur that covered her body as he slipped her skirt from her bare feet.

He moved up, kissing up her thighs to her precious treasure - the glistening slit that just had the barest hint of inner labia poking out from between the puffy outer lips, splitting the joining of her legs seductively. He moved closer, taking in her scent.

'carrots... fresh lettuce... a fertile spring garden, with freshly tilled soil...' He thought to himself, as her scent provoked the images in his mind.

Chocomint looked down at him, "H-hey, stop sniffing and focus jerk! It's embarrassing..."

Grim smiled up at her, "But... It brings back fond memories. Memories I didn't realize I had..."

He shook his head and moved in, licking her slit, moving quickly for the little button near the top. Chocomint squealed as his tongue hit her, then switched to mewling as his tongue found its target. He brought up his hand and slipped two fingers into her entrance. He thrust his fingers in and out, keeping up his rhythm with his tongue until she grabbed his hair and pulled him up to meet her eye-to-eye.

She leaned in and let out a low, husky growl, "Fuck me... now..."

Grim grinned at her like a young boy opening his gifts on his birthday as he lined his now throbbing, leaking head at her entrance. She brought her legs up and wrapped them around his waist, as she pulled him toward her, impaling her almost entirely on his pulsating shaft. Grim grunted as he felt her tightness wrapping itself around his girth. She held him there, panting, and adjusting to his girth as he watched her face rapidly switching from shock to pain to pleasure to bliss.

"Are you quite alright, Minty?"

Chocomint weakly nodded, her eyes half open. "I...I think... I came..."

Grim looked at her, confused, "From that? I've just entered you, I haven't even started moving yet."

She turned her head to look at him, her eyes still half closed, "You're a master... of foreplay..."

Grim just smiled and slowly started moving out, before he gently pushed back in. Chocomint exhaled heavily as he withdrew, then inhaled sharply as he pushed back in, her whole body vibrating as he did so. Her legs twitched while her nose and pussy quivered at the sudden rush of pleasure. Her ears drooped down to the bed, as every muscle in her body contracted and relaxed in rhythm with his slow thrusts.

Chocomint regained enough sense to wrap her arms around his neck. She looked up into his eyes and spoke on her exhales, "I... ah... I love you... Grim... nnhhh... I want to be... your bunny..."

Grim felt his heart swell at her words. He leaned in and kissed her on a thrust in. "I love you too, my sweet bunny - My beautiful Chocomint."

Her ears swiveled to him, "That's the first time - ah - you've called me - by my full name - nhh! - in weeks..."

Grim just smiled and leaned in, kissing her neck as he felt his orgasm rising. He sped up for a few thrusts, bringing her another orgasm as she screamed in pleasure and drew her nails across her back - opening wounds that healed almost immediately.

Grim collapsed next to Chocomint, who had a slight smile, with a lewd expression on her face.

"That was quite a show, 'Grim'," a voice said. Grim looked around and saw a figure in a black robe standing by the window.

"How long have you been there?" He asked, pulling out of Chocomint and sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Long enough. Death wants you back, though I fail to see why you were asked to leave in the first place."

Grim grimaced, "I was told I lacked empathy for life. If They want me back, then either it's urgent or I've proven myself.

The figure removed their hood to reveal the wide, toothy smile of a skull there.

Grim gasped and clambered off the bed to bow on the floor, "Death!"

"Fret not, for you are no longer a member of my legion, though you continue to use their name. I'll allow it. You seem to be the only one with a true appreciation for the gifts that life can provide. Tell me, do you genuinely love this girl?"

Chocomint sat up, recovering from her bliss, "Love? Me?"

Grim started to respond a few times, but stopped each time, not sure how to react.

Death's skull seemed to almost smile more, "That's love, Grim. That's what it feels like. That tugging in your chest to be near the person at all times. That desire to throw down your own life in defense of them."

Grim nodded, "That's precisely how I feel towards her, My Lord."

Chocomint caught on, "Wait, this is Death? Like, THE Death?! And you didn't warn me?!"

Death chuckled, "Miss Chocomint. Take care of this one. Our legion has been hectic since he started his adventures, and I fear every time that the one I'm called to collect is him. But..." It turned towards Grim, "I'm proud of you, my Son."

Chocomint choked on her tongue momentarily before she recovered, "SON?!"

Death sat down, "I suppose I owe an explanation. I'm Death. I'm neither male nor female. You'll hear us refer to myself as male, female, and neutral pronouns. I'm a culmination of the end of all life - Every plant, every animal, every sentient being, even several gods. Grim here, is a secondary being, separate from myself, while other Reapers are extensions of me. I have been growing weary in recent millenniums. I created him as a fraction of my own collection to grow and constrain himself. Though as that was the case, he lacked empathy for the lives he was ending. This made him brash and impatient. A force such as myself cannot have children, though I've watched him grow from a small seed into the man he is now."

Chocomint listened intently, while Grim seemed to blush as his younger self was revealed to her.

"I bet he was adorable as a child!" The bunny girl said.

Death laughed, even slapping his bony knee with an equally skeletal hand. "He was never actually a child in the conventional sense. But yes, as a young force, he was quite entertaining to watch. I had to create three more reapers, just so I could spend more time with him. Now, Grim, we come to why I'm here. Do you wish to return?"

Grim's mouth dropped open. All he had wanted since his expulsion was being offered before him, but yet... He looked back at Chocomint, who had a sad smile, as she nodded her head.

Grim set his jaw and stood, looking his parental force in the eye sockets, "I can't. I do wish to return, but I refuse to leave Minty here alone."

Death stared for a long moment, "Are you certain of this, Grim? I won't make this offer again until your body's natural death. And should you end it sooner by your own hand, I'll expel you from all universes, not just into one."

Grim held his right hand over his heart as his left reached for Minty's hand, "I won't leave her, Father."

Death nodded, the light in his sockets seeming to dim momentarily, giving the impression of a long blink.

After a moment, Death stood up and walked over, placing a hand on Grim's shoulder, "My apologies, but I had to be sure. I grant you the Truth of Life, Grim. You'll retain all abilities, but you'll now grow and age. When your life or hers ends, I'll gladly welcome you back home with open arms. The truth is, I've always loved life. It's been my deepest desire since the moment I came into existence with the first death to be able to create life of my own. You are the best I could do, and I simply could not be more pleased, my Son."

Chocomint piped up, "Hold up a moment... If you're a force, how the fuck did you have a son? And for that matter, You said you created Grim from yourself, so wouldn't that make him a force as well? But how the hell is he here, now, physically?! And-"

Grim cut her off, "Hunny bunny, calm down. This is my boss you're yelling at."

Death seemed to smirk as he pulled his hand back, "I am no longer. She is. She's your girlfriend, after all. You're partners, but most mortal couples tend to air towards what the female wants, so..."

It turned to Minty, "And to answer your questions, young one, I created him in a way that's little different from how all life is created, except that I used the leftover fragments of life that each death provides. I had Lady Life's permission to attempt it. Second, he is a force. But he was granted a body upon his expulsion. The exact form it took was largely based on the souls he'd been comprised of at the time. Mostly male, so he's male. Mostly muscular, so he's muscular. You could've very easily been sleeping with a female just then if he had collected more feminine souls. And to your unasked question, he can have actual children, though they'll be half reaper and half bunny, so good luck in dealing with a bunch of deadly bunnies."

With that, They bowed and swept their robe around themselves, disappearing within a seeming nothingness. Grim turned to Chocomint and smiled.

Chocomint glared at him, "What are you smiling about? What if I'm pregnant? Death said they'd be deadly. What if I'm killed by them?"

Grim sat next to her, "You won't be. They shouldn't get their powers of death until they're older and learn to manipulate the forces themselves."

Grim wrapped his arm around her and sighed deeply, content that he's been granted a life now, and a return in death. Chocomint wrapped her arm around him and smiled up at him. They both knew they were going to have a rather intriguing life.
