One Piece : Winged Dragons of the Beast Pirates

Chapter 89: Chapter 70.2 : Is there such a person??

"Get lost and crawl back to where you belong!"

With a reverse grip, Whitebeard sent a shockwave rippling toward Ochoku, shattering the air in an instant.

Ochoku countered with a punch. "Newgate, it seems you still don't understand the situation!"

The shockwave collided with Ochoku's Armament Haki-infused strike, sending a deafening boom across the sky.

Ochoku pointed at Ian, who floated in the air. "That kid already killed Jozu. Now he's planning to wipe out the rest of your children—and all you can do is rage in vain here with Kaido!"

Ian tugged at the corner of his mouth.

So, you're trying to pin the blame on me, huh?

Well... not entirely wrong.

Whitebeard's expression darkened for a moment. His eyes locked onto Ian, a flicker of murderous intent rising.

Ochoku from BYD, just you wait.

"Ochoku, I'll say this once: get lost!"

Kaido's gaze turned sharp and threatening. "Or come down here right now, and I'll crush you to pieces!"

Ochoku's face hardened. "Kaido, let me be clear—if you refuse to stand down, you'll have to fight both Whitebeard and me!"

This guy really was headstrong.

Was he serious about going through with it?

Ian raised an eyebrow. Did they not realize that both the Navy and Charlotte Linlin were also waiting for the perfect moment to strike?

Oh, Morgans would spread the word to his "friends," but no one knew exactly who those friends were.

Did Ochoku really think he was the only one trying to play the fisherman, waiting to benefit from the conflict?

"Newgate, you've got no objections, right?" Ochoku glanced at Whitebeard.

His best-case scenario was for Whitebeard and Kaido to fight until they were both battered and exhausted—then he could swoop in and claim the prize.

The second-best outcome? They fight just enough to test each other's strength and then back off, maintaining the status quo.

In truth, Ochoku wasn't eager to start a war with Kaido. Even with a decisive victory, the cost would likely be severe on his end.

And on top of that, Kaido could fly! Unless Kaido and Whitebeard fought each other to the point of complete exhaustion, what were the chances of finishing him off in a single blow?

No matter how reckless that guy acted, the moment things took a turn for the worse, he'd flee without hesitation.

But if Kaido insisted on going through with the fight, then Ochoku had no choice but to join.

"Just don't get in my way," Whitebeard growled.

Ochoku lending a hand wasn't something Whitebeard would oppose.

Pirates weren't concerned with fair fights, after all.

And as Ochoku mentioned, that brat in the sky put the Whitebeard Pirates at a severe disadvantage.

"Wororororo! Perfect!" Kaido roared with laughter. "Come on, Ochoku! Even if I have to fight both of you, what do I have to fear?"

Of course, it had to be Kaido.

The world's most stubborn man.

Ian let out a sigh.

If Ochoku's pirate crew joined the fray, things would take a grim turn.

Ochoku might not be on the same level as the top monsters of the sea, but he was far stronger than the likes of the Calamities or the Sweet Commanders.

This would be an impossible fight for Kaido.

"Don't blame me if I set aside our old friendship, Kaido!" Ochoku rolled up his sleeves.

If it's a fight you want, then let's fight!

"Let's go, brat!"

Kaido suddenly tilted his head back and said, 'I'll leave that bastard Ochoku to you guys!'"

"Huh?"

Ian was stunned for a moment.

Me? Fight Ochoku? Seriously?!

If you put it in terms of the One Piece power scaling, Ochoku's strength is on par with an Emperor—a near Yonko-level fighter.

But still...

"Us?"

Ian raised an eyebrow.

"I'm here, Boss Kaido!"

With a sound like a bomber jet ripping through the sky, a massive black-winged dragon soared through the air. It was none other than King, diving down with incredible speed.

He landed, his gaze sharp as he locked eyes with Ochoku. "That's Ochoku, huh?"

So that's what happened—King must have sensed Ochoku's presence with his Observation Haki and rushed over immediately.

If it's both me and King together, then we might actually stand a chance against Ochoku.

After all, if Law and Kid could take down Big Mom by teaming up, then maybe the two of us—though not as powerful as DF awakened Law and Kid—should be able to handle Ochoku, who isn't nearly as terrifying as Charlotte Linlin.

...At least, in theory.

But that only works if both King and I are at full strength.

And right now, we're exhausted.

Wait—hold on a second!

Ian remembered something. "Uncle King, weren't you fighting Vista just now?"

Since you came here, then... who's handling Vista right now?

"Queen is dealing with him."

King answered calmly, as if it wasn't a big deal.

"Huh?"

Ian blinked again. "And what about Queen's original opponent? That fat guy's no joke either!"

"Fat guy? Who's that?"

King gave him a confused look. "Is there such a person?"

Is Blackbeard still lying low somewhere?!
