One Piece: Wielder of the Void

Chapter 211: 211. Marine Headquarters

----

Nowadays, reporters from major news outlets swarmed to the Tru Kingdom. Many reporters had already been stationed there, and now even more were arriving in droves.

However, upon closer observation, one might notice the peculiar absence of seagulls lingering on the ships or at the port.

The Tru Kingdom had truly made international headlines, catching the world's attention off guard.

Despite the global interest, no one dared to detract from the moment of honour that belonged to the kingdom.

This occasion was not only the first display of its military might to the world but also a declaration of its newfound strength.

In front of the kingdom's flagship battleship, all personnel had assembled. Standing tall and disciplined, they awaited the event with eager anticipation.

Within twenty minutes, a grand carriage emerged from the palace gates. Its immaculate white design, accentuated with intricate gilt details, radiated nobility and splendour.

Following it was a mechanical vehicle resembling an open-top off-road car. General Fujitora and Vice General Daiki sat inside, with four other Marine vice admirals accompanying them.

Among them were the Minister of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Commerce, and other top officials of the Tru Kingdom.

The scene was broadcast live across the nation, electrifying the atmosphere. Crowds erupted in cheers, their excitement echoing across the streets.

The streets had been cleared, creating a wide path for the procession. Citizens and foreign investors alike were thrilled by the grandeur of the event.

No one had imagined that the Tru Kingdom, once overlooked, would exhibit such formidable strength. Even the locals were awestruck as if seeing their nation's power for the first time.

Nanniwa Port was under tight but orderly police supervision. Domestic and foreign reporters were allowed near the port but forbidden from entering its premises directly.

Security measures were minimal, as there were no concerns about potential threats only maintaining order amidst the excitement.

The world's eyes were fixed on this grand spectacle. For the citizens of Tru, it was a moment of pride, but elsewhere, some viewed the development with concern.

At Marine Headquarters

"Why is it always the Tru Kingdom? What is going on here? How did such a massive military force suddenly emerge? What is the South Blue division even doing? How could they not notice something of this magnitude?"

In the Marine Headquarters conference room, a large screen displayed the Tru Kingdom's event, showcasing their impressive fleet and disciplined forces.

Sengoku stood at the front, slamming the table in frustration.

The other attendees sat in uneasy silence, except for a few who seemed unconcerned.

For those in the know, it was evident at a glance that the troops on display were far from ordinary.

Standing at the helm, Sengoku's expression was grave. For the Marines, this development was explosive news like a steel nail driven into their backs. And there seemed to be no immediate solution.

"Has anyone been sent to investigate? How has a nation in the South Blue amassed this kind of power? This doesn't even happen on the Grand Line, let alone in the Four Blues!"Akainu exclaimed, his gaze fixed on the screen.

"Hmm~, I mentioned before that the Tru Kingdom wasn't as simple as it seemed. But even I didn't expect them to grow this strong in just two years. Truly surprising," said Aokiji, reclining in his seat, his tone casual despite the seriousness of the situation.

"Indeed, their forces look formidable. Haven't multiple teams been dispatched to investigate them? If I recall correctly, at least five or six groups were sent. Yet there's been no report of an army like this," Kizaru chimed in, his voice unhurried.

The tension in the room was palpable. While Aokiji and Kizaru maintained their relaxed demeanour, their expressions betrayed a deep unease.

The Marines had focused their efforts on the New World, and even on the Grand Line, few nations posed such a threat. Now, a powerful kingdom had risen in the South Blue, and it was a development they could not ignore.

"This isn't the time for idle discussion!" Sengoku roared. "I need a plan now! How do we handle this?"

"Let me lead the troops there," Akainu suggested. "I warned everyone before not to overlook them. Now they've become a threat, and it's time to eliminate them!"

"Bang!"

Sengoku slammed a stack of papers onto the table, glaring at Akainu. "Can you think before resorting to violence? Look at the situation before charging in!"

Taking a deep breath, Sengoku regained some composure and continued, "This report just came in from CP0. The leader of the Tru Kingdom's military is someone you should be familiar with, Garp."

He paused, turning toward Vice Admiral Garp. "The general of their army is Fujitora. Does that name ring a bell, Garp?"
