One Piece: Wielder of the Void

Chapter 207: 207. Reputation

----

After two years of refining its structure, the Tru Kingdom's legal system is now considered the most comprehensive and stringent in the entire pirate world. It stands as a model of justice and order.

All forms of personal combat are strictly prohibited within the kingdom's borders. Violators face detention, and in severe cases, they may even be expelled.

The legal system applies not only to citizens but also to foreign merchants and visitors. Anyone residing within the kingdom must adhere to its laws, regardless of their origin.

Even the Marines stationed in the South Blue are not exempt from these regulations.

Because of such strict enforcement, the Tru Kingdom has become a haven for those seeking peace and stability a paradise admired by many.

Naturally, the kingdom's rapid development has also drawn envy. Neighbouring nations harbour resentment, while major pirates from the New World, and even some factions within the World Government, covet its wealth and prosperity.

Despite this, the kingdom has managed to maintain its independence, refusing to join the World Government.

However, this defiance has caught the attention of powerful figures who view Tru Kingdom as an irresistible prize.

Neighbouring Nations, constrained by fear and limited resources, can only watch enviously.

The combined populations of these nations are now dwarfed by that of the Tru Kingdom a testament to its growing strength.

The kingdom's policies have inspired loyalty among refugees and migrants.

Those who arrive seeking a better life often develop a deep attachment to the kingdom, many even pledging their lives to its cause.

This sense of unity has become a cornerstone of the nation's economic and social strength.

A Day of Change

The Royal Palace of Tru was under heightened security today. Over 10,000 individuals who had been training on Skypiea were set to return, marking the culmination of two years of rigorous preparation.

This was their moment to reunite with families, witness the kingdom's progress, and begin fulfilling their duties.

Among them, over 1,000 were already slated to serve as instructors for the next group of trainees.

In the palace's rear gardens, Anos, Kaien, and Abona awaited the arrival of these elite forces. Standing with them was a group of senior officers, ready to personally welcome the returning soldiers.

This marked the beginning of a new chapter. Much work lay ahead.

On Skypiea

"Restrain your excitement and maintain discipline!" bellowed Daiki, standing at the forefront of the training grounds. "When you return, His Majesty will be waiting at the gates. Show him your strength and dedication your most heroic selves!"

Daiki's voice, amplified by his Conqueror's Haki, carried across the crowd without the need for speakers.

The trainees, though brimming with excitement, quickly quieted down. After two years of intense training, they had transformed.

Their once-immature auras had been replaced by confidence and power.

Even the weakest among them now rivalled a Marine lieutenant colonel in strength, many having mastered Armament Haki to some degree.

Among their ranks were five vice admirals, over a dozen rear admirals, and numerous high-ranking officers an unprecedented achievement for a single kingdom.

---

"Lieutenant Generals Zen and Moshank, lead your teams to the teleportation gate. Maintain absolute silence and discipline!" Daiki commanded the officers.

The five lieutenant generals stepped forward, saluting sharply. "Yes, sir!"

The troops began forming orderly lines, preparing to return to the kingdom.

One figure stood apart from the crowd—Enel, the enigmatic inhabitant of Skypiea. He was not officially part of the Tru Kingdom but had been allowed to observe their training.

Holding his well-worn book on electromagnetic mechanics, he appeared hesitant, unsure whether to remain or join the departing forces.

"Enel, you'll accompany us," said Haruya, clapping him on the shoulder.

"Really? I can go?" Enel asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.

"You've earned it. Let's go," Haruya replied with a reassuring smile.

Though not a native of the Tru Kingdom, Enel couldn't hide his eagerness to see the world below a land he had only read about in books.
