One Piece:Becoming the King of the World from the Rocks Era

Chapter 311: Chapter 311: The Sands Guild

"Hahaha, Big Brother, watch us! We'll definitely take over those territories and become one of the great pirate crews in the New World!"

Queen's chubby body jiggled as he laughed, causing an uncomfortable sensation for anyone who saw it.

After escaping from the MADS laboratory, Queen naturally ran into Kaido, and after Kaido gave him a beating, Queen immediately accepted Kaido as his big brother.

"Queen, with that fat body of yours, don't be surprised if someone turns you into a sieve!"

Jin sneered.

When Wald destroyed Mariejois, Jin was fortunate enough to escape and fled with a large group of slaves. By coincidence, he ran into Kaido after Kaido's failure to defeat Silver Axe, and Kaido helped Jin fend off the World Government agents who were chasing him. So, Jin joined the Beast Pirates.

"Shut up, I'm not fat, I'm handsome!"

Queen was furious at being called fat.

"Hahaha, Father, are you going to fight? I want to go too!"

At this moment, a cute little girl with two horns on her head and holding a wolf's fang club, taller than herself, ran over. This was Kaido's daughter, Yamato.

Since Kaido had not conquered Wano Country, had not exiled his daughter to Onigashima, and without the influence of Kozuki Oden, Yamato's relationship with Kaido had improved significantly.

"You're too young. We'll talk about it when you grow up."

"Queen, Jin, get the men together. We're heading to take over Wald's territories now!"

Kaido didn't entertain Yamato's childish request and immediately ordered his subordinates.

"Ugh! I'll get you back one day, old man!"

Seeing that Kaido ignored her, Yamato angrily smashed the table in the meeting room with her wolf fang club.

Pirates all over the world with ambitions didn't just need Kaido. Many of the great pirates in the New World also wanted a piece of Wald's territory.

After all, the biggest and most prosperous territories in the New World were already claimed by the Flying Sky Pirates and the Infinity Pirates, so they were eyeing Wald's territories.

Additionally, many ambitious rookie pirates wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to establish themselves in the New World.

Thus, the long-lost peace in the New World was shattered as rookie pirates and established great pirate crews clashed over the territories left behind by Wald.

**Infinity Sea:**

After Li Yuan returned to the Infinity Sea, he immediately followed through with what he had told Golden Lion. He moved several important factories and laboratories from Wano Country to the Calm Belt.

Even Li Yuan's and his family's residences and office areas were moved. He left behind a decoy to make the World Government believe that this was still the heart of the Infinity Pirates.

Li Yuan had seen the power of the Heavenly King firsthand and no longer dared to keep his base in a location that could be easily located by the World Government.

Even in the Calm Belt, Li Yuan planned to change the location of his base every five years to ensure the World Government could never find it.

Li Yuan took the safety of himself and his family very seriously.

Who knew what could happen in the future? If Li Yuan caused significant damage to the World Government or angered Imu, or if Imu acted unpredictably, Li Yuan wouldn't put it past them to use the Heavenly King's cannon on his base in Wano or wherever he was.

"Darling, while the World Government is in turmoil and their control of the world is weakening, the Web intends to establish a public organization, the Sandstorm Guild."

"The guild will follow the system we discussed earlier. I believe once we establish the Sandstorm Guild, it will grow rapidly."

After Li Yuan returned, Shakky excitedly ran over to him.

The Hunter Guild, which had appeared in the original work, had yet to be seen by Li Yuan, and he wasn't sure who had founded it.

The Hunter Guild specialized in hunting pirates, and if handled properly, hunters could not only claim bounties from the Hunter Guild but also collect a reward from the Navy.

The Hunter Guild was particularly favored by powerful lone wolves.

The Sandstorm Guild, as Shakky mentioned, would not only issue tasks to hunt pirates but also other bounties, like transport, protection, treasure hunting, assassinations, and more. As long as someone could pay, the guild would take on the task.

The key aspect of assassination missions was that they were not limited to pirates, but could also target the Navy, nobles, World Government officials, and even the Five Elder Stars.

"The Sandstorm Guild can be established. Let's start by building it in the Four Seas. Once it stabilizes in a few years, we'll expand to the first half of the Grand Line. As for whether we'll move into the New World, we'll decide later," Li Yuan pondered.

With the World Government in disarray, it was indeed the perfect time to develop the guild.

"I've already prepared the groundwork for the guild. As for Wei Zhuang, he doesn't want to rely on your fame to venture into the seas, so I thought it would be good for him to join the Sandstorm Guild as a hunter," Shakky said happily.

Gai Nie, like Mihawk, enjoyed working alone and challenging the greatest swordsmen. Wei Zhuang, during his time training, took his childhood friends with him, including Anilu, who had always followed Wei Zhuang.

"Let Wei Zhuang and Gai Nie do as they like. As long as they don't expose our identities, that's fine."

Li Yuan didn't mind. He never restricted his children unless their growth was stunted by something else. He would let them do what they loved as long as it didn't hinder their development.

Even though Li Yuan wanted to strengthen the Infinity Pirates, he wouldn't force his children to do something they disliked.

After all, as a father, who wouldn't want their children to be happy?

After discussing the Sandstorm Guild with Shakky, Shakky hurried off to take action.

Li Yuan, on the other hand, went to visit Soros in the laboratory.

"Soros, how's it going? Have you processed all of Vegapunk's experimental results?"

Li Yuan asked as he saw Soros.

"Captain, Vegapunk is a genius. He managed to create so many results."

"I've gone through all of Vegapunk's achievements. I understand most of the techniques. I'm just a step away from replicating these experiments," Soros replied.

"Good. Now, I have a task for you. I want you to create a Devil Fruit."

"The origin of Devil Fruits is unknown, but I want you to artificially create them. Start with the Zoan-type Devil Fruits, which should be the simplest," Li Yuan said.

Li Yuan had originally planned for Caesar to handle this experiment since, in the original work, Caesar had created several artificial Devil Fruits for Kaido. However, after considering the side effects and low success rate of Caesar's artificial Devil Fruits, Li Yuan decided to give the task to Soros.

After all, in the original work, Vegapunk had created a copy of the Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit, the Azur Dragon. It was better for Soros, who had inherited Vegapunk's Brain Brain Fruit, to do this experiment.

"According to the life design diagram, the Zoan-type Devil Fruits are closely related to real animals. As long as we find the connection between them, this experiment shouldn't be too difficult," Soros explained.

"I trust you to handle the experiments. Just make a list of what you need, and the Infinity Pirates will deliver everything to you."

"Also, don't just focus on experiments. You need to develop your Brain Brain Fruit ability. The Infinity Pirates have copied all the books from O'Hara and added our own collection. Go through them and memorize everything using your ability."

"The more knowledge you store, the better your research abilities will be. That's the true reason I had you inherit Vegapunk's body," Li Yuan said.

"Captain, I understand. I won't let you down!" Soros replied earnestly.

"Good. I look forward to your results!"

Li Yuan finished speaking and left the laboratory, heading to find Koya.

"Koya, I have a task for you. Help me move a few islands."

Li Yuan instructed.

"Captain, which islands are we talking about?" Koya asked curiously.

"Islands with a lot of powerful beasts. Go ask Shakky. She knows exactly where they are," Li Yuan said, then walked off.

"Ugh, Captain makes me do all the work and doesn't even explain it clearly. Now I have to go ask Aunt Shakky!" Koya muttered, looking at Li Yuan's back.

"Aunt Shakky, Captain wants me to move a few beast islands. He said you know where they are. Can you tell me?"

Soon, Koya arrived at Shakky's office.

"You, I've told you so many times, knock before entering my office! How do you never remember?"

Shakky said helplessly, patting Koya on the head.

Although Shakky had always treated Koya like a daughter, Koya still insisted on calling her "Aunt" and had no intention of calling her "mother."

"I'm grown up now, Auntie! Don't pat my head, I won't grow taller!" Koya pouted, swatting away Shakky's hand on her head.

"Fine, fine. You're grown up now, but still so fidgety!"

"Here, these are the beast islands, along with other islands I've marked for you. I've also marked where to place them when you bring them back," Shakky said, handing Koya a world map.

The map showed the locations of the beast islands and other special islands, such as those rich in iron ore, coal, natural gas, wood, herbs, and other resources.

These islands were all gathered by the Web long ago, and the resources were exactly what the Infinity Pirates needed. Now that Koya could move islands, Shakky wanted to bring them all back.

This would greatly increase the resources available to the Infinity Pirates, saving on transportation costs, and also increasing the number of islands in the Infinity Sea—three birds with one stone.
