Chapter 214: 214. New General
----
For a Kingdom to change its name is often akin to starting anew. However, for a nation experiencing steady development, such a change signifies the adoption of a more powerful and ambitious governance model.
"Tru Empire~!"
"Tru Empire~!"
The crowd behind them erupted in unified chants, their voices resounding with enthusiasm.
They may not fully understand the implications of transforming a kingdom into an empire, but their unwavering trust in their King was evident.
To them, everything their King said or did felt unquestionably right.
In the world of pirates, many nations self-proclaimed themselves as empires. However, most lack the strength or accomplishments to back such a title; it often serves only to satisfy their leaders' egos.
The Tru Empire, however, was different. It had achieved significant progress across military, political, and commercial fronts.
This was not just the birth of another empire but the foundation of a future superpower a unified force where commerce, military, and governance seamlessly integrated.
Anos, the King of Tru, stood confidently on the podium, delivering his speech. His words, carefully prepared in advance, were designed to inspire and outline the kingdom's future vision.
He wanted his people to understand the true purpose behind this transformation.
At the speech's conclusion, Anos set his notes aside and looked ahead, his expression resolute.
"The rise of the Tru Empire is not because of us, the leaders, but because of you the citizens. You have supported this country and made it what it is today. With the establishment of our Marine force, their mission is clear: to defend every inch of our land and every citizen of this nation, even at the cost of their lives."
"As King of Tru, I too pledge to protect all that we have built, even with my own life."
His voice deepened as he continued, "Moreover, for merchants from other lands, I assure you this: once you enter the South Blue, you will be under the protection of the Tru Marines. Pirates and other threats will not touch you here."
As Anos finished, he waved to the gathered crowd. Both those present and those watching the live broadcast were visibly moved. For the first time, they felt a deep sense of warmth and care from their ruler. His words struck a chord, especially his commitment to protect his people alongside the Marines, igniting a long-suppressed pride and hope.
Turning to the three individuals standing nearby, Anos smiled before calling them forward. They stepped up promptly, their expressions solemn.
Addressing the crowd once more, Anos declared, "These three behind me are the future Generals of the Tru Empire!"
As the cameras zoomed in, the trio stood tall, fully aware of the significance of this moment.
Among them, Fujitora held a staff and sword, maintaining his composed demeanour. Abona stood with his hands resting on the hilt of his blade, exuding calm authority. Daiki, the youngest of the three, gazed ahead with determination despite being the least experienced.
Although Haruya's current strength didn't yet rival that of a full-fledged Admiral, his potential was undeniable. With proper training, he was expected to reach that level within a year or two.
For now, his role as Vice general was more than sufficient to secure the South Blue.
Each of their roles was clearly defined. Kaien would oversee external security, ensuring the kingdom's protection from outside threats.
Haruya was tasked with patrolling and safeguarding the entire sea around the Tru Empire, focusing on the welfare of coastal citizens. Abona, as a special military general, held a unique, undefined role a testament to his flexibility and importance in times of need.

Meanwhile, in the New World, a figure with massive horns sat inside a dimly lit cave, holding a giant sake flask. Watching the broadcast, he let out a booming laugh.
"Oh? I didn't expect to see them again!"
The figure was none other than Kaido, one of the Four Emperors. As the scene unfolded, Kaido recognized Anos from an encounter on an unknown island two years prior.
To see him rise to such prominence left the Yonko intrigued rather than angry.
"At least this guy will give the Marines a headache," Kaido muttered with a smirk.
In another corner of the world, Big Mom, another of the Yonko, lay sprawled on her bed, watching the same broadcast on a small screen.
"Mama~! Who would've thought someone like that could emerge from the South Blue?"
Turning to her son Oven, she added, "Send word to the King. Perhaps a marriage alliance would strengthen our ties. Mama~!"
Her older son, standing nearby, hesitated. "But Mama, with his current status, wouldn't he refuse such a proposal outright?"
"Mama~! You may be right," Big Mom admitted with a frown. Her tone grew serious. "I don't know much about the others, but that Fujitora fellow… I've heard of him. The Marines wanted him, and yet he's serving the Tru Empire? This kingdom may be far stronger than we've imagined."
