As the small boats swayed on the waves Nami stood with her arms crossed, glaring at the others. "There's no way we'll make it to the Grand Line like this," she said firmly.
Goku and Luffy, sitting cross-legged, nodded eagerly. "Right!" they said, "We need a whole lot more food!"
Zoro leaned back, smirking. "And some booze wouldn't hurt either."
Nami's patience snapped. "Shut up, you idiots! That's not what I mean!" She pointed at their barely seaworthy boat. "We need a bigger and better ship to even survive the Grand Line! And we don't have enough people."
Luffy tilted his head, thinking for a moment before his face lit up with excitement. "You're right! We need a cook! And a musician too! Someone to keep us entertained!" He grinned.
Zoro paused, then burst out laughing. "A musician? You'd prioritize that over something useful?"
"Musicians are useful! They keep morale high!" Luffy argued.
Nami pinched the bridge of her nose, sighing in exasperation. "Forget the musician for now. First, we need to focus on the essentials: a proper ship and a functional crew. If we don't, we'll all just end up dead in the Grand Line."
She unrolled her map and pointed. "South from here, there's an island with a village. We can stop there and maybe find a decent ship."
"Alright!" Luffy shouted, punching the air. "Then it's settled! Let's go to that village and get our ship!"
Zoro smirked. "And maybe some booze."
Goku grinned. "And food!"
Nami sighed again, rubbing her temples. "Is that all you three think of...?"
[syrup, Village]
As Goku, Luffy, Zoro, and Nami stepped onto the shore, Luffy excitedly asked. "There's a village here!" he declared, looking around eagerly.
Nami glanced at the surroundings. "Yeah, but it's pretty small."
"That means there's meat!" Luffy cheered.
"Ye I'm pretty hungry " Goku added with equal enthusiasm, his stomach growling loudly.
Zoro stretched and smirked. "And booze."
Suddenly, Zoro's playful demeanor shifted to seriousness as he narrowed his eyes and looked up at the cliff above. The bushes rustled, and Zoro's hand instinctively moved toward his swords. "Careful," he said in a low voice. "We're being watched."
Luffy, oblivious, tilted his head. "Watched? By who? Is it someone who has meat?"
Before anyone could respond, small rocks started flying through the air, aimed at Goku. Goku, unbothered, dodged them effortlessly with quick side-steps. "Hey, who's throwing stuff?" he called, looking up.
Suddenly, flags adorned with skulls and crossbones emerged from the bushes above. A voice rang out dramatically: "I am Usopp, the great captain of the Usopp Pirates! Coming onto this island was a foolish mistake because I have 80 million subordinates who will destroy you!"
Goku and Luffy froze in awe, their eyes sparkling with stars. "AMAZING! AWESOME!" they both yelled in unison, their voices full of admiration.
Nami facepalmed. "Are you two serious? This guy's clearly lying."
Up on the cliff, Usopp's silhouette puffed up his chest, clearly enjoying the reaction. "That's right! Tremble before my power, you foolish invaders!" he declared, even as his knees subtly wobbled
Luffy cupped his hands around his mouth and yelled back, "Can we meet your subordinates? They sound so cool!"
Usopp froze for a moment, sweat forming on his brow. "Uh...uh, no! They're busy... doing pirate stuff! But they're super scary, so you'd better leave now if you know what's good for you!"
Nami sighed as she scanned the area. "I guess his '80 million subordinates' are just... three people ." Her eyes landed on three small figures emerging from the bushes, holding the makeshift flags.
The kids screamed in unison, "She knows!" before turning and running for their lives.
"Hey! Where are you going?!" Usopp yelled after them, his voice cracking slightly in desperation. Realizing he was now completely alone, Usopp turned back to the group and quickly pulled out a slingshot.
He aimed it at them, trying to steady his trembling hands. "This is your last warning! My slingshot is deadlier than any pistol! Leave now, or else!"
Luffy's grin widened as he stepped forward, tilting his head slightly. "Oh? Since you pulled out your weapon, does that mean you're ready to use it?" His voice took on a serious tone as he added, "Guns aren't for threats. They're for action."
Goku caught on to Luffy's mood and let out a low chuckle, matching Luffy's smirk with one of his own. "You know, we're real pirates," he said, his voice taking on an edge of excitement. "So choose wisely."
Zoro, standing slightly behind them, rested his hand on the hilt of one of his swords. His smirk widened as he said calmly, "What's it gonna be?"
Usopp's entire body trembled, his knees wobbling uncontrollably. His grip on the slingshot faltered, and with a clatter, it fell from his hands as he dropped to his knees. "That was so cool!" he exclaimed, staring at them with wide, awe-filled eyes
As Goku, Luffy, and Zoro exchanged glances, they suddenly burst out laughing.
Usopp blinked in confusion. "What?"
Luffy grinned and tapped the brim of his hat. "I stole that line from Red-Haired Shanks!"
Usopp froze, his jaw dropping slightly. "Wait, you know Shanks?"
Luffy smirked. "Yep! And I know your dad too—Yasopp, right?"
The mention of Yasopp caused Usopp to slip on a loose patch of dirt, and he tumbled down the small cliff with a surprised yell.
He landed at the bottom in a dazed heap, looking up at them in astonishment. "How do you know my dad?"
Luffy extending a hand to help him up. "I'll tell you everything—but first, how about you lead us somewhere we can eat?"
[restaurant]
As the group sat around the table, the sound of utensils clinking and plates being emptied filled the room. Luffy leaned back with a grin, patting his stomach. "Yeah, I met your dad when I was a kid."
Usopp's eyes widened with excitement. "My old man knows Shanks?"
Luffy nodded. "Yep! When I met him, he was part of Shanks' crew."
Usopp's jaw dropped. "Really? My dad was on Shanks crew? That's amazing!"
Goku, shoveling food into his mouth, paused long enough to ask, "Hey, Luffy, who's Shanks?"
Luffy adjusted his hat proudly. "Shanks is the guy who gave me this straw hat! He's really strong."
Goku's eyes lit up at the mention of strength. "Really? If I ever meet him, I'd like to spar with him!"
Usopp leaned forward eagerly. "So, did my pop ever say anything about me?"
Luffy nodded with a big grin. "Yeah! He always talked about you."
Usopp sat back, a mix of pride and longing washing over him. "Man, he's lucky. Sailing the seas, going on adventures..."
Nami tapped her finger on the table. "So, do you know anyone in this village who could get us a ship?
Usopp sighed, a smirk playing on his lips. "Sorry, but this is a small village. Ships like that aren't really around here."
Zoro, finishing his drink, gestured toward the window. "How about that big mansion on the hill? Someone there must know something."
Usopp's smile faltered, and he scratched the back of his head nervously. "Uh... yeah, that's.."
"Yeah, well, I have to go," and quickly dashes out of the restaurant. Everyone watches him leave, confused by his sudden exit.
A few minutes later, three kids burst into the restaurant. One of them points at the group and demands, "What did you do with our captain?"
Goku leans back in his chair, patting his stomach. "Man, I'm full," he says casually.
The kid freezes. "Wait, what do you mean?"
Zoro smirks slightly and adds, "Your captain? We ate him."
The kids scream in horror, turning to Nami. She slams her hands on the table, frustrated. "Why are you looking at me? We didn't eat your captain! He ran off somewhere!"
The kids glance at each other and sigh in relief. "Really? Then follow us!"
Curious, the group gets up and follows the kids. They soon arrive at the mansion surrounded by a tall fence. One of the kids points to the house and says, "If our captain ran off, he must be here."
Nami frowns. "Doing what?"
The kid shrugs and replies, "Lying. He always comes here to tell stories. There's a girl named Kaya who lives here. Her parents died from sickness, and she's been really sad ever since. Usopp comes by to cheer her up."
Nami raises an eyebrow. "That's terrible. He's just been telling her lies?"
The kids defend Usopp. "No! He tells her stories to make her laugh. It's different!"
Luffy grins. "Then we should go ask her for a ship then"
The kids warn, "It's impossible to get in. Two bodyguards stand watch, and they won't let anyone near the mansion."
Before they can finish, they turn to see Luffy climbing the fence.
"Luffy! Stop!" the kids yell, as Zoro and Nami rush to pull him down.
"Hey, Goku, help us out here!" Nami shouts as Luffy grins mischievously. Goku grabs Luffy but Luffy stretches his body back. "Gum Gum Rocket!" Luffy yells, flinging everyone—including himself—into the sky.
Screams fill the air as Goku, Zoro, Nami, and the kids are launched into the sky, tumbling through the air.
Meanwhile, Usopp sits on a tree branch chatting with Kaya. She looks up and gasps, pointing. "Usopp, what's that?"
Usopp turns and his jaw drops. "What the—?!"
Goku, Zoro, Nami, Luffy, and the kids crash-land into the yard with a loud thud. Dust clouds rise as everyone groans on the ground.
Luffy gets up first, grinning. "That worked!"
Nami fumes, brushing dirt off her clothes. "Yeah, you think?! You could've gotten us killed!"
Kaya looks down concerned. "Are you all okay?"
Usopp waves his hands. "Nah, it's fine! They're just...uh...new recruits for my pirate crew!" He tries to play it cool, sweating nervously.
Luffy shakes his head. "Nope! I came here to meet you, Kaya, and I wanted to ask if you had a ship we could use."
Before Kaya can respond, a man with slick black hair, wearing a black suit and glasses, steps out from the side of the mansion. His cold eyes sweep over the group as he asks sternly,
"What is going on here? Who are you, and why are you trespassing on Miss Kaya's property?"
Kaya's eyes widen in shock as Klahadore makes himself known
"Get out, this is criminal trespassing!" Klahadore demands, his voice sharp and commanding.
Kaya trying to calm the situation. "It's nothing, really, Klahadore. These are just some... travelers," she says, attempting to deescalate the tension.
But Klahadore, unmoved, continues in a more threatening tone, "You'll explain yourself after these people leave. Now, all of you leave unless you have business with me."
Luffy, ever unperturbed, raises his hand. "Yes! We do have business with you! Can you give us a ship?" he asks eagerly, eyes sparkling with hope.
"No," Klahadore snaps without hesitation, dismissing them. His eyes then fall onto Usopp, a smirk forming on his face.
"I've heard a lot about you. 'Been on many adventures', just like your father. Too bad you'll be nothing but a filthy pirate."
The words hit Usopp like a punch to the gut, but what really drives him forward is Klahadore's venomous tone.
Usopp's anger boils over as he walks up and throws a punch straight to Klahadore's face.
Everyone, except for Zoro, Goku, and Luffy, stares in disbelief as Usopp's fist connects with Klahadore. Usopp stands his ground, eyes burning with conviction.
"I'm proud of my father!" Usopp yells. "I'll never be ashamed of him being a pirate!"
Klahadore stumbles back, wiping the blood from his nose, his face twisting with fury. "You're just like him! Always resorting to violence when you don't get your way!"
As Usopp prepared for another punch, Kaya shouted, "Stop! Kalahadore isn't a bad person, he just wants what's best." Usopp hesitated, then reluctantly lowered his fist.
Kalahadore, with a stern glare, commanded, "Leave, and never return." Usopp, visibly hurt but resolute, turned and ran off, calling over his shoulder,
"You'll never see me around here again!" he shouts over his shoulder, his voice echoing with defiance. The three kids, yell at Kalahdore hurling insults.
"You stupid jerk face!" one of the kids shouts, and the others join in with their own childish taunts.
Luffy yells as well "Yeah, what they said! Jerk face!" he echoes, only to be immediately smacked on the back of the head by Zoro.
"Shut up, Luffy," Zoro grumbles, shaking his head. "You've got no bone to pick with him. Quit messing around."
Klahadore glares at them all, his patience clearly wearing thin. "Leave now!" he orders, his voice cold and stern.
Kaya, watching the scene unfold, feels concerned for Usopp but knows there's nothing she can do to stop him. She turns to the group with a sigh. "Please, just leave... I don't want any more trouble."
[Middle of a road]
The group sat near a fence, the silence settling in as Nami asked, "Where did Luffy go?"
Zoro shrugged and replied, "I don't know. Probably off to find that captain guy."
One of the kids piped up, "He's probably at his spot near the shore."
The group considered it for a moment before Zoro, with a casual wave of his hand, said, "Nah, it's good. He'll turn up eventually."
And Nami added "Luffy can handle himself," she glanced around and added, "But where's your other friend?"
The kids responded, "Oh, him? He usually goes off and disappears, then comes back yelling."
Just then, one of the kids returned, shouting, "A man is coming, he only walks backwards!"
The others looked at him skeptically and said, "Liar!" But the kid pointed "No, really, that's him!"
Sure enough, a man with long blonde hair, red heart-shaped glasses, and a hat appeared, walking backward. "Who here thinks I'm weird?" he asked, and everyone stared at him in silence. Nami couldn't help herself and said, "Well, you're pretty weird."
The man grinned and replied, "Well, I'm your normal hypnotist!" The kids, now intrigued, asked in unison, "Really? Show us!"
He pulled out a small metal object and began swinging it in front of them. "By the count of Jango, you'll be asleep," he said. "One, two... Jango!" As he snapped his fingers, the kids all collapsed into a deep sleep. And himself as well
Zoro watched in disbelief and muttered, "Who the hell is this creep?"
After a while, the man stands up and says, "Well, I'll be going now. Bye!" He starts walking backward, and Nami facepalms, muttering, "What a weirdo."
After a brief moment, the other kids begin to wake up, rubbing their eyes. One of them asks, "It's been a while—where's Usopp" Goku shrugs, "Yeah, where did Luffy go?" Just then, they see Usopp running past them in a hurry.
Zoro calls out, "Hey, isn't he supposed to be with Luffy?" Nami looks confused and asks,
"Usopp, where are you going?"
As Usopp speeds by, "What's wrong with him?" Zoro asked, watching Usopp run past them. Goku tilted his head, a questioning look on his face, and Nami raised an eyebrow, equally puzzled.
Nami turns to the kids an "Can you lead us to the shore?" The kids nod and respond, "Sure!" Nami, Goku, and Zoro begin following the kids toward the shore,
