Before I could answer, it attacked.

A massive claw, covered in shimmering blue scales, came crashing down toward me like a tidal wave. My body reacted on its own—I raised my fist, coating it in Haki, and struck back.

It opened its jaws wide, revealing rows of razor-sharp teeth. The water twisted around us as a vortex formed, pulling us toward its maw.

It was trying to swallow us whole.

Selene cursed. "We need to stop it now!"

Shira's hands moved quickly, forming a series of hand signs. "I'll try to freeze the water—"

"No time!" Tatsuo growled, his sword burning with crimson flames. "We go all in!"

I exhaled slowly. This was it.

I focused every ounce of willpower into my fist. The swirling black lightning around me intensified, fusing with my Haki. I could feel something deeper awakening within me.

Then, I punched forward.

Vex, who had been silent the entire time, suddenly clapped. "Well, well. Looks like we have a real monster in the making."

The trial was over.
