One Piece : Winged Dragons of the Beast Pirates

Chapter 156: Chapter 105.2 : Amazon Lily in Danger!!

Ian and the others planned to take their time exploring the island.

Since they were already here, right?

Moreover, Fish-Man Island was a world-renowned tourist destination. How could they not explore it properly?

Since it was a sightseeing trip, of course, they decided to split up.

The six of them split into three groups. Ian, of course, was paired with Yamato, then Jack and Law, and Black Maria and Viola. The pairings were quite reasonable.

Previously, Ian had already consulted with King Neptune, asking him to recommend some must-see spots on Fish-Man Island.

Neptune then introduced Ian to some key attractions on the island.

The Fish-Man Cultural Center, the Marine Shopping Center, Fish-Freely Manor, Mermaid Bay, Coral Hill, and so on…

Ian and Yamato followed the route that Neptune had planned, walking and exploring. Before long, the sky had already darkened.

The Sun Tree Eve transmitted the light of the sun, so when it became dark on the surface of the sea, the underwater world naturally darkened as well.

If one were to ask which of the many attractions they had seen so far was the most captivating, it would probably be Mermaid Bay.

As the name suggested, there were plenty of mermaids playing there.

There were probably few men who wouldn't be interested in that.

However, Ian didn't get too close, fearing that the enthusiastic Fish-Man Island ladies might approach him with a "Hey, handsome, come play with us," and turn it into another tragic incident of stargazing.

Ian planned to find a place to eat.

The restaurant had already been chosen.

Coral Hill, where there were plenty of shops.

Among them was a store called the Mermaid Café.

Ian decided that tonight's dinner would be here.

This was also one of the key attractions recommended by Neptune.

It was a rather new establishment, and Neptune mentioned that it had only recently opened.

But the focus isn't the shop itself, but the people inside.

The door was pushed open, and they walked in.

"Welcome, guest."

The one speaking was a very young mermaid girl.

She wore a blue hoodie, with the hood over her head, but even the hood couldn't hide her remarkably beautiful face. Her skin was pale to an almost excessive degree, but it didn't seem unsettling. Instead, it gave her a cold, alluring appearance.

The mermaid girl lifted her head. Upon clearly seeing Ian and the others, her delicate brows furrowed slightly.

Noticing her expression, Ian casually pulled out a chair and sat down. "What's the matter? You're not doing business with pirates today, Miss Shyarly?"

This girl was the top fortune-teller of Fish-Man Island.

She had predicted the birth of Princess Shirahoshi when she was only three years old, even foretelling the arrival of the Great Pirate Era, the Marineford War, and Whitebeard's death.

Quite impressive.

Even if Neptune didn't recommend her, Ian would have come to meet her.

"..."

Shyarly, the mermaid owner of the café, hesitated for a moment before gently nodding. "What would you like to eat?"

The names "Beast Pirates" and "Ian the Skyfire" were ringing throughout Fish-Man Island today. She wasn't blind or deaf, how could she not know?

"I'll have grilled fish!"

Yamato declared loudly.

"We do not serve fish here."

Shyarly said with emphasis, her tone cold and firm.

"Mermaids do not eat fish."

Ian gently pressed Yamato into the seat next to him. "Let's go with the recommended menu for today."

Shyarly finally nodded slightly.

"Also,"

Ian smirked, "How much does a fortune-telling cost?"

"Fortune-telling?"

Yamato turned to Shyarly in surprise. "You're a fortune-teller?"

Shyarly gazed deeply at Ian for a moment, then said, "If it's you two, I'm also curious about what kind of future you'll have."

She reached under the counter and pulled out a crystal ball.

"Oh!"

Yamato curiously leaned in, "There's nothing there."

"So you're not a fortune teller."

Ian grabbed the sleeve of this person and pulled her back, not allowing her to disturb Shyarly.

Just like every stereotypical fortune teller, Shyarly was intently gazing at the crystal ball in front of her, her hands moving randomly above it.

Then…

"Uh!!"

The young girl's eyes trembled, and she incredulously lifted her head to look at Ian.

"It seems like you saw a very interesting future."

Ian was a bit intrigued.

"..."

Shyarly paused for a moment. "I saw endless flames gathering toward you, the entire sky was dyed golden, and you turned into a fireball, like the sun itself, fighting against someone."

Ian blinked.

Huh?

That's it?

There are no words to express this, you could at least add some riddles or something.

A future this simple… what's going on?

"No other details? Like, who am I fighting?"

"I can't see clearly, it's a figure shrouded in a black robe," Shyarly said.

Oh, Imu.

Good news.

So, that means I'm really going to have a showdown with Imu, right?

Well, that works.

Ian gently nodded.

"I want to know too! I want to know too!"

Yamato eagerly leaned in front of Shyarly.

Shyarly began to rub her glass ball again, just like she was performing a Rasengan.

Soon, she lifted her head once more, looking at Yamato, then at Ian. "Congratulations."

Oh.

Totally understood.

It was even simpler than his own prediction.

Ian nodded. "Thank you."

"Huh?"

Yamato blinked in confusion. "What do you mean?"

Ian rubbed her head. "Don't ask too many questions, little one."

"What?! I'm not a little kid anymore!"

Anyway, the result from the divination this time was quite satisfactory.

That night, Ian and the others rested in Ryugu Palace.

Ian even saw Princess Shirahoshi, who had just turned one this year.

Although only one year old, the little princess was already much bigger than Ian.

It's worth mentioning that when the Fish-Men and Mermaids give birth, it's not as simple as the child inheriting the species of the parents.

The race of Fish-Men and Mermaids is randomly chosen from many types of fish genes embedded in their DNA.

For example, Queen Otohime was a goldfish mermaid, Neptune was a coelacanth fish mermaid, and Shirahoshi was a giant wrasse mermaid.

Of course, this doesn't mean that Neptune was playing the role of an unexpected father; it's just the way things are set up.

The next day, Queen Otohime eagerly ran off to give another speech, but Ian didn't think she'd achieve much.

After breakfast, Ian prepared to meet with the ordinary Fish-Man Island citizens who were willing to immigrate.

Unlike the thugs from Fish-Man District, these people wouldn't be drafted into the army, and the management would be a little different.

But before that...

"Ian-sama! It seems something interesting has happened at sea!"

Neptune sent over a newspaper.

Ian took the newspaper and looked at it.

His eyes widened in surprise.

Of course, it was the World Economic News.

The headline read:

"Marine Declare: They Will Eradicate the Tumor, Amazon Lily!"

Huh?

Was there such a thing in the original story?
